We requested a ground floor unit because stairs are very difficult and there was no elevator. When we arrived the clerk was rude, she called us to see if we would be arriving very soon. When we arrived she said we would just have to deal with the outside stairs.

Checked in to the background noise of a Trump speech playing. Doesn’t bother me but did find that to be an odd welcoming sound. The lady at the front desk was not so pleasant to the people checking in before me, but was kind to me. The room I had was of good size. Good size refrigerator and jetted tub. Did not have any issues filling tub with hot water like some others have had. The bed and pillows were quite firm. The room should have been cleaner though and general upkeep of maintenance in the room was obviously lacking. If you drive a large lifted truck, parking may be somewhat difficult at the building my room was located. It’s a very tight lot. I’m indifferent on recommending it. If it fits your budget then go for it.

We had checked the ADA compliance box at Hotels.com and this hotel showed up. It is not ADA compliant and they had no fix for us being on the second floor and we had a 98 year old wheel chair bound family member. We had to carry them up and down the stairs. Room had no a/c whic was expected. Smelled moldy.

Convenient, clean room, pet friendly, GREAT DESK STAFF. Back parking lot difficult to maneuver car in, especially when needing to exit. Need RECYCLING bins for: plastic, paper, glass. Cleaning staff doesn’t speak English & man in charge seemed unhappy/mad all the time. I wouldn’t want to have work w/or for him. Taffy in room is nice touch! 😊 Lower floor in back has outside wooden deck w/table & chairs!

My room at first glance looked good but within 3 minutes my granddaughter was screaming because of a spider 🕷 hanging 3 feet down from ceiling. I was able to use a foot stool to grab it with a tissue. Then I started looking around room and found 3 more spiders hanging from ceiling and 4 more on the walls. I was not real happy. Had room been unused for a long time or did the staff just not pay attention?? We started down to go to office and complain when the power went out. Lady at frontdesk was a little frazzled as they were several other guests asking about the power outage. I told lady at desk that I was going to check out and leave due to the spider infestation in my room. She said she would have to write all down since computer not working. So I again told her about the spider issue. I knew they had no other rooms for us to change to. When I booked trip, I did the prepayment option for 2 nights. Lady at desk said she would ask manager about refund. Now 2 days later and I have not heard from anyone.

The accommodations were super cute and clean. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We live in the region, and just came here for a small staycation before a medical procedure. Now, we cannot wait to come back!

We had a single king. The room was HUGE! lots of room. I liked the full size coffee pot. The bed was very comfy. Good price considering it was July 4th weekend. On the down side, there was mold in the bathroom. Room 37

Sheets were dirty upon arrival. When asked for new sheets the lady at the front desk said she had to check them herself, came into my room(smelling like cigarettes) trying to scratch off the spots herself only to tell me they had no extra sheets. Will not stay here again.

We've stayed twice now and it has been fantastic both times. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. There are dozens of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel, as well as plenty of beach access.

Good location, 5 short blocks to the beach, fantastic shower pressure, clean. Only thing was there is no AC just a standing fan in the room so room was a bit stuffy & warm - would've liked to have known before arriving at location to see the hand written sign posted at reception about NO AC. Other than the AC issue, a good experience.

The room was adequate. The only glaring problem we had was the ridiculously loud plumbing. We had a second floor room in the corner of the building around the corner from the office and whenever someone in another room took a shower the noise from the pipes was so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation in the room. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean with no odors. With all the lights on the room was very dark even during the day. The room was to have a kitchenette but there was no table/chairs to sit at. Wifi was extremely slow and our phones defaulted to our cellular service because of it. Streaming TV was was glitchy because of it.

A nice little place not to far from downtown seaside. The room was small but comfortable. Everything was clean and worked. My only complaint was the noise the people upstairs were tweaking or something and were up all night banging on the walls and floor. If we stay again we will ask for an upper floor room.

Property system down so several different other groups and myself waited hours to see if/when it rings would be available. We were told to call them periodically to see if the system was up. We called for over 4 hours and still nothing. Property wouldn't even help us get a refund that night and we stayed at another property. Today they said OYO was going to refund the money, but it would take 7-10 business days to receive it. Out a wrinkle in our trip... More money out of than anticipated since we had to get another room somewhere else, so we ended it trip early.

I had a fantastic stay this past weekend. The hotel was very clean and well kept, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, just steps away from the beautiful Seaside beach. Everything about my experience was comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Staff was somewhat rude, the front desk person loudly told me my room number with other guests around, which I don't think is standard. Also blasting a radio show loudly when I went in and impatient when I wanted directions to the secondary building, which was awkward to get to. However, the room was nice with a scenic view and well-maintained facilities.

I showed up to check in and no one was at the property, I was not notified that the hotel wasn’t staffed after a certain time. I had to seek accommodations elsewhere then received voicemails stating I left the property without paying, when I never even checked in and the cops would be called on me for non payment for stay and that the booking company I used will be notified. Poor communication

Our experience was disappointing from the moment we pulled up to the property. The front desk attendant was outside smoking and appeared irritated that we interrupted her break to check in. We were greeted with zero enthusiasm, which immediately set a negative tone. The room itself was clean, but far from what we were promised. We specifically booked a river view room, as clearly stated on our confirmation. Instead, our view was of a rundown building with broken window screens and scattered trash. Upon further inspection, we discovered that the window lock was broken, and the only thing securing it was a single screw—completely unacceptable from a safety standpoint. When we brought our concerns to the front desk, we were once again dismissed. Another staff member chimed in and argued that we hadn’t booked a river view, despite the confirmation on our receipt. Rather than continuing the back-and-forth, we chose to leave and stay down the street at Saltline—thankfully a much better experience. This felt like a classic bait and switch. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Nice little hotel on the riverside. No AC was surprising but it wasn't overly hot that weekend. Nice deck space to enjoy the outdoors from the room (if you choose that room type but there is a communal deck if not). Friendly staff, clean, affordable, and very close (walking distance) to the beach or downtown. Would stay again.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very grumpy person at the front desk. We were then directed to a different location where our room was located. When we arrived, we noticed a heavy construction area directly adjacent to the property. The room had the appeal of a Motel 6. Our small patio was 15 feet from the construction and totally unusable. The noise from the heavy equipment didn't stop until 6 pm and resumed at 6 am.

My friend and I stopped for a night and choose this place for the price. It's about a 6 block walk to the fun and no view at all. The walk wasn't bad but the area is a little sketchy (saw two drugged out people). The rooms don't have AC but they have a big fan and that was good. Our room faced a house that had a dog barking and was right by the street so it was noisy. However, it was quiet at night. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was great. Lots of pressure! Overall, the stay was good. The lady who checked us out was so nice!

Too far from the water and too close to the road. No view beyond a building wall and parking, no air conditioner. It was very expensive considering all. It was clean and the staff were nice, and we could drive to the center in a few minutes.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and the smart TV was awesome. Usually hotels have crappy channels but this place had a smart TV with every streaming service which was nice. Our room was overlooking the river which my kids loved. The only downside was that the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast. We would stay here again for sure.

With many different room options it pays to read the descriptions. At first was disappointed as the location looked like it was on a river, but we were on a street, didn’t see the river for apartments. There is a building closer to the river. The first thing seen when checking in was no air conditioning, see read closely, we didn’t need it, it was late September, not sure if it is needed, just heads up. The room we had had a four burning stoves, full size refrigerator and a dishwasher, also pots and pans. New comfortable king bed, if that is what you want, could be great, only one chair though. Read room descriptions closely before picking. Location not best, but walking distance to promenade.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The motel was clean and well-kept. Simple, but comfortable. An easy, straight walk from our building to the Prom[enade]/beach. And not far from restaurants, a gas station, and a grocery store as well. Would stay here again.
