Be ready for a noisy stay!!! The Bar runs the Apartments above which was an interesting check-in. No elevator so pack light because you are carrying your bag upstairs. The rooms are quite nice per their pictures but very noisy as they are right above the bar. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep. While it is loud outside with people drinking on the street, be ready for the Kegs that get delivered on Wednesday at 6:10 am as they roll them down the street. My biggest complaint is the lack of transparency when I checked in and their disrespect of doing construction during my stay. I wish I hadn't prepaid and that they were open about the construction or gave me a discount. The construction started every day between 7-8 am and they left debris in the hall I had to climb over. See the pictures below and lower your standards if you stay here. I advise not paying in advance.

Great location. It is connected to the pub and in a renovated building. I have a nice room and each floor has snacks and drinks available. The young lady that checked me in was nice enough to carry my bags up the 3 floors, there is not elevator. The room is very nice and the bathrool has toiletris that were nice to have. I didn't hear any noise and I felt very centrally located. I would recommend and stay again. Once you check in you have your own private entrance to the building and everything is secure. TV did not work and batteries were needed for remote, I was too tired to walk down the stairs to ask for them. :). Wifi was strong.

Incredible little gem. We can't wait to come back. The only thing to be aware of is there is no elevator and the stairs are steep. However, it was truly a wonderful hotel and so charming!

What a great experience. Conveniently located by Liverpool street and Moorgate stations. The staff was super friendly and helpful. In room snacks and drinks. Room was nice and spacious (for Europe). AC was great and nice shower as well. We’ll be back for sure

This is the perfect boutique hotel in a prime location. It is literally across the street from the Liverpool Street station and Eatly. The rooms are quiet even with an active pub and busy neighborhood downstairs. There is no lift and a tight stairwell which wasn’t a problem for us, but something to be aware of. They even had our room available early for luggage drop off.

The room was lovely but a little tired in places. A bedside lamp was hanging off the wall. The sheepskin rug over the chair needed to be thrown away it just looked gross! Bed very comfortable, bathroom huge and very modern. The pub itself was lovely and great atmosphere but when we returned from the theatre it was already shut we had hoped to have a couple more drinks before bed! Breakfast the next morning was delicious, well presented lots of choice and our server was very pleasant. Only issue I had was at night you could hear the noise from outside despite the extra glazing unit in the window. Each room had access to a pantry with complimentary tea coffees soft drinks crisps and biscuits this was a nice touch. We stayed in Fishers Folly at the very top so there were about 70 stairs to climb!!

One of my worst hotel experiences ever, at least when considering the cost. • No cleaning for four days. Sure, we finally got dry towels and the garbage disposed after three days, and managed to borrow two glasses from the pub, but still no cleaning - though it says daily cleaning. • The tv didn’t work (which quite frankly was a disaster as London is closed down on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). We informed the hotel immediately but it wasn’t possible to fix. • Coffee and water for one day only - not refilled for four days. • Absolutely no information - either on check in or during the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the bull and the hide. It was nice and central for all of our activities, the bed was incredibly comfy, the room was clean and the bathrooms were lovely! We would definitely stay again.

The good: location, amazing staff, early checkin, bag storage, bed really comfy, flat screen, amenities and really good cookies! The bad: staircases, it’s an old building so understandable but very tricky to go down, the curtains won’t block all the light, very noisy area and if you have a light sleep I’d recommend some noise canceling solution. The ugly: the sink had its drain fully closed, I had to unscrew it for the water to run and then a terrible smell came out of it, the shower heads looks like were never cleaned from the build up calcium, the air vent in the toilet was also full of build up dust.

The Bull is the downstairs pub. The Hide is the rooms above said pub. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant. The building is certainly more than 100 years old, but the rooms are nice. They are clean, roomy, comfortable and nicely updated. This location is just across the street from the Liverpool railway/subway station. The location is really convenient for transportation around London. There are a multitude of dining and drinking establishments and a wide variety of services within walking distance. The neighborhood is extremely busy. Don't come here expecting peace and quiet! That being said, the Hide has done a pretty good job of soundproofing the sleeping areas of the rooms. Bring your earplugs and enjoy the people and variety of the area.

Although we arrived later in the evening, Anisoara had everything sorted — clear instructions, keys ready, and the entry code sent straight over. The room was comfortable with a big bed and great sheets, plus a full-size bath. Being down a pedestrian street meant it was very quiet, and we had a solid night’s sleep.

Great location. However, check in is at the bar, which at 5pm on a weekday is very busy. Not ideal. And streets outside still noisy at midnight with people shouting and bottles being cleared... so not a great night's sleep. But room very nice and comfortable. Finally, no instructions given for checking out, and no staff around in the morning. Left key in thr room with the door unlocked. No idea if that was the right thing to do or not!

We arrived quite late, but Anisoara had everything organised — the keys, the access code, and clear directions. The room itself was very comfortable, with a large bed, good-quality bedding, and a proper full-size bath. Because the hotel sits on a pedestrian street, it was peaceful throughout the night and we slept really well.

Only issue I had was at night you could hear the noise from outside despite the extra glazing unit in the window. We had a mixed experience here. The location is excellent, and the room itself was very nice. Customer service was close to zero. An email I sent to the hotel about check-in was never answered (I sent it more than a day ahead of time), and the first person we dealt with at the adjoining pub (there is no actual hotel reception desk) could barely be bothered to say hello or tell us anything about check-out, WIFI, etc. (he did however carry a suitcase up for us, which was much appreciated). The rooms here are essentially an appendage to the pub and are treated accordingly.

The room was comfortable with a big bed and great sheets, plus a full-size bath. Being down a pedestrian street meant it was very quiet, and we had a solid night’s sleep.

Great location. It is connected to the pub and in a renovated building. I have a nice room and each floor has snacks and drinks available. The young lady that checked me in was nice enough to carry my bags up the 3 floors, there is not elevator. The room is very nice and the bathrool has toiletris that were nice to have. I didn't hear any noise and I felt very centrally located. I would recommend and stay again. Once you check in you have your own private entrance to the building and everything is secure. TV did not work and batteries were needed for remote, I was too tired to walk down the stairs to ask for them. :). Wifi was strong.

We arrived quite late, but Anisoara had everything organised — the keys, the access code, and clear directions. The room itself was very comfortable, with a large bed, good-quality bedding, and a proper full-size bath. Because the hotel sits on a pedestrian street, it was peaceful throughout the night and we slept really well.

Very unusual property. There is no hotel lobby per se - the check in area was the bar downstairs. It wasn't entirely clear upon arrival where to check in. Was shown to room, but no introduction to the WiFi. On checkout, had to search the back rooms for someone to give my key to. Strange "hotel". It was more of a bar with some rooms upstairs. Rooms were fine, though, if a bit tight.

This is the perfect boutique hotel in a prime location. It is literally across the street from the Liverpool Street station and Eatly. The rooms are quiet even with an active pub and busy neighborhood downstairs. There is no lift and a tight stairwell which wasn’t a problem for us, but something to be aware of. We had a wonderful stay at the bull and the hide. It was nice and central for all of our activities, the bed was incredibly comfy, the room was clean and the bathrooms were lovely! We would definitely stay again.

The room was above the Pub in a nice alleyway. After work hours there was a mob outside and a bit noisy until 10:30pm. I knew that could be the case, so it did not bother me. The beer was cold! Per the web the pub was supposed to have food, but this was not the case. Otherwise, I may have given 5 Stars. However, there were plenty of other options in the area. A great stay.

The Bull is the downstairs pub. The Hide is the rooms above said pub. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant. The building is certainly more than 100 years old, but the rooms are nice. They are clean, roomy, comfortable and nicely updated. This location is just across the street from the Liverpool railway/subway station. The location is really convenient for transportation around London. There are a multitude of dining and drinking establishments and a wide variety of services within walking distance. The neighborhood is extremely busy. Don't come here expecting peace and quiet! That being said, the Hide has done a pretty good job of soundproofing the sleeping areas of the rooms. Bring your earplugs and enjoy the people and variety of the area.

It didn't help that the England football team was playing at the time that we arrived but the check in process was not very good. It took some time to get assistance and then we were put in the wrong room. This was eventually sorted out and the correct room was quite nice. The lack of food at the pub was a disappointment.

The room was lovely but a little tired in places. A bedside lamp was hanging off the wall. The sheepskin rug over the chair needed to be thrown away it just looked gross! Bed very comfortable, bathroom huge and very modern. This is a great place to stay! We had a room on top of the pub and were a bit worried about noice during late evenings, but the pub closes between 10 and 11 pm and after this it is really quiet! The air conditioning was excellent and there was water cans, coffee, cookies and snacks available for free. The location is also excellent with Liverpool station just 100 m away, a supermarket around the corner and plenty of pubs, and restaurants within walking distance. It is a pity that you cannot get breakfast in the pub, but there are plenty of places serving breakfast in the neighborhood. Willl definitely stay there again on our next visit to London!

The room we stayed in was clean and a decent size for London. It is located in a busy area of downtown so be prepared for noise—I would suggest earplugs for the street noise if you want to sleep through the night. The location is great for visiting Tower of London and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Nice clean room, aircon was great (we started there when we had the heatwave) clean basin clean bed. Was comfy. quite a small room but it was cosy. Very easy check in. Our room was away from the street and was quiet. Would definitely stay again.
