The entire safe here was amazing. The facility was well taken care of. Food options were plentiful however portion sizes were small. Activities were well planned however early week there is not much to do in the evening. Pool bars closed at 6 pool closed at 8. Overall I would recommend if you want to have a good time and enjoy the 20s-50 age groups

My partner and I loved this property. The swim up room is always a plus for me. The party pool was a great time and good music! For an all-inclusive, the staff was very responsive, and we didn't have to wait super long for room service. We definitely enjoyed ourselves! Ps bring floaty's if you get a swim up room; it was the perfect touch!

Room was clean and food was average. Wait times at restaurants are longer than expected. Charly Boy was always on the spot for drinks by the pool. Property is outdated compared to other Cancún properties.

Pools were great, this is a adult only resort and was geared towards a party/nightclub theme. Oceanfront rooms are excellent, xhale concierge is pretty worthless except for the oceanfront rooms, Robert in concierge was amazing, Angel and the team at the plated breakfast were great (best place for breakfast is the outdoor plated), Rogerillo and Edwin were amazing by the main pool every day. We were sad to see them switch sides on us one day. I will say the restaurants are limited in that they are very specialized with some strange foods. As a result our mainstay dinner places were the Italian restaurant and room service in the evenings, tepanyaki is good (but loud) if you can get a reservation. Poolside pizza at the main pool is awesome, chicken sandwiches from the party pool are also a favorite. The Mexican restaurant and French restaurants are limited menus, steak restaurant didn't try, no nighttime buffet which is a big negative as this would have offset the limited menus at the restaruants. Otherwise our stay was great, dining is an individual taste so you may like the choices better than we did!

Amazing resort, we enjoyed every minute of it. The pools are nice, rooms are super clean, and the staff is super friendly. This resort is ideal if you want to sit back and relax. Some of the days it was hard to find loungers, other than that everything was perfect.

What the property a lacked from the pool needing an upgrade with the floor so rough you needed to wear water shoes, the staff made up with the best service. I would say the food would be average. The rooms were very nice great setup comfortable bed and fixtures. There were no Bars that were inside air condition all outdoor bars with the exception of one small bar inside the Mexican restaurant. I guess Hyatt is taking over and that worries me. There was some good entertainment with the laser show being fantastic. There was a casino night that was really good. Entertainment by the pool was okay we were there for six nights and if I hear pink pony Cowboy one more time I think I would have had to shoot the speakers at the pool. There's definitely a agenda by Hyatt. The transportation in is close to Cancun Airport but when you turn off the main road they call it the Mexican massage parts of it are paved and then parts are like a bumper ride with potholes as big as small cars. The driver says there's a conflict with the resorts and the government fighting over who should pave the road. All in all if they upgrade the pool and some of the facilities I would give it a A- if not B minus and only because of the good people that work there.

So much fun at the party pool everyday and the big hot jacuzzi, But there was alot of down time with nothing to do after 10 pm. Wednesday night the club was insanely fun. Friday night club was closed at 12am. We were all looking for something to do. The magic and marriage show was a lot of fun and maybe karaoke but that’s it. Need more activities. Room service food Was great, breakfast was okay all the restaurants food was excellent. Drinks We’re way too sweet they are horrible stick to shots only, mojito, beer or rum and coke

The whole experience was a 5 out of 10, maybe a 6. The food was about a 3. Room-wise, it looked like an 8 but functioned more like a 4. Every day I woke up sliding like someone misted the entire floor was soaked. Even without taking a shower or opening the doors, the condensation had the floor constantly wet — literally sweating at all times of the day or night. I was honestly hoping I’d fall so I could sue. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent — from the moment you walked in, everyone was friendly, from “hola” to “gracias.” I’ll give them that. Actually, thinking back, I take it back — saying it was a 6 is a stretch. It was probably a solid 5

WORST RESORT EVER! I had multiple issues as noted: 1. First room was HOT as hell as the A/C unit was not blowing any cool air and took 2.5hrs to fix. 2. We were offered a room that had a horrible smell of mold to replace the room without A/C, we decided to wait for the A/C unit to be fix. 3. Our lock for our room door stopped working which we previously informed help desk about and we ended up locked out in wet bathing suits for over an hour. 4. Had to demand a new room and upgrade to accommodate the ongoing issues we had at the resort. 5. New room on Secrets side had A/C that wasn't working appropriately as we could not turn the A/C down, so we were FREEZING at night. We were tired of not being appropriately supported by the help desk and would bundle up in our clothing at night. 6. Food was overly SALTY! Hypertension with every bite. 7. Reception desk was of little help, it felt like once they checked us in, they no longer cared how we were feeling about our stay. Several times I had to physical go to the reception desk as they would put me on a long hold when I called. 8. The rooms had mold on the lampshades, and were poorly maintained. 9. The only good thing was that the beds were relatively comfortable and we didn't wake up in pain. 10. We received an upgraded breakfast which was okay but overall 1/10 - would NEVER EVER recommend. Speaking with the locals I was informed that this hotel has several complaints from guest. My advise - DO NOT book this resort EVER!

The shower smelled moldy. The knobs kept flaming off the wall. Thank goodness I come with cleaning supplies to make the room smell fresh. To the naked it the room looks clean. In the restaurants and bars the cups and silver ware were not clean. People were seen having sex in the pool. The pool water was cloudy. Bird poop was in the chairs around the pool. Too many of the seating areas are reserved for “members”. These areas were empty for extended portions of the day. Leaving other guests to have to sit their belongings on the side. I will NOT recommend this property to anyone.
The shower smelled moldy. The knobs kept flaming off the wall. Thank goodness I come with cleaning supplies to make the room smell fresh. To the naked it the room looks clean. In the restaurants and bars the cups and silver ware were not clean. People were seen having sex in the pool. The pool water was cloudy. Bird poop was in the chairs around the pool. Too many of the seating areas are reserved for “members”. These areas were empty for extended portions of the day. Leaving other guests to have to sit their belongings on the side. I will NOT recommend this property to anyone.

During my stay at breathless my husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon. Upon arrival the staff was friendly but the room we stayed in was not clean and completely smelled like mold/mildew. The whole experience was a 5 out of 10, maybe a 6. The food was about a 3. Room-wise, it looked like an 8 but functioned more like a 4. Every day I woke up sliding like someone misted the entire floor was soaked. Even without taking a shower or opening the doors, the condensation had the floor constantly wet — literally sweating at all times of the day or night. I was honestly hoping I’d fall so I could sue. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent — from the moment you walked in, everyone was friendly, from “hola” to “gracias.” I’ll give them that. This place is amazing. Rooms are updated and beautiful with the views they say you get! Service is the best I have seen at an all inclusive and we have been to over 30 different ones. This place is not for a quiet get away but a fun party atmosphere with stunning views and facilities. We loved it had such variety but was still a pretty small intimate resort. Staff are off the charts, no excuses just service!

Music started early (loud) didn’t bother us but might bother others so good to know. “Nightclub” on the resort was fun. Pool parties were awesome. Room was okay. Controls for the fan did not work and AC controls really did not work during the day but turned on at night. Toilet button was also very hard to flush. I scraped my knuckles trying to flush the toilet every time.

We absolutely loved our stay at Breathless. Jesus was our concierge and he was fabulous! We upgraded to the oceanfront exhale club with a Jacuzzi. The room was large, clean, and the shower was awesome! Our favorite restaurant on the property was the French cuisine, however we thoroughly enjoyed the coffee shop as well. The pool attendants in the exhale section in the energy pool, Victor, Israel, Edwin were fantastic. The wood fire pizza made for a tasty poolside lunch. Our favorite show was the outdoor fire performance with the poolside buffet.

He organized a dinner with chef and manager, asked for our off menu dinner requests and helped to create a wonderful dinner experience. Cesar poolside service is a superstar, at every moment aware of our needs even anticipated them with a smile and effenciency! Despised: Jose in reception, refused to listen, didnt ask questions to understand concern, lacked empathy, visually and verbally demonstrated disdain and did nothing to resolve the issue. A room change due to elevators out of service. I would not choose to return to this location, overall most employees lacked a positive attitude and made thise experience less than average.

Nice stay, Roger and Edwin were fantastic and provided excellent service to us the entire stay. Enrique was also excellent and great to us the entire stay. We liked eating at the Picante restaurant, The Italian and Hibachi. The beach was not ideal due to seaweed issue. We rarely went to the beach. The pool Was nice and spacious and the water aerobics was nice. The Spa service was really good. Overall a nice stay.

My boyfriend and I upgraded to xhale club and we didn’t get all of the amenities included in the package. We called about it and we were told one of the amenities are not included. Then we went to the front desk to ask when we’re leaving and then the receptionist said our bag ( one of the amenities) was coming but it was too late because we were leaving for our transportation to the airport. Overall, it was okay-staff is generally nice but never booking here again. I feel like I was scammed

I had a good experience overall. However, I noticed that the staff tended to give better treatment to white guests, which was disappointing. I traveled with friends from Mexico, Colombia, and the United States. In short, we often had to send the white members of our group to ask for assistance or to be heard. I'm not sure why people complain so much. We had a great experience. Is a small hotel so there is no a lot of walking to do. People complain about noise and party but there is only one wild party pool, we went to the relax one and it was fine, completely different people if you know what I mean. We didn't like the food but we where there just for a weekend getaway from Houston and not for a culinary experience. Close to the airport (20 min drive), that was important to us because we did not wanted to waist any time. The beach overall was full of seaweed but they had an area with rocks that was very clean and clear water and I enjoyed a lot.

We were very disappointed about this because our reason for travelling to the caribbean was to to swim in the ocean near the resort. The resort was too remote which made travel to nearby towns and attractions very expensive. We will not return to Breathless Riviera for these reasons.

The room was nice, but the bed was uncomfortable, hard mattress. My main issue was the restaurants within the resorts were not communicating with each other, I would call to make reservations for dinner the staff would say no need for reservations, once we arrive there the staff says you need reservations and that was multiple restaurants on site with the same issue, no communication amongst staff so frustrating. The wait time for restaurants was 1-2 hours. We ended up ordering room service, the food was always cold. The buffet was a hit or miss. Customer service was good, very nice.
The room was nice, but the bed was uncomfortable, hard mattress. My main issue was the restaurants within the resorts were not communicating with each other, I would call to make reservations for dinner the staff would say no need for reservations, once we arrive there the staff says you need reservations and that was multiple restaurants on site with the same issue, no communication amongst staff so frustrating. The wait time for restaurants was 1-2 hours. We ended up ordering room service, the food was always cold. The buffet was a hit or miss. Customer service was good, very nice.

The bar by the pool table The food could of been better other then that it was a great experience And steak house closed on Sunday was upsetting to us because we missed out Pretty much all around great experience the spa was also great

The food was average and the room service menu was very limited. The resort is a lot smaller than we were expecting. Although our room was in need of repairs, the view itself was amazing (ocean front). Overall we had a good time.

Great staff and property. Loved the location. Some of the dining was a little underwhelming but 10/10 otherwise. Habachi and Italian amazing certainly 10/10.

So much fun at the party pool everyday and the big hot jacuzzi, But there was alot of down time with nothing to do after 10 pm. Wednesday night the club was insanely fun. Friday night club was closed at 12am. We were all looking for something to do. The magic and marriage show was a lot of fun and maybe karaoke but that’s it. Need more activities. Room service food Was great, breakfast was okay all the restaurants food was excellent. Drinks We’re way too sweet they are horrible stick to shots only, mojito, beer or rum and coke
