Hotel President is conveniently located right by the old town of Sarajevo. We had a car with us and it was super easy to pull up by the hotel and the staff opened the garage for us and we were able to park. The location is awesome -- all of Sarajevo's small shops, restaurants, and bars were in walking distance, and major attractions like the two mosques and multiple museums. I'd stay again at this property.

We ended up paying in Euros at a poor exchange rate. Our booking was for three adults, yet the room had only two beds. After waiting, staff brought in a thin sponge mattress that felt more like sleeping in a camp than a 4-star hotel. A torn curtain added to the neglected feel. Cleanliness overall was below standard — the whole hotel could use a deep cleaning. Air conditioning was another problem: it worked on the first day but was shut off the next morning, and we had to ask reception to turn it back on. Morning rest was further disturbed by loud staff and maids using walkie-talkies in the hallways. Breakfast was average at best, with stale pastries — disappointing in a city known for its excellent fresh baked goods. The front desk staff were polite and helpful.

Bra plassering i gamlebyen, bare å vandre rett til alle de små kaffe barer, restauranter og shopping bodene i Bascarsija. Her er det mye historie. Var heldig og fikk parkeingsplass i kjelleren. This hotel is at perfect location when it comes to Bascarsija, Sarajevska Zicara. It is hard to locate there is no parking marked in front of the main entrance. Room was very clean and had space however bathroom shower had mold that almost 5 star hotel shouldn’t have. The staff very friendly and professional.

The property is located in the heart of the old city, walking distance to everything. The buffet breakfast is very good. The hotel has been upgraded and in very nice condition. The staff are excellent! One critic if I may - The bed, the pillows, the towels, could all us an upgrade.

The location is outstanding. Right outside the door is the old town. Rooms are huge. We stayed in a room with a balcony facing the river and lived hearing the morning and evening prayers. The downside was the hardness of the beds and the huge crowds in the breakfast room in the morning where the sound could get quite loud. Fresh juice would be better than the watery sugary version out of the machine.

This hotel is just less than a minute walk to the main area for shopping and restaurants, which was perfect! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and modern. The breakfast is also very good with plenty of options to choose from. I had a great stay here and would highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent location near the Latin Bridge and old Sarajevo shops. Room was large and clean, well stocked refrigerator, room safe, etc. Very good breakfast. Only negatives linens were scratchy and room was too warm at night, 22 C. We had to choose between being hot or listening to a lot of street noise with the window open to cool the room at night

Pros: clean room, comfortable, wonderful view, good breakfast Cons: one major negativity which is why i scored the hotel as 3 out of 5 is the wifi network! First day had many interruptions, second day it worked most of the day with intermittent disconnection. This is a major thing for me to have wifi to plan my trip and activities

The hotel didn’t live up to my expectations. The check in was way too slow. Guests were waiting but the reception continued in a really really slow pace. How hard can it be to take a copy of a passport, get the payment and leave a receipt and a key? As a Hotels.com Silver member I was supposed to get a bottle of wine. I forgot to remind them but none showed up. The AC didn’t work or they shut it off during every nights. If I pay for a room with AC, I expect to get that. The wifi also failed several times.

Alles ok, aber auch nicht viel mehr. Man hat den Eindruck, dass das Hotel die besten Zeiten schon hinter sich hat, aber es ist trotzdem nicht schmuddelig. Kann für eine Nacht empfohlen werden. Frühstück war grundsätzlich toll mit der Einschränkung, dass nur Instantkaffee inbegriffen war und für Espresso separat hätte bezahlt werden müssen.

Very convenient location right by the old town and easy to find. Rooms good. Breakfast, whilst okay, was below expectations for a four star hotel. The hot items were never more than warm. The payable airport shuttle did not exist, they just phoned for a taxi. I would be happy to stay here again.
