The hotel has no parking and you have to self park in a public parking lot about a block away and parking is $1.65 per hour. Factor this into your hotel pricing as other hotels with free self parking could be more economical for your stay. The rooms are sizable, but the bathrooms have a shower that stays open in the back as it has no sliding door and it is almost impossible to shower without getting the bathroom floor wet. The rooms are in need of upgrades - especially the bathroom.

The price of this hotel was obviously all about location, but I still don’t think it was worth it. Unfortunately this was a last minute trip and options were limited. The lobby was full of cleaning carts upon our arrival and they remained there all evening. There was no valet or free parking on site. When unplugging the iron there were sparks of electricity visible from the outlet. I’ve stayed in much nicer rooms for $400/night

Overall the hotel is nice. Rooms are nice. However my panoramic room was so noisy and loud that I could not sleep properly so I do not recommend any rooms facing Huron street. Also the sofa bed is highly insufficient and uncomfortable if you plan on using it for sleeping. I think sleeping on floor is preferable to the sofa bed. Parking is also a bit of a hassle. Breakfast was just okay.

I booked this as a last-minute trip for our family- it could accomodate all of us. I don\'t usually spend near $300 on hotel rooms. The property was nice, in a great location. The room...was ok. I thought it would be a really nice suite with a great view. It was a standard room with no view. We brought our dog because it was "pet friendly". When I arrived, I found out that this mistake would cost $100 for one night. Now, this MIGHT have been in the listing and that\'s my bad, if so. I still think $100 for a dog is excessive. I paid it anyways. The pull out was awful. Very uncomfortable, 80\'s comfort bed. The main beds were super hard. The bathroom was actually a little dated and the room lacked good cleaning. Nobody has cleaned under the bed in a good while and there were other signs of quick cleaning. Overall, a decent $150 room, but no means a $300 room. You also park offsite for a fee and walk over. The staff was very friendly. Hoping to be a booking hero here and....nope. Prob won\'t be back.

We were in Ann Arbor for a follow up Dr. appointment for my disabled son. The parking garage was quite a walk from the hotel and we had to pay. We were woke up at 3 am to the sound of our neighbors tv. I called the front desk and no one would answer. When I talked to staff in the am they encouraged me to have the included breakfast. As I was talking another staff meme we walked and laughed at what I was saying. Also the pull out couch bed was terribly uncomfortable. We will not return.

The room was extremely clean and the staff was exceptional! We visited family from California for Christmas and my wife’s birthday and the staff even took the extra effort to decorate our room for my wife and allowed me to have all of her presents delivered to the hotel for her. It was wonderful how well the helped me plan everything and took such wonderful care of us. Thank you for making it pleasant!

Went there for 2024 craft fair. Great location and staff. Only issue was refrigerator and air/heating unit was noisy at night. Also behind the door in the kitchen it was not swept so there some crumbs back there.

Rooms were what you’d expect. The lighting in the room was not working (only one of two side lights by the bed functioned) and bulbs all around were very unpleasant and harsh (giving off an interrogation room vibe vs inviting or cozy.) the cost was absolutely not worth what I was paid ($375) due to last minute need - overall it was just ok.

Great place to stay for U of M Orientation. Walking distance to the campus and fabulous restaurants just around the corner and all the way to campus. Staff was awesome and expressed they loved working there... seemed very authentic. And, if you don't want to walk, quick UBER for $6.

The walkway behind the hotel is gathering place for homeless who smoke pot, drink liquor and leave their trash. The alley next to hotel is dirty and strewn with trash. It’s definitely not safe at night.

This is a great spot to stay especially for longer term stays. It’s like an apartment and had laundry on site which came in super handy. Nice gym and pool. Nice breakfast each morning that was included. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Room was great...large and terrific views. We've stayed here before and some things need attention. Shower bars and rack were both loose. Some maintenance needed in elevators, too. But overall, it's a great place. Free breakfast is quite large and the area to eat it is very stylish. Would be nice to have some chicken or turkey bacon in the buffet.
