The air conditioner filters in the room had never been cleaned - dirty black lint fell out of it all over the bed and stained it - we had to turn it off. There were also random stains on the doonah cover. Bed was supposed to be king sized - instead we got two single beds pushed together and one was raised higher than the other, very uncomfortable. The gym and pool is accessed via a separate residential building which is pretty inconvenient, and weird for guests to be using residential facilities. Friendly staff but not enough of them, very slow service.

The hotel was in a good location, close to where we needed to be with a tram stop right out the front. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. On the Saturday afternoon my sister was in the room on her own, and the fire alarm went off. Unfortunately, the signage was not clear and she had trouble figuring out where to evacuate to. Signs for the stairs need to be clearer, and also indicate which floor to exit through (she found herself in the garage with no way to get out). I also think charging $45 to park at the hotel is a bit much considering there’s hardly any parking in the surrounding streets. When I checked in I asked to be let in to the car park, and there was no mention of the cost at the time. We had a nice enough stay but the location is the only reason I’d stay again.

Value for money was ordinary, room wasn’t serviced, beds were 2singles to make a king, making it uncomfortable, car parking is inadequate. There is a lot better motels in Melbourne for 350 a night

The hotels car park was full but lack of instructions and it is hectic traffic to stop over on the side road. Also there were only one person working during the peak hour , it took 30 mins to check in

Construction noise was really bad. Paying over $650.00 per night you would expect your room to be available at the paid for time of 2pm without excuses. Car parking(handing over your keys) and pool next door are a joke.

The ac was very dirty and couldn’t sleep with kids in the hot night. I mentioned to reception in morning he just handed a card to email them. I emailed them for partially refund but nothing heard. Poor customer service and dirty aircon.

The location of this place is amazing if you have an event At marvel stadium. The cleanliness of our room was very disappointing though. The floor hasn’t been vacuumed at all we had to get the cleaners up to do it upon arrival. There was hairs on the floor in the bathroom. And the lounges were full of stains. Very disappointing for a 5 star place.

Peppers Docklands was a beautiful place to stay. Breakfast was great the only downside of staying there was housekeeping. Everytime we left our room to do some shopping or even a walk around the area our room was never cleaned bed was never made and we had to constantly call to make up our room

The hotel was comfy and quiet, in a very co venue my place. The shower head was better than sex, seriously. The staff were friendly, however… The car park was full, so they directed us to a multi storey carpark. However, this had been demolished (cue eye roll). The carpet in the room and hallway was badly stained. The carpet in the hallway was loose, snagging in the suitcase wheels. The king sized bed we paid for was actually two single beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable.

Fantastic night at Peppers while attending a Concert at Marvel Stadium. Great location, and very comfortable hotel. Very clean, Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Great place to stay.

Great hotel with excellent access to events held at Marvel stadium. Rooms were large. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and had a good range of food options. Only downside was that we couldn’t watch AFL on the TV as they have removed that channel. Weird decision considering Melbourne is the home of the AFL.

A good location for transportation with tram, train and Sky Bus options. All were only a few minutes' walk away. Marvel Stadium was very close. The room, however, was extremely basic and had a view of a triangular roof with the other side of a building, blocking any real sunlight or life in general- more like a prison cell. There were no USB ports, no water bottles supplied or on the room service list. The room was clean though and very quiet. The restaurant does not cater for evening meals. Fortunately, there were some nice restaurants available within walking distance. Just not good enough for the price paid.

My stay was excellent. I was in Melbourne for a footy game. Docklands was literally right next to Marvel Stadium. You walk out the door and you are looking at Gate 7. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Good hotel location for the Southern Cross Station and the nearby Docklands restaurants - easy walking distance! However, we thought the hotel had a daily restaurant, but it is only open for breakfast on weekends! Found the hotel quite clean, but there are little amenities in the rooms - only a container of milk in the fridge, no microwave, very few coat hangers! The room itself is excellent though and we loved the spacious shower! I would indeed consider staying here again!

There are no dining facilities - only minibar if you order through an app but only very limited packet stuff available. No restaurants or bars around Staff not interested in being helpful - takes them ages to checkin and out. Seem to spend inordinate amount of time on keyboard! Very disappointed.

Very easy for the concert as right next to the stadium, also from interstate so bus terminal only 10 minute walk. Breakfast was lovely with good variety. Room was nice and clean and amenities good

This unfortunately missed the mark as a 5 star hotel. Only parking is $45 valet. No self park unless you want Wilson's a fair walk away. Rooms are average.Bed average. TV channels average. View less than average and a 5 star hotel using 1 ply toilet paper?? No food on-site at all. Not for me again

Firstly staff were great and room was clean and functional but basically that is where the good stuff ends, no parking facilities available so forced to park offsite, view from room terrible, no explanation of how anything electronic works for room, poor quality breakfast, poor drink selection at the bar and couldn't find anything that looked like the picture on my left.
