Hotel was great. Good location. Nice quiet and modern rooms. The pool looks awesome in the photos, but is very dirty with heaps of green algae (doesn't look like it has been cleaned for a year or so), and there are loads of annoying pigeons on the rooftop that make what should be a really nice area rather unenjoyable.

Check-in war extrem langsam, nervend, belehrend, Unterschriften für mehrere Formulare, dafür kein Begrüßungsgetränk. Die Dame wollte zusätzlich 160 USD im voraus für möglicherweise anfallenden Getränke/Speisenkonsum abbuchen. Ggf könne man ja rücküberweisen!? Zimmer dunkel, nahezu kein Tageslicht, abgewohnt (lockere Türdichtungen, lockerer Toilettendeckel), nicht sonderlich sauber (fleckiger Vorhang). Die Flure sind vollständig offen. Laute Stimmen, Rollkoffer, Türschlagen, Schuhgeklapper, Putzdienst, Stadtgeräusche, Taubendreck über acht Stockwerke. Pool, Dachterrasse sind spektakulär, Liegen sind bequem, Taubendreck am Poolrand / im Wasser ist unappetitlich. Bar/Restaurant stilvoll, aber ständig leer, könnte an den Preisen liegt, zB Tomahawk-Steak für 175 USD. Unangenehm, abends ist das Hotel zufuß nur zwischen dutzenden laut rufender Bardamen links/rechts der Straße erreichbar. Wer das nicht möchte, muß für die 250 Meter vom Fluß her ein Taxi nehmen. Die Gegend ist insgesamt ziemlich runtergekommen. Die hippen Lokale sind eher in der Gegend Independent Monument.

Nice hotel ideal for those wanting to be in the centre of town near to all the bars and restaurants. Nice large spacious room and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was fine and ended at 10.30 am. Limited sun beds by roof top pool but nice seating area to get a bit of breeze enjoy the view and have a beer. Happy hours 4-7 pm half price beer.

Overall, the hotel is nice. The front desk staff was very welcoming and pleasant. It’s in a busier area so it can definitely be loud. We didn’t mind and it was close to places we enjoyed going, but if you’re looking for something quiet, this isn’t it. The reason for the poor review, our money was stolen out of the safe. We checked out and left in a hurry to catch a bus to our next destination. We realized it and came back within 30 min of checking out. They let me back in the room and when I went to put in my code, it kept saying there was an error which I thought was weird, but again I was in a rush. Someone from maintenance came in and opened the safe and I grabbed my bag and left. When I got in the bus, I opened my bag and saw all my money was gone. I was upset and wasn’t expecting to get it back, but wanted to bring it to their attention. The manager showed us security footage of a staff member going into our room within the 30 min time frame we were gone, but said it couldn’t be him cause he’s been working there a couple years. Then proceeded to tell me I must’ve went to a massage parlor and had it stolen else where. He then asked me why I would keep my money in a safe, as if that’s not what a safe is for. We also had left a tip for the maids and I noticed that the money we left on the counter was gone, yet the video never showed maids going into clean the room, just that one guy. Anyhow, if you decide to stay here, just keep your valuables in a locked suitcase.

Hotel is in PERFECT location. In the center of nightlife, you have restaurants, bars, nighclubs, 7-11, and everything else rught there. Markets, ATMs, banks, ... You can party all night and day, or go walk by the river on promenade, catch a tuk-tuk to take you to other places. Pool was great, on top of hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. It’s in a great location as you can walk to a lot of sight seeing locations and markets. At night, with a lot of bars on the street, there was a lot of activity… some good , some not so good. Overall, nice hotel with great service!
