The whole building was beautiful, relaxing (4 fireplaces in the main building plus the one in our room), and unique. Many old items and unique items on the walls and all around. Beautiful floors and woodwork.

Very secure. Entry code. Key was waiting for us. Each room had a name instead of a number. Our room was a fishing theme. Great decorations but thems had dust built up on some of the items. The room itself was clean.

The lodge and grounds are beautiful. The staff took excellent care of us. Breakfast each day was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the Washington room and enjoyed the in-room spa tub and private balcony overlooking the trail and patio. We were celebrating an anniversary, so the feeling of privacy was definitely nice to have. The only less-than-perfect thing was the sound of traffic coming from I-55. The lodge itself, the views from our room and even the parking lot made us forget we were in the city, so hearing traffic was a bit surprising! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. Side note: Something I did not see anywhere when making our reservation, was that while there is an elevator, it does not go to the third floor. As an older couple with hip and knee issues, we did just fine, but if you absolutely cannot do stairs, please check with the lodge first to make sure your room is on the second floor. You don't want to miss staying here because of one flight of stairs!

Great place! Check in directions were super easy. Very quiet. Theme rooms are nice. Ours had a sliding door to a balcony overlooking the yard and woods. Made to order breakfast was phenomenal and included in the price. Checkout was easy. I would definitely stay again.

Property is on a no outlet road, making it safe. House is really unique, nice rooms, just a couple things that I brought to managements attention, nothing that would stop us from staying there. Good breakfast in the morning, eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast fresh fruit, waffles, juice..good!

The property was beautiful, the room was very clean, the staff was very friendly. But it was anything but quiet. I was well aware that it was a wedding venue but I also was not aware that the rooms were right outside the door of the party room. Saturday night a beautiful wedding and we heard everything that went on. It was not a peaceful romantic evening which is what I was wanting. I would gladly go back any night except a wedding night. I think that's something they should have disclosed, their wedding calendar and that you will be hearing all of it. The music shook the room. The only good thing was it was over at 10:00 p.m. but that's way past my bedtime. LOL

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We like to bike ride and you can access the Grant trail right off of the parking lot. This place is a beautiful log home with themed rooms - we stayed in the Frontier room. The decor was really cool with rawhide curtains and tables, a beautiful log crafted bed and a fireplace. The room was very comfortable. In the morning, we were treated to amazing breakfasts prepared for us that included potatoes, an omelete, bacon, fresh fruits, coffee, fresh orange juice and sausage. I would highly recommend this place whether you bike ride or not. Its a comfortable, memorable stay.

This B&B is top notch! There is plenty of space to just be, whether indoor or out. Love the lounges and seating throughout, love the balconies and patio, indoor fireplaces, outdoor fire pit, patio swing, even the doe and fawn on the grounds - which tells just how peaceful this place is. Breakfast is deliciously made to order, with chef's choices earning true sighs of delight from both of us.

The rooms were clean. Our room needs a little TLC as it had some small dents in the wall. But the room had very nice ambience. Also, your only pillow choices are "Memory Foam" pillows which were incredibly firm. I am not a memory foam pillow sleeper, and so it felt like I was sleeping on a "brick" all night. It would be nice if the inn offered at least 1 or 2 pillows that were not memory foam.

We loved our short stay at this cozy bed and breakfast. Self check in was easy. Our room was spotless and felt clean. Ice, water and sodas were available at no charge. The breakfast was delicious and generous! I would love to stay here again.

This was our 2nd stay here in recent years. It is a very unique property with lodge like feel. This time we stayed in one of the basic rooms and found it very small and warm. We should have turned the AC on. The rooms are starting to show some wear. Breakfast is excellent, cooked to order. The bread/toast and muffins were on a separate table but we didn't realize till we were leaving. If you want a unique stay, consider this property but try one of the larger suites. Not a lot of dinner options very near but the setting is very nice for a fairly urban area.

I don’t even know where to begin talking about how amazing the Lodge at Grant’s Trail is! It was very easy to access our room when we arrived, and we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the lodge. The safari room was very comfortable, and the pillows were some of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on. Breakfast was a feast. I cannot recommend this place too highly.

The Lodge was a great choice for our overnight stay in St Louis. Beautifully appointed, quiet and safe. The staff was amazing and accommodating, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We look forward to coming back and spending more time at this wonderful B&B

Check in was extremely easy, the room was so cute, clean and quiet, the atmosphere was incredible and the breakfast was so delicious. It was the prefect weekend getaway for my husband and myself. We’ve never stayed at a bed and breakfast and now we are already planning our next trip here. We loved every thing about this place and would highly recommend it.

The Lodge has been our first choice when we need to stay overnight for my spouse's medical appointments in St. Louis. It's proximity to I-55 makes it easy to locate. The property is amazing both inside and outside. We have been fortunate have Clark on several of our visits and he always gives us excellent service.

Overall good experience. Only person from lodge we saw was Vicki, the breakfast hostess, who was great. Breakfast was outstanding. If I were to stay again I would stay on the opposite side from interstate. Very noisy, hard to sleep. Great place for small gathering or event, not so great for restful getaway.

The Lodge has been our first choice when we need to stay overnight for my spouse's medical appointments in St. Louis. It's proximity to I-55 makes it easy to locate. The property is amazing both inside and outside. We have been fortunate have Clark on several of our visits and he always gives us excellent service.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We like to bike ride and you can access the Grant trail right off of the parking lot. This place is a beautiful log home with themed rooms - we stayed in the Frontier room. The decor was really cool with rawhide curtains and tables, a beautiful log crafted bed and a fireplace. The room was very comfortable. In the morning, we were treated to amazing breakfasts prepared for us that included potatoes, an omelete, bacon, fresh fruits, coffee, fresh orange juice and sausage. I would highly recommend this place whether you bike ride or not. Its a comfortable, memorable stay.

Such a wonderful place. It is a lovely log cabin decorated as such. Each room is decorated different. The best part was the resident manager Vicki who was so nice and friendly and fixed us an amazing breakfast! It’s in a nice and safe location. Will stay there again when in St Louis.

This is basically a bed and breakfast, and it was good! Check the email you use for this app, because I didn't know until after we arrived that they had sent us info for contactless check in. Everything was smooth, and we had a delicious breakfast despite our failing to let them know what time we'd be downstairs for it as they requested in their email. Room was very clean and comfortable. Only item I would add is a black out curtain for the sliding door. Nice to have access to beverages and next time I hope to enjoy the breakfast as I had to leave early.
