The parking is awful and one night the manager actually came running out telling us to park in a different spot. The next night our truck had the back window busted out and I saw a couple of other places in the parking lot with auto glass on the ground.

San Antonio was at or near 100 degrees for our entire stay. The hotel lists a pool as part of their amenities but the pool was filthy and not usable. Members of my party were very disappointed by this. The bed frame had sharp hooks that protruded from the sides and scratched our shins and the mattress wobbled because it didn’t fit the frame properly. The bathroom was adequately clean. All that said, we will not be back.

The stay at this hotel was adequate. Internet was outstanding for a hotel. Location was convenient to the highway but not to any good quality restaurants or nearby amenities, unless you are looking to stay close to a truck stop. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate to good. The only downside of this hotel was the conditions in the rooms. First room had a quick leak from the ceiling sprinkler head - not sure how it was missed if the room was just cleaned. Anyway, they changed our room within 5 minutes and the second one was adequate for the stay. While the room was clean it did not smell pleasant. There was a moldy smell to the room and the bathroom smelled like a sewer. Everything worked mind you, just the smells were not good. AC was functional if noisy and the TV was good.

Staff were friendly and accomdating, Lobby great, cleanliness great, room well prepared, good breakfast. The room lighting was too low.This may be a defect in engineering, or light bulbs were to low wattage. Add some lamps as well. Business printer did not have a ready cartridge, so print requests had to go to front desk. NOT GOOD. Room was quiet. Good value, but fix the lighting.

You get what you pay for. The hotel is behind a semi-truck stop, so a lot of truckers stay here. Trucks line both sides of the street that leads to the hotel, and the frequent large vehicle traffic along the street have created some nasty potholes. Aside from that, the stay was fine. Our room was definitely not cleaned upon arrival. There was visible trash, dirt, and hair all over the sheets, and the room had a very unpleasant odor. I asked to be moved to a different room, but I was told there were no other rooms available. The front desk attendant kindly came to change the sheets, but while I waited in the lobby, I noticed about five other guests arriving to check in with no one available to assist them — it was clear the hotel was short-staffed. Before leaving, I attempted to take a shower, only to discover that the hot water wasn’t working. At that point, I decided to book another hotel. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Would not stay here ever again there was no washclothes in the bathroom. I called the front desk and I had to go down stairs to ge them instead of the front desk bringing them to me. The sheets on one bed was dirty. There was something sharp on the floor instepowd on. Pubic hairs in the shower.

I’ve stayed here before and thought it was fine back then, so I rebooked. Checkin was quick and no problem. Stayed on 2nd floor and there has to be something wrong with the A/C. The hallway was really hot and humid. My room was cooler but still very humid. The bed and linens felt damp to touch. Hair in the bed and it wasn’t mine. Vomit or blood looking specs on the faucet.

The TV remote batteries were dead. A small dirty towel was left on the shower bar. Shower doesn't work properly. 50% comes out of the shower head, the rest comes out from the faucet. We have stayed here every year on the way to the Rio Grande Valley. Have not experienced so many problems before. The breakfast was good though.

This hotel was positively luxurious. We're traveling through and spent the previous night at an icky motel6. What a difference! The bed was super comfy, clean room and very spacious. It was sheer heaven! Easy on and off to the highway.

I was very disappointed this time around, since I’ve stayed at this hotel several times while traveling to San Antonio. Although the front desk staff was very pleasant and nice, we had issues with breakfast time. Came downstairs at 8am, nothing was available, no eggs or meat, trays were empty !!! Came back down at 8:30 and same thing. We eventually just went to ihop for breakfast. Very disappointing when you paying $130 a night. Didn’t have a working TV in our room. We were only able to catch one channel the entire time we were there , on the first night front desk staff was nice enough to come upstairs to try to fix the TV but the problem continued, and we eventually just gave up on it. Hotel was clean and quiet as always.

Bed was comfortable and the room was not noisy at all. Staff was very helpful and breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold choices. The Texas shaped waffles were really tasty. I forgot a charger in my room and called the front desk to pick it up on my way back through. They had it waiting for me when I returned.

Well, I reserved a King suite. I checked in and went to my room only to find it was just regular double bed room. I went back to the front desk to explain the error. I was told there were no more King suites but there would not be a extra charge. I wouldn't think so since I had already prepaid for a King suite and downgraded to a regular double bed room. My room had 3 decafs and only had 1 regular. April did promptly bring me extra regular coffees. For some reason my refrigerator decided to defrost itself in the middle of the night so I woke water all over the floor. Also there was no blow dryer in the room.

Mid at best. Last minute booking for an extended night in San Antonio. No good breakfast. Receptionist wasn’t nice or informative at all during check in or out. Fire alarm went off super early in the morning and staff gave NO explanation on safety, reasoning, information or if it was even safe to return back to our rooms. Guests were even waiting at front desk after for questioning and all staff had was a sign that said “away for a while call this number” called number . No answer. Questioned the cleanliness of our hotel room. Hotel smelled musty and hot . Only good thing we liked was our hotel room AC ( room only). Depending on your type of stay, if it’s a nice family trip with kids and enjoy comfortable/ eco friendly stay this is not the place to stay. Rather spend a couple extra bucks else where.

The hotel is near a sewer plant so every time the wind blows, you smell a disgusting smell. The hotel over booked for the night we stayed and had booked a family into my room at midnight were me and my 9 month old baby were in bed already. When going downstairs to express how unprofessional this was, the lady then stated it was a computer issue. This is also an issue considering we have to give our personal information such and drivers licenses , credit card information and things as such. When asking to speak to a manger for a refund just for the one night of two that I booked I did not hear anything back from them. And still have not till this day. It has been a week!

someone attempted to enter my room 3 times. Last time, they gained enter. The safety door stop and myself stopped the intruder. I called police, which front desk turned them away. Front desk did not notify our room, that they mistakenly gave access to our room. Hotel staff was mad that I called police. I felt this was a unsafe hotel, so we informed them we would be leaving and asked for refund of the balance of the nights I paid for, they refused. We left that unsafe hotel.

The staff was wonderful but that was the only positive. This area (apparently the town) smells like horse manure! The locals said it’s normal - I almost got sick from it! The best was wildly uncomfortable. The pillows were so flat it felt like I was sleeping on the floor! The water for the shower felt so slimy. It honestly made me feel like I wasn’t getting cleaned. There also was limited dining options. You have to go into San Antonio for multiple options which is 20 minutes away. Breakfast was nasty; the biscuits were undercooked. The options were so disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless it’s your last option.

Road to hotel is blocked at times with truckers, and road is badly damaged with pot holes. Room was not properly cleaned. Remotes and walls had sticky substances. Ac is broken and room gets overly humid to the point that the sheets are wet and smell of old moister. Please avoid.

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It works well for us when attending events at the Frost Center. Easy in/out. Staff is pleasant and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety.

The hotel stay was above expectations. From the cleanliness to the food to the attentive staff, everything was great from the moment my family and I walked in. The bedrooms are kept clean and very cozy. Breakfast was great and diverse and the hotel was within driving distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

The price is okay as per the location since, it’s lil far from the city. They need to work on the cleanliness the most. Bed sheets had some stains and the carpet felt greasy. Breakfast would be better if they’d add some options for vegetarians as well.

We stayed eight days while on vacation. We really enyoyed the breakfasts. They provide refried beans and tortillas on multiple days along with eggs, hashbrowns, and waffles. Every one was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and fixtures in good repair. The kitchenette with a fridge and microwave was great for preparing simple meals when we didn't want to go out. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit family in the area!

We enjoyed our stay except, the staff turns everything off in the kitchen too early. The signs say breakfast last until 10:00 on weekends. The staff turns everything off at 9:00. I saw several people arrive in the breakfast room around 9:30 and weren’t able to make themselves pancakes because the machine was turned off & also the juice dispenser was shut off by 9:00.
