The hotel is brilliantly situated for everything. Two gripes; the parking is ridiculously expensive $80 a night The lifts are awful, you have to queue forever and you have to use the lift selected for you, there are 6 lifts surely you should be able to use which one you would like.

Hotel is in one of the best locations in downtown Chicago, fantastic views of the city, riverwalk, opposite the Wrigley Building. Amazing roof top bar which as a guest there was front of queue entry. Rooms were serviced every day, lovely comfortable large bed, nespresso coffee machine, magnifying mirror (a must for makeup!!) good shower, everything you need. Can’t comment on food as we didn’t eat here. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if visiting Chicago, we walked everywhere as we like to see everything and the position is very central to all the tourist attractions, bang opposite the main riverboat excursions, we used the ‘L’ once for Wrigley Field.

The LondonHouse is my go-to stay for when I’m in Chicago. Be sure to book the Vista Room for floor to ceiling views of Chicago. Located right on the Chicago River and Michigan Ave, it’s convenient to nearly everything! They are a top tier hotel with amazing amenities. The rooftop bar has the best views of Chicago. The spa is delightful. The food is amazing. Everything about this hotel is PERFECT.

We had a fantastic stay. Staff from front door to cleaning to lobby bar were very accommodating. Only wish the ‘business center’ was in a more private setting. It’s in the lobby with a lot of people traffic and noise.

was very disappointed very dirty kinda like fake luxury something about it was just off the room was completely different than in the pictures and was very dirty. Very very dirty carpets had stains in them. Mystery stains literally everywhere. Everywhere mystery stains not one spot didn’t have a mystery stain that was stains on the carpet stains on the shelves stains on the sofas. There’s a lot of broken stuff and what do you mean eight dollars for a water they couldn’t even give us a complementary water. and did I mention stains

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the London house, we got in very late but the check in process was so smooth and easy, I’ve been to a lot of hotels and they don’t come in everyday to change linen etc, our room is as clean from the first day up until we left, there was no noise despite being downtown!! I would highly recommend and our flight was also late but they allowed us to keep our bags while we toured the city.10/10 recommend

Ricky at the front desk was very approachable and nice, the room was clean and cozy, except the carpet needed cleaning too many stains around the bed and no information for the hotels restaurant, room service (besides breakfast), or pool in the room. The waitstaff in the hotels “21st floor” bar were attentive and polite, the food was good had the chicken skewers. No housekeeping knocking during check out. And the area is super convenient overall would stay again.

For the price, great location and views. We were able to walk to shopping, attractions, and restaurants. It’s a very beautiful hotel with a popular rooftop. Our room was spacious. My only complaint was the street noise. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. You have to pay for water bottles that are provided in the room but you can ask for water at the front desk.

This is our 6th or 7th time staying here. I we proposed here and we even had all our family stay here during my wedding time. This will be our last tho. It’s definitely not same. Our room was ok. But it was sooo noisy. All night long we heard sirens, and noises, both day and night. Clearly the hotel has done nothing about getting better windows or upgrading in this regard. The hotel also felt just trashy compared to the past. Check in was fine and that’s about it. Even the roof top seemed like it needed an upgrade. Although the food at the rooftop was very good. Just overall had two sleepless nights, and nothing impressive anymore. I am sad because this was “our” place and we always recommended it to everyone. My sister in another room by an elevator said the same thing. It was super noisy. And the elevators took forever to come or were always packed. :(

The room had nice furniture (true to the site) and was clean. Unfortunately the remote controls for both of the TVs didnt work. There was only one untinted mirror and it is in the bathroom. So no place to sit and get cute ladies!! It was nice to have a fridge, though. The view was not great. Despite being a “suite;” it is a suite in name only in that the room has a separate living area. The pull out bed was unmade and we had to take half the sheets off of the regular bed to use on the pullout. The initial front desk staff completely ignored us and served another guest despite us waiting at the desk for at least 5min. Thankfully, another team member saved the day and got us checked in. The front desk staff could be much more personable and acvomodating. It would’ve been nice to have been offered something for our trouble. The valet and bellman were lovely but the valet fees are a bit high ($80/night). Definitely NOT worth the $730/night. I wish I thought it was as lovely as everyone said it was on TikTok, but alas.

This hotel is a very busy and noisy one and because of the outside traffic for its rooftop is more geared for younger guests. Young motorcyclists were playing with their very loud motorcycles outside the hotel all night long and wouldn’t leave. It was very hard to fall asleep.

Pros: Really comfortable beds clean rooms (lots of space we booked a suite) The best bellman of any hotel I've ever been to. Good room service food and the room service staff were really nice (shout out to Nelson) Location is walkable to a lot of things Cons: Front desk staff were very hit or miss. Our room was not as described on the hotels.com website and the front desk took no ownership of this. It's their partnership. Our room did not have the pictured desks and the internet did not work at all (we were there for work) They moved our rooms to which the internet barely worked there but we didn't want to have to move again. I was grateful to Erica who took over our case in the front desk. Our first night we wanted to grab food and the server in the lobby Michelle was super rude to us, we were very grateful when Jack took over he was so nice. One thing is the soundproofing on the building is awful good luck getting a good nights rest. It sounds like sirens are in your ears every 10 minutes and there is a loud take off from the train. It was actually crazy how loud it was I have never experienced a hotel or even an apartment like this in my life.

The hotel itself was really nice, and the location couldn’t be better! The rooftop patio bar was great — beautiful views and a fun vibe. The only downside was the inside bar. The staff there just didn’t seem to care much. My husband ordered a salad with grilled chicken, but the chicken was completely burned. When he asked for it to be redone, the server said she could just “take the chicken back,” which didn’t make sense because the salad would be ruined by the time it came back out. It just wasn’t handled very well. Overall, a nice place with a lot of potential — they just need to work on service and kitchen consistency.

I recently stayed in at The London House in Chicago while work was being done on my primary residence. I booked their Presidential Suite which I was told was the nicest room on the property. The room itself was very large and quite lovely. When I spoke with them on the phone I stated that we’d be checking in late and we would still want to order room service. Our check in was a little after and I was told that room service would be available to order until 10:45pm. When I called room service 10:30 it went to their voicemail response that said something like there is a high volume of calls leave a name and room number and we will call you back shortly. I left a message. After not hearing back I called again- and again the same automated message. So I called the front desk who placed me on hold to try to transfer me. They later came back on and told me that they weren’t able to get a hold of them and proceeded to recommend take out options near me. All things said and done (I.e. parking, late checkout, ect..) our night in the “Presidential Suite” came out to around $1,000. At that price the service should’ve been exception. The linens were also not very comfortable and the bad lacked a traditional comforter and instead had some sort of furr throw.

Thank you to everyone at this amazing hotel who made our visit special. The gentleman who checked us was very nice. Special shout out to the concierge specialist, Mary who made our stay extra special. I was traveling with my two young daughters and she recommended some great activities for us to do. It did not stopped there, Mary took the time to learn my two daughter’s names and sent a special note to our room for them. It really added a special touch and really made them happy.

We liked the view and the location. With our second visit here the front desk check-in gentleman was not as warm and friendly as other staff have been. We always have a great experience with the valet (they are helpful in finding transportation) and the luggage handlers were very accommodating. Our room was cleaned very well after the very first day.

Bellhops were extremely professional, helpful, fun and courteous. The Rooftop & main bar (female) bartenders were tireless, friendly, outgoing, and on top of their profession! Check-in went fairly smooth: we arrived early & as expected, our room wasn’t ready. We were offered a better room with immediate occupancy for $100 more a night. We declined. Friends that had also booked at the time we did, accepted an “upgrade” at a $75 more a night offer. Their room was no different from ours, yet they paid a great deal more to have immediate occupancy. So, perhaps, “buyer beware?” During our 6 day stay, I heard the same “upgrade” offer (made repeatedly to several guests). Maybe the upgrades were truly upgrades, but not so with our friends. The “push” Made me question Hilton’s professionalism.

Every time I book a room with river view through Expedia, the front desk always refuse to acknowledge, and ask me to upgrade for a room with river view, I don’t know if it’s Expedia or the hotel’s fault, but it’s truly ridiculous, the rooftop bar service is always unpredictable, they have empty tables but won’t take any walkins, whether you have a room with them or not, they let everyone in but won’t give you any tables, the management is just incompetent

This would have been a great stay but the culinary experience at LondonHouse made it terrible. We booked 2 rooms for the first night of the Cowboy Carter concert in Chicago. We ordered l food before the concert on the second floor lounge, all the food came in boxes and the order was wrong. There was no attempt to correct the order other than serving additional drinks we didn’t want. The next day we tried again to utilize one of the site restaurants, the LH Rooftop. We were seated, then waited over 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. We were the only guests seated inside the restaurant so the wait was unwarranted. A member of our party left to requested a manager who said they wound be sending someone over. We waited another ten minutes before leaving. As we were walking to the door, the assigned waitperson was rude and confrontational. What should have been a fun weekend in the city turned into an expensive and uncomfortable endeavor. I expected more from a premier Hilton located in such a bustling area in Chicago.

Very nice hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago. Walkable to many attractions, including Art Institute, the Bean at Millennium Park. Bus stop for public transportation across the street (to Field, Adler and Shedd Museums). HOHO bus stop across the street. Riverwalk entrance across the street. Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff very nice and accommodating. Best rooftop bar for views of the city.

Great hotel & staff! Clean, easy check in/out. It’s in a great location so you can walk to a lot of spots. My only thing is you hear a lot of sirens and boat horns but as someone who is a light sleeper I didn’t have an issue but just fyi for your kiddos and those day naps. My room was on the 16th floor with a partial river/city view. The rooftop bar was nice for drinks and view. The food was…let’s just say go explore those food options in the city! Overall, I would definitely stay again!

I flew in for a quick weekend getaway and absolutely loved the views from my room! The hotel’s location was perfect—right in the heart of downtown Chicago and close to everything. I’d definitely stay here again. I also really enjoyed breakfast at Land & Lake and had an amazing date night at Ocean Prime.

We recently stayed at the hotel and had an unpleasant experience with the breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Upon check-in, we were not provided with any clear information about how breakfast is handled. We had to figure it out ourselves. It turned out that we were given breakfast vouchers covering $20 per person. However, when we went to the restaurant, the staff did not explain how the voucher system worked. Beautiful hotel right on the river. Perfectly located to walk to shops, restaurants, and top sites of downtown Chicago. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would recommend you eat outside the hotel. The food was expensive and just average. I would stay here again if ever back in Chicago.
