No ice machine or ice in general to have a drink ! If anything ice is a fundamental necessity ! Forget the tv and the rest of it ! Nice to have a coffee machine and microwave because restaurants were non existent close to the motel! But ice is very important to us !

The owners are very friendly and offered lots of great advice for siteseeing in the town. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. There are chairs and a table outside the rooms as well as a very comfortable lounge area at the end of the motel. There is a barbecue and picnic table in the lounge and additional seating beneath the beautiful willow tree.

We had a great stay at my friends inn. It’s located on a very quiet street, with a park-like feel. There’s a tree in the front with a picnic bench and 2 Adirondack chairs that we could use for meals, reading etc… The room had a microwave, a keurig machine and a kettle with coffee pods and coffee mate. We could park right outside our room.

There was a strong chemical smell from cleaning products (I have allergies), the bathroom window didn’t open to air it out and the bedroom window had to be propped up by a piece of wood to stay open. Some cobwebs above the bed. Service was great and the patio was nice but it rained so we didn’t get to use it.

Property was very clean and safe. The owner and staff very kind and friendly. However what I didn't like was very strong scent of air freshner when I moved in. I had to open windws, door and run the celing fan for longer time to get rid of the smell. Somebody can be alergic for different air fresheners The price was very high $195 with taxes per night.

The room was decent and clean. The air conditioner was old, loud and making noise. Disturbing. The shower went from a set temperature showering to suddenly boiling hot making me scream. The beds were not that comfortable we felt and I didn’t like the microfibre sheets. They dont feel good against the skin.The room had a strong scent of something which was a bit overwhelming. Some fragrance smell. Overall the room was clean, nice sitting area outside. Fairly quiet.

Room was fine. Staff was terrible. I went to the office for ice at 7:55pm and was yelled at saying “NO! The office closes at 8:00pm. Go to the convenience store and buy ice but the store will be closed too.” No sign on the door saying when the office closes and nothing on the website.

Very clean and very quite. Betty Ann was amazing! She even helped us have the best experience with the Island, like a tour guy. Thanks to her, we had a map and visited all the best places in the Island very easily. Definately, all shouls visit the Island and stay at Myfriend Inn.

The host Betty Ann was extremely welcoming and was able to tell you about points of interest on the island. I travelled over 300 kms by car and took the Chicheemaun just to meet some one from a local town. His brother is married to my sister. What a small world. The patio areas at the sides of the property are superb. I would highly recommend My Friends Inn. The location is excellent! About halfway between South Baymouth and Little Current and is located with a small beach.

Clean, comfortable and the host was super friendly. Totally walkable within Manitowaning, though the options within town (especially for little kids) are somewhat limited. Would definitely stay again though.

We were presently surprised at how nice this inn was to visit. The lady who greeted us at the reception desk was lovely. She told us all about the area and what to see. The location was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was places to eat near by. We grabbed a few groceries on the way so we could microwave food in the room when we arrived but had to travel 20-30 minutes for dinner.

We arrived after a full day of driving. The owner was welcoming and the space was peaceful. We sat under a willow tree in the yard and relaxed. Be aware that restaurants are not open on Monday and Tuesday nights (at least not in September). We got to the grocery store just before it closed a 6. Loved walking along the harbour in the early morning. Pretty and peaceful.
