Beautiful, historic resort first established in 1926 in Indio. Individual casitas are grouped around their own private swimming pools (namded after Hollywood royalty ... mine was Bacall!). Service is friendly & attentive. Family friendly. Plenty of recreational opportunities onsite (tennis, pickleball, gym, exercise & wellness classes etc).The grounds are wonderful to just roam around on, early morning. Wonderful stay while attending Stagecoach.

Could not check in at designated time. Tried at 5pm (check in listed at 4). Was told room not ready and I’d be texted. No one had contacted me at 630, so I called. Got a room. Tried to get mobile key through app and that didn’t work. Called prior to making reservation to ask about EV charging and was told they have. Got there and found out it’s a bring your own cord situation, so (after not being able to check into the hotel for a couple hours) I lost another 2 hours of our short overnight trip because we had to drive to Indio, use a supercharger and drive back. On a side note, the outlet I used to charge my phone overnight also didn’t work.

Overall really enjoyed our stay. Only disappointment was when we went to 21 pool and it was being renovated. We were not told at check in . Property has lots of pools and would have been nice for them to designate a different one during renovations.

This is a beautiful property. There are 41 climate controlled pools on site. The spa villa room we stayed in was spacious yet cozy. The restaurants were delicious. I went to yoga one morning and was so happy to have a place to practice.

Hotel doesnt have poolside bars anywhere. Actually it does. The one pool with a bar, Which we had to walk across the entire property to in 116 degree heat, was closed. I texted help line they kept telling me there was a bar until i sent them a photo of the closed bar. Had to keep bugging staff to get someone out to take a drink order. Food was alright def not great. Room was nice. Pools were dirty had a lot of bugs. Guests had personal speakers out there by the pool no one stopping them, annoying.

We came on the weekday in June. Must be a slow season/time. No pool side food/drinks at main pool. They run out of towels in smaller pool. It didn’t look they had enough staff to put more towels etc. otherwise ground is pretty and fun to walk around at night. Our room was clean and cozy.

This place used to be clean and pretty. This time the patio furniture had food and dirty nothing was very clean. There was no full length mirror in my room either. How am I supposed to get ready for an event in a room with no full length mirror? I spent 11,000 dollars on a dinner at the 26 to stay in a room that was not very clean and had a bunch of tissue stuck in the air vent. We had to stand ON a chair to try and get it out of the vent. Also the valet guy with the cop glasses was a dick.

There was a cockroach in the bathroom. It was next to the toilet then next to the shower. The bathroom is old and needs remodeling. I’ve never experienced anything like this in a hotel. It’s a nice hotel otherwise and the room was comfortable but the cockroach experience was not fun. They only gave us $135 off from our incidentals. We paid $900 for the room. Completely overpriced for what you get. They offered to give us a discount for future stay but I don’t think I’ll go back given the cockroach.

When I got there and checked in, my room’s AC didn’t work and they moved me after about an hour but only when engineering told them too. My second room had a shower that wouldn’t drain and the porch light wouldn’t turn on. The room was clean outside of my dog finding someone’s Advil they must’ve dropped on the floor and almost swallowed it which would’ve been bad. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful and the staff was really kind but so much was wrong it such a short span of time that it was hard to relax for the first part of my trip.

We have stayed at The LaQuinta Resort many times and love being there!! It is a wonderful place to go and relax. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The landscaping is stunning and beautifully cared for. The resort is quite large but you never get the feeling that there are many people around. It always feels peaceful a quiet.

This is a great resort. Although large, it has a much smaller feel due to the number of casita clusters spread throughout the property. Lots of activities both on site like the tennis facilities, fitness centre and spa and throughout the Palm Desert area. BUT, the walls between units are paper thin and we found it difficult to get a good night sleep. We could even hear people in the next casita sneezing! For that reason, we’re not likely to return.

Well, the resort is certainly beautiful and walking around. The property was very nice. There seem to be a good amount of activities and things to do there. We paid extra and booked a Mountain View room however, the only view we had was a peekaboo view out one window across the pool. We saw many other villas with much better mountain views, which is what we thought we would get. The room certainly did need some updates in it. The showerhead was very old and sprayed all over the place. We went to dinner at the steak restaurant and waited one hour to get to our table. We had terrible service, and the food was not even worth it.

Rooms are dated a bit. Very noisy as they had a dj’ed event outside our room until 10:30 pm loud! Room backed up to the convention area and much noise from staff and workers day and night, early am banging equipment etc… One day shower didn’t get hot water. Nice sized room and nice outdoor space.

I called 3 times cause ac wasn’t working never worked room Was hot I called and nothing was done. There was a barking dog next to us. I called and not sure if they went cause dog never stopped. When I checked in I asked about the chargers for Tesla and I was charged to charge my car when I was told resort fee covers that. Bar tender at adobe was rude when asking to modify a drink. This property is gorgeous! So big, so many pools, the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are so pretty with all the tile. We stayed for Stagecoach festival because they have a shuttle, and it was SO great to be the first stop - and they had late night tacos and pizza for everyone arriving back, so smart. The staff was all so friendly, definitely 5 stars. However - we had an unfortunate check-in experience, and the two managers we interacted with were both pretty rude, both to us and to the staff that were trying to help us. We checked in early to be first on the waiting list once rooms were ready, and checked back 4 hours later when we still didn't have a room. The manager was super rude and said that they had our info and would contact us (but no info about when room would be ready). We ended up getting ready in the locker rooms because we wanted to go to the festival. When we got back super late night, we found out they have given away our room! The late-night manager was also rude and didn't have any empathy for the situation we were in - being moved twice in a 4-night stay is very unsettling. Still giving the stay 4-stars because once we were settled halfway through the trip, we had a great stay and the location was great and staff so friendly.

After 20+ years, La Quinta remains my favorite resort in the Coachella Valley. It is consistently wonderful, the property is beautiful, well maintained, the staff is very helpful, everything about the place is magical, and elegant.

La Quinta resort is pretty cool place, but it felt understaffed. We did not end up in the room we originally booked because it was not ready almost two hours after we checked in. We had to agree to something because we had dinner reservations to get ready for. I purposely booked something towards the back and we ended up in the front right on the busy street. They did grant us a late check out but then housekeeping showed up when we’re still there. The place and property is nice but staff and management just miss the mark.

Arrived at hotel 3:40 to check in for 4:00PM, which we were able to check in HOWEVER our room was NOT ready until 5:30 PM, so we had to hang around until our room was ready. We had dinner reservations at Morgans at the resor for 5:45PM, which gave us about 5 minutes to get ready. Hotel gave us a whopping $75 credit for the inconvenience. Pretty lousy service for a room I paid $454 a night for!!!

The lady at the counter was not too friendly and the whole time she was checking me in she was talking to her coworkers and made me feel very unimportant and like a second hand citizen! Not a really welcoming check in for a resort like this I mean don’t you want the guests to come back??

If you want some quiet time then this would be the place for you. The staff are exceptionaly great and helpful. Very pleasant and welcoming. If you are looking for a plase to unwind and not to venture out then this is a perfect place. BUT if you want to go around and walk during the night then this place is about 20 minutes drive to downtown Plam Springs. So just take note of that. They do have great restaurants and close to golf courses, if you are staying for a day or a couple of days then this location will fill that "vacation feeling".

Absolutely wonderful stay at La Quinta. Currently under renovations but they did well allowing guests to access other areas to ensure a great stay. Breakfast credit was useful and the Marketplace is always handy for quick meals and coffee. We will be back … soon!

We extended our stay by a day so obviously we didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t everything we wanted. Most issues were food related - it’s pricey (except the premade food at the marketplace) and not great, room service menu is very limited despite 4 restaurants on property, and ordering delivery food from off property is difficult because the drivers can’t deliver to your room, you have to meet them by the valet. Also they repaved a road while we were there, blocking our half the resort from the location of the restaurants one morning, with no instructions for how to get where we needed to go. Instructions to housekeeping and others sometimes took multiple requests, in-room coffee wasn’t refilled, dirty glasses not replaced, those little touches that make you feel “taken care of” were not there. But the room was lovely, bathtub was big and deep, fireplace worked and the pools were great.

40th birthday surprise trip for my boyfriend and New Year’s all rolled into one fabulously planned trip, that ended up with food poisoning and hospital stay. I was so excited about this 5 day trip, it’s just so unfortunate that it did not go well. Words of advice…don’t eat at the restaurants.

This is such a special property. The rooms are so comfortable and smartly designed. So many pools to swim in! Three excellent restaurants with an incredible variety of choices from morning eggs and coffee to evening steaks and wine. And there’s the coolest Market for smoothies and coffees and pizzas and gelatos created and served by a really nice group of ladies. I like the fitness center too.

I have been going to La Quinta for 50 years, and I've always loved it. But this trip, I found the hotel has grown in rooms and (small) swimming pools, but it hasn't equally grown restaurants and coffee shops to accommodate all the guests. El Adobe was crowded and loud at night, and in the morning, guests had to stand in line for up to 30 minutes to get breakfast items and coffee at the "Marketplace." The hotel should add dining outlets!!!

Love this resort and would stay again. The grounds are stunning with the desert backdrop and the old Spanish mission-style buildings are wonderful. Super friendly staff and great pools around the casitas. The only downside was some of the food. Good: Morgan's food very good and an incredible atmosphere. The coffee shop was perfect in the am. The bar (and bartender) at Twenty6 restaurant was really good. Just OK: Thought the Mexican food at Adobe Grill was bland and the breakfast at Twenty6 just OK. Overall, I'd return and hope the food options get better.

Everyone is helpful and friendly beginning with the check in staff, bell hop transporting us to and from out casita to the restaurants. The place was quiet and tranquil. Sharing a pool and jacuzzi with a few casitas is wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality!
