The rooms were big, the roof top terrace is great for drinks and tapas, the pool is disappointing as it’s only around 2ft deep so more of a plunge pool not a swim pool. Good location, we got stuck in the lift for half an hour and tbh it was horrific especially as I’m claustrophobic and it was very hot in there.

Wonderful hotel, well-located (could walk to many places of interest); spacious, comfortable room with nice amenities; excellent breakfast buffet. Roof-top pool and terrace a plus, even though it was too cool to swim when we were there. Friendly, helpful staff. One thing to improve: safety bar needed in shower; shower floor was a bit slippery (needs anti-slip strips). Would stay there again.

Everything was very good. However, their elevators need replacement. There are only two of them for the entire building, they are slow, and there is often a queue in front of them from people waiting.

Stylish mid-century vibe to communal areas. Very comfy beds and good quality fittings in the rooms. Spacious roof top terrace with city views. Great location walkable to Sagrada Familia, beach and several Gaudí museums/ architecture. Close to historic ‘olde-world’ Gothic quarter. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very extensive breakfast buffet, a little on expensive side but worth it if you can eat a lot. Bear in mind that they start clearing breakfast away on the stroke of 10.30 so get there early to pace yourself. Only 2 criticisms: The pool and sun lounging area is small, and all loungers were usually already taken during our 4 day stay. Loungers are very comfy if you manage to get one. The lights in the communal lounge areas are way too bright in the evenings, so not attractive to sit and enjoy the cool mid-century vibe of the hotel. Managers - please take note and dim those lights in the evening. It would make such a difference.

The hotel lobby area itself is nice but the rooms are less than desirable. They look like they were nice when they first opened, but now they are run down. The furniture was scuffed, mattress stained, walls scuffed, drapes stained. There was a big dent in the wall that looked like was from previous water damage and was repaired poorly. The weirdest thing was when we came back to our room to find our shower heads missing. They came to put them back once we called but couldn’t tell us why they were missing. The staff at the front desk was always very friendly.

The hotel was very clean, welcome drinks were provided. The staff were wry friendly. We would like to send extra thanks to Frank on reception for his help in guiding us how to get around the main landmarks in the city for our short trip. The bar staff were very friendly. The room was spotless (we love Rituals so this was a big bonus for us). The lobby area was nice to just sit and relax in before going out again on adventures

We came back to Barcelona after a 9-day cruise. Although it was 9 AM, the Reception staff immediately gave us a room. The hotel is located in a very good area, minutes away from the Ramblas, the Cathedral and the Casa de la Musica. Lots of dining places around. Barceloneta beach is a comfortable walk away, just at the end of the street, and the hotel staff conveniently let us use their pool towels. This modern hotel is in spotless condition. Our room was exactly what we expected, spacious, well equipped. We even had a private walkout patio where we spent some quiet time in the evenings. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We would be happy to come back.

I would have given this hotel an unreserved five star rating. The room and AC were quiet, location good, excellent lounge areas. But for a hotel of this quality to have such poor internet is unacceptable. Opening web pages was extremely slow, often timing out. Streaming impossible. I mentioned this to the front desk. They said they would look into it, but nothing changed. The wifi was slow, not just in our room, but also in the lobby. If you need to get any work done, I would avoid this otherwise great hotel.

We stayed for 5 nights in April. It is a decent modern hotel, however looks much better in the pictures than it actually is. Fantastic location, and friendly staff. We had 2 rooms, both are facing the interior of the hotel, i.e., no external windows/natural light, that was a disappointment. It was not explicitly mentioned from the online booking descriptions. I would have chosen other room types if that was known to me. The room itself was very clean, albeit small.

Great staff - friendly & very helpful. Was initially given room 705 but asked to be switched after discovering it is directly under the 8th floor outdoor restaurant. It was so noisy - chairs constantly scraping on floor & could hear conversations. On the plus side - rooms are very nice and fairly spacious for European hotel. Excellent location - close to restaurants, shops, coffee cafes etc. Also Each room I saw seemed to have a balcony - and our first one had a nice view. Hotel very interesting / quaint & decorated very modern. On the negative side - mattress is very very firm. And the shower pan is SUPER SLIPPERY. You MUST put down a towel & stand on it while showering. But overall it is a great hotel. Will stay here again next year!

Excellent location , room was very quiet. Big bathroom with a proper door! Some of the furniture in the room looked a bit tired , but there was plenty of storage and we enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff were very helpful.

The common areas were very nice and the hotel location is good. Our Junior Suite - while spacious - was in need of renovations. The bathroom door could not be closed, the shower water membrane was broken (so water came up through the floorboards in the suite during and after a shower) and the televisions would come on at random times during the night. The lift was damaged so when the door opened on our floor, it was like fingernails on a chalkboard. I would stay and an H10 again, but maybe not this one.

Rooms were spacious and clean. The shower and bathroom area was perfect. Breakfast was a very impressive selection including buffet bar and menu ordering. The staff were brilliant. I asked for a room upgrade with a terrace and they sorted it no problems at all. The location of this was perfect. In walking distance of everything. We are 30 years old, and travel as a couple and would 100% reccomend anyone to book this place.

Reception staff very welcoming. Terrace room exceptionally good. Well stocked fridge and great gels in the bathroom. Didn’t have chance to avail of hotel food. Only thing that let the hotel down as far as we were concerned was the unbelievably poor service in the evening in the rooftop bar. Seemed like none of the staff knew what they were doing!! With the price of beverages as they were there, we would have expected a much better service. Gave them a second chance but second night was worse still so went elsewhere after that . Such a pity as the bar area was so relaxing in the evening with fantastic views. You can have the best venue in the world but if poor quality staff are running it, it’s doomed for failure.

First time in Barcelona and the hotel is close to the metro and shopping/dining. Great location - most everything is very walkable! Not sure how customer service is typically in Spain but the front desk service was incredible. Anas made us feel welcome and went above and beyond. This was 5 star service by him! Definitely will be back to H10 Cubik thanks to him.

PROS: Great location, nice staff, and very clean! CONS: HOTEL DOES NOT HONOR EXPEDIA VIP REWARDS PERKS!!! Very upsetting since I messaged them in advance asking them to confirm that they honor the FREE room upgrade VIP perk since I saw a handful of reviews stating that they do not. The hotel messaged me back saying that it us subject to availability but they will document my request. Upon arrival, we asked about the VIP upgrade perk and they stated that they have upgraded rooms available but it will be an "upgrade, upgrade for an additional charge of $30 euros per night" So yeah, it's NOT free which pissed me off since I book my stays with hotels that offer the Expedia VIP perks. I could have booked our stay at a dozen other VIP properties in the same area so that was disappointing. They also did not give us the free drink perk at check in. We had to go back down and ask how it works, if we just go up to the rooftop bar and order or what... the front desk staff then said that his colleague gave us the VIP drink cards at check in (we didn't get this) which he then didn't believe us & hesitated. So first, no free room upgrade now they are gaslighting us on receiving the drink cards. Nice! ROOF TOP STAFF: The gentleman working the terrace was very, very rude. We went to the rooftop an hour before close and he kicked us out saying the bar was closed. The staff on reception were absolutely lovely. Extremely friendly and courteous. The hotel was in a fantastic location easily walkable from everywhere. Breakfast was delicious. I loved the decor too. No complaints but many reasons to praise this hotel. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Das Hotel und auch die Zimmer haben ein tolles Ambiente und sind modern und vor allem stilvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt im Hotel zwischen der Lobby und der Dachterrasse viele kleine Orte, an die man sich Mal schon zurückziehen kann. Dabei wird man absolut zuvorkommend und professionell von den Mitarbeitern betreut. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, die Betten groß sauber und bequem und der Boden hat keinen Teppich. Dazu einer der angenehmsten und kalkfreiesten Duschen, die ich seit langer Zeit genießen durfte. Abgerundet wird die Ausstattung und der gute Service durch ein fabelhaftes Frühstück. Ein großes Buffet ergänzt durch ein Menü, um alles was wirklich frisch gemacht werden sollte auch frisch zu bekommen. Insgesamt kann man sagen, dass hier alles Qualität hat und jeder weiß was er warum tut. Vielen Dank für die tollen Tage!

Great location on edge of Gothic area. We loved the rooftop bar and plunge pool. The room was spacious, ceilings were very high and the large window opened to a view below of busy street. The windows was well insulated and we didn’t hear any sound at night. One problem with the high ceilings was that the curtains were very difficult to open or close. The large bathroom with spacious walk in shower was lovely. My husband found the shower floor very slippery and we had to put towels on it for my husband to stand on. We used the rooftop several evenings for a pre/dinner drink. The views were spectacular. We would stay in this hotel again if we were in Barcelona.

I traveled with my partner on August and stayed 4 nights at H10 Cubik. Liked: Beautiful and well decorated property. Spacious and very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with many fresh options and made to order plates. Roof top restaurant with beautiful views of Barcelona and great food. Exceptional service everywhere. Bear in mind that they start clearing breakfast away on the stroke of 10.30 so get there early to pace yourself. Only 2 criticisms: The pool and sun lounging area is small, and all loungers were usually already taken during our 4 day stay. Loungers are very comfy if you manage to get one. The lights in the communal lounge areas are way too bright in the evenings, so not attractive to sit and enjoy the cool mid-century vibe of the hotel. Great location and splendid service from the receptionists! They gave us that extra that really elevated our stay! If you like to be able to walk your way around the city, this is a great location! But rooms not worth the price.. ecspecially if you end up on lower floors. They did not feel 4-star. Also I was baffled by the strange way room service made the beds, we had to re-do it ourselves every day. Plus, the bed made sounds every time you turned. Stay away from hotel breakfast, not good and not worth price. Pros: - The service!
