I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made me feel right at home. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and the room was comfortable, spacious, and exactly what I needed after a long day. The only thing I would have loved to have was some amenities like a toothbrush and a toothpaste available with some slippers to use instead of walking around with socks.

Great location - walking distance to both Orange line (Midway) and Blue line (OHare) cta L stops. Across from the park, near Art district. Some great restaurants also close by. Comfortable rooms, very nice staff. Definitely recommend!

I was charged 3 times for the room. I have tried calling to get this resolved and I can’t anyone to speak to me. It’s so discouraging and I will not be returning to this hotel.

Clean rooms, good amenities, and OK location. You can hear every noise from the outside, hallway or the adjacent rooms (we had to ask neighbours to keep quiet at 10:00 PM). Our biggest gripe though was with the impolite front desk staff attitude we received throughout the trip including at check-in and check-out. The lack of professionalism we perceived so visibly and clearly was unworthy of Chicago, Le Meridien, and the Marriott group. Not a single word of greeting or a respectful gesture from anyone manning the desk or any demonstration of even trying to be helpful. Finally on one random day we came back to find our room was not serviced with only trash emptied, another unexpected inconsistency.

The hotel location was the best part. We were attending a concert at Soldier Field, so the easy walk there and back was perfect. The room was small; don’t let the label “deluxe” fool you. The barn door bathroom left little to the imagination. If your travel partner is in the bathroom, make sure you turn the tv on to provide a sliver of privacy. Additionally, the shower was nice until the pipes started making a jack hammering type noise. Anyone still asleep while you’re getting ready will be woken up after that starts. Lastly, the refrigerator in the room made a high pitch whining noise all night. For the price, I didn’t expect perfection, but these things really left a bad taste. If we come back I’ll probably look at other hotels in the area before staying here again.
