Ms. Patricia at the front desk was absolutely, the best ever! She was as polite and extremely, helpful with suggestions for places to go in town. Ms. Tammy at breakfast was also the best. I truly, enjoyed talking with her each morning. She put a smile on my face every time. The elevator being broken was a bit of a downfall. It did take quite a while to get up/down.

Property was clean. Parking was terrible. Totally full and No tracking of license plate numbers for poorly parked vehicles. Clerk gave us a key to a room that was already occupied and we walked in on them. Our next room assignment was much better and was not occupied. Clerk was obviously over stressed from several complaints about parking and lack of help. She was not very tactful under pressure.

The hotel was under renovations and a dangerous construction zone. None of which was mentioned on the website. There was one elevator for 5floors which is a fire hazard. When I asked the staff abt the construction I was told if I didn’t like it to go somewhere else. Very unprofessional and rude. Every patron we encountered was displeased and upset at the conditions of the establishment.

We had a wonderful stay ! Two suggestions more parking ( the sweet lady working the desk had to move her car so we could to-park ) also hotels.com needs to update fees related to pets . We paid 75 plus a $100 deposit that wasn’t disclosed on the booking site ( just said pet friendly ) 😉

Staff very friendly and welcoming. The dining room staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Very nice hotel, could tell it is well maintained. The breakfast is ok, only wish the coffee in the room matched the quality of the lobby coffee. Also enjoyed the evening cookies, such a nice little treat. Also the bed was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our one night stay.

The property is under major construction and no one was told. We’re here with a softball team and you have to take the service elevator to get to the rooms. There is also no breakfast. None of this was told to us beforehand. Way too much money for all the inconvenience.

My biggest issue is the door that acts as door for closet and door for bathroom. It would not close all the way therefore there was no privacy in the bathroom

We booked a room with 2 queens for a family of 4 and were given a room with a single king when we arrived. No other rooms were available, so we were not able to change to an appropriate room. The love seat sized fold away bed is not an equivalent alternative. We specifically chose this hotel and room for the two queens. To work around the problem, we had to purchase an air mattress.

The noise from the hall and other rooms when the housekeeping was cleaning next door was not enjoyable at all. Maybe a note to have them clean other rooms that are away from guests first. I wish the walls were insulated better

Little disappointed with the check in. Lady wasn’t helpful with my question and had a bit of attitude when she couldn’t find my reservation that I hade made months ago through Expedia. I didn’t know about the pet charge since I have stayed in other Hampton Inn as early as week before and wasn’t charged for my small dog. Nothing in website about a pet fee. Only said pet friendly and the lady that checked us in was rude about it.

The property is in good shape and everything very clean and modern. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Located a short distance from downtown with many restaurants to choose from. You can easily walk to eat or take the free (just a tip) shuttle.

I enjoyed my time in Rome for a business trip. The hotel was very accommodating and the front desk staff was very friendly. I wasnt impress with breakfast but i will definitely stay again.
