Room Mate Collection Valeria, Málaga

Rooftop bar was great! Staff were wonderful. Our room was spacious and quiet at night. Locations was excellent, just a 3 min walk to the old center which is bustling with cafes, restaurants, shopping. A 20 min walk to the beach. We took the bus from the airport and it was super easy because the hotel is located right next to the main bus routes.

We have stayed here many times but this is the first time we had a room on the ground floor. It was unfortunately a lot worse than the other rooms higher up in the building. The bathroom smelled of mold and every time someone flushed or showered it sounded like a waterfall in the room (and it happened a lot during the nights). It was a handicap room which made the bathroom floor overflow as there was no barrier (for wheelchair access). We like the hotel, and will stay again, but we will be very careful to not stay at the bottom floor. The location of the hotel is great and the pool area is nice and the same goes for the staff.

Great location

Lovely hotel, staff and breakfast. My only criticism was that it was rather noisey from traffic outside, also inside with the automatic door closing mechanism on room doors were set too fiercely causing doors to slam behind you. Also the door to the staircase on the first floor was the same and made a horrendous bang everytime someone used it. Trying to sleep after about 7am was impossible

All fine. But aircon wouldn’t kick in. When checking-out, I mentioned it an was told that the front desk controls it, for some reason. Breakfast fine. Staff v friendly. Roof bar great. Central to many sites. Bicycle rental 10 metres away.
