This property is the most unique we've ever stayed at. Spectacular bar/restaurant/views at the top of the pyramid. All the taxidermied animals and live fish in tanks and ponds. Wahlburgers. Giant store. Upstairs private rooms and suites with private indoor bar/breakfast buffet. Lots of outdoor seating with fire pits and probably live music in warmer months. Only complaint would be better lighting in rooms especially bathrooms. Nice jet tub and shower.

The staff at the hotel was amazing. I would definitely stay at the hotel again, but I would do my shopping somewhere elseThe staff at the bass pro shop was not only rude, but you almost couldn’t get anybody to help you. The staff at the tower at the elevator was extremely rude. And then to close the bowling alley down on a Saturday night because they had a private party was ridiculous with no warning to hotel guest.

Stayed in double twin - great room and fantastic bathroom. Free shuttle to town very handy (Sherene was great and gave good tips). Avoid all restaurants except the top one. Options not available and salads partly off. Breakfast horrible and very expensive for what you get. No tea, no regular milk, cutlery not complete, overcooked food and sugared fresh fruit, hardly any staff around.. the hotel offered a small reduction but still had to pay 75 dollars before heading for a proper breakfast elsewhere. Not sure about the activities - serms you have to bring your own equipment for all so couldn’t use. Decent gym, no pool..

Accommodations were excellent. Very private and quiet behind the hotel doors. The custom outdoor and wildlife details of the construction were incredible. The room's balcony was awesome overlooking the store area. Would definitely consider future stay. Store and Lookout restaurant/elevator close at 7:00 PM on Sunday, store opens at 9:00 AM and elevator at 11:00 AM, so that was a bit of a bummer since we got there at 6:00 PM.

Stunning hotel very novel but a few things to moan about. Bottled water, coffee etc not topped up during our whole stay, dog hairs on the carpet, breakfast overpriced for what it was. But valet parking good, staff lovely and lift to rooftop was amazing. Strange that the Mississippi terrace bar wasn’t open even tho weather was perfect

Awesome from check in to check out . Upscale rooms and suites and a lot to do . Allows pets and everyone is very professional and nice . It is in the pyramid of bass pro Memphis Tennessee. Many restaurants and piano bar and observation deck and 20 story elevator ride to rooftop laugh out loud . Outside patios and bowling and ao many other activities to do . Rooms are outstanding and big with a balcony to see the inside of bass pro shops .

My wife and I were assigned a room that was designed for handicapped individuals and they refused to give us a different room. The lights in the bathroom didn't work unless you play with the switch and my wife noticed mold on the shower floor, it was very dark throughout the building and the bed in our room had hair on the sheets and pillows.The staff was very nice and courteous but, it was alil difficult trying to communicate with the staff that didn't speak English but again they were very kind and the resort had beautiful aquarium's and shops to explore.

The room I stayed in was not clean. There was cereal on the floor in the bathroom and around the beds. It was an old sock on the floor when we arrived at the room on day one. The guest beside us wee very loud and slamming doors. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim. The cleaning lady beat on the door several times on the last day of our stay before checking out. The front desk staff were nice but I didn’t like my room. Definitely not the experience I had when I first stayed at this establishment.

We had a great stay. It is a nice property for sure. Our room looked clean but we did find a fishing hook in the carpet, a fork next to the bed a balloon under the chair. It also looked as though the last guest had put posters or decorations hung above the bed. It was still overall a good stay and will stay again.

Staff was great. Lodge was spotless. However, we got there an hour early & they wanted us to pay $50 for early check in. After driving 6 hours to get told we had to wait another hour is aggravating & pointless knowing that our room is ready for us to occupy it. Just another way to get more money!!!!

Property itself is great! The room was nice, BUT it was so loud! You could hear the people in the room next to us! You could hear kids screaming from porches until about midnight. I get having a good time, but it was Incredibly loud. Then the neighbors at at 5am! When you needed a little sleep for the 8 hour drive home, you’d think you could get that. For money we paid for this room it was very disappointing! Staff were great, breakfast was good. Loved the shopping and dinner.

We really enjoyed our stay. From check in, the bellman was an older gentleman who was super helpful and friendly. He even did a quick room tour and showed us how to use dimmers. Beds were comfy and decor was great. The view from our room and the bar area was really nice.

Hotel-5 star, the staff made it a 2 star. Loved the aesthetics, loved having restaurants, shop, and bowling in house. Front desk 1 star, Bowling staff 2 star, Lookout restaurant staff 4 star, bass pro cashier 2 star. You felt like the staff hated their jobs and were lackadaisical. The room was a 5 star. We expected more from the staff. We paid for the breakfast buffet, which had to be done in advance. It was basic, you should eat out. A woman who worked it was great, the man who worked it was not. He was crabbed out. It was not a pleasant experience due to the staff, except for 2 people. Also you cannot check in even 15 min early or we were told it was a 50.00 up charge. FYI

Great hotel! Very poor check in service. Staff in the bars are great however they tried to charge my card again for the stay.. They also tried to charge me for parking. Not one apology. We did not let this ruin our stay but be prepared at check in and check everything before entering your pin/signing

This stay was amazing. The entire family enjoyed every second of it from the view at the top, the free shuttle service, the cabin feel in the room, the food and games and so much more. Service was exceptional and Alicia at the front desk went over and beyond throughout our entire stay. We will definitely be back.

The rooms are HUGE! Great sheets, tubs, shower pressure, lots of food options and a free shuttle to take you to other restaurants downtown. The Front desk staff, the maintenance staff, the bartenders are all top notch. Very friendly. Very professional. Very Helpful in every way. The Pyramid is a famous iconic thing, but the hotel is a hidden gem in Memphis.

Staff were not very friendly for seemingly no reason. I accidentally left something in the room and realized after already back home in another state. I found there’s no way to contact the property directly. I sent a message on their website and received and automated message with a complicated online process to try to get my things back. It was frustrating and confusing so I just gave up. For the price, I expected way more. Not worth it.

It was Great! Everyone was wonderful except for the employee at the elevator going up to the Lookout. Really or something like that. She was very rude and made us wait quite a while before letting us go up. She knew we were there and still waited on a lot of other customers first.

I love how close to everything it is. It has a shuttle to Beale street! The rooms are beautiful. I love the fact they have plenty of dining options, places to grab a cocktail, bowling and plenty of shopping!

This hotel was booked last minute as it looked interesting as we pulled into town. We were very, very surprised at the scale and quality of the finishes. The staff was professional, and the sites were one of the kind.I Definitely recommend considering a stay here.

The concept of this hotel is unmatched. It was incredible. Also, the accommodations and decor feel like that of a luxury property. However, there is a significant contrast in the rooftop restaurant’s service and food quality. The cooking staff was unprofessional in how they carried themselves, our server looked bored and reflected such when she got multiple orders wrong, and all of it was overpriced. When you dine here, it’s for the view and not the food or service. There is only one offering for breakfast which is in the hotel. It’s a basic motel breakfast but three times the price. Not worth it unless you are starving. Finally, there was no hot water for our entire first day/night. That was very disappointing, but thankfully when we woke up, water was hot and we could shower. We would stay again for the unique experience of the pyramid, but we know what we are getting into with the rest.

I’m sad because my daughter and I came to Memphis for a college visit and picked the lodge due to its rating and higher price point thinking it would be a much nicer property than It was. The front desk staff and valet were very nice…but we are pretty sure we had bedbugs in our room and the room did not feel clean. We both itched all night long and the next morning (horrifying). The breakfast buffet was $24 per person and absolutely terrible. Fake eggs, rotten pineapple, gross rubber pancakes and hard waffles…neither my daughter or I really ate anything because it was so remarkably bad. The area around the hotel is well…pretty dirty and dangerous but that’s because it’s Memphis it’s not the hotel’s fault. Can I laugh and tell people I stayed in the pro shop pyramid? Yes. Would I ever come back? Absolutely not.

We enjoyed the stay. Some things I did not like was the price of a drink. I thought we were at a concert. Small mixed drinks $15. A beer is $10. Considering the cost of the room I thought it was a little much. The coffee was horrible. It was so weak. I expect better for the price. Also the breakfast is something you would get for free at a cheap motel. They wanted $25 dollars for it. We don’t mind payin

Such a cute place to stay! The only downsides are the restaurant closes earlier than the hotel so we came on a Sunday and the restaurant closed at seven so we had to order room service and the only option was wahlburgers. Which was good but expensive with service fee. And the only other downside beside that was the beds aren’t very comfortable. Actually, they’re actually very very uncomfortable. Other than that, it is such a cute place to stay and the kids love sitting on the porch and being inside The pro shop itself. Love it so much I would stay again.

The only food option was Wahlberg‘s, they have a bowling alley with Bar & Grill that was OK and then they have a restaurant on the top floor. We did not die there. We just simply ran out of time.

Only reason for a mediocre review is after spending $3,000 the Breakfast buffet was what other hotels have, nothing special and the cost was $25.00 per person. Eggs, sausage and pancakes…..sorry, but that was crap and that was the last thing I experienced as I was leaving. We ate down the road,at a mom and pop place, great food for way less. Give your hotel guests that food for free, they have spent enough with you as it is.

We ate at Wahlburgers and the Lookout st the Top of the Pyramid! The food was Excellent at both places. The Big Cypress Lodge room was amazing and so comfortable!
