We'll likely stay there again. Location is great with so many walkable food options. Enjoyed breakfast, especially the yogurt with fresh fruit and donut holes. Liked the bench in the bathroom. Gym is well equipped, which we all used at the same time. Some negatives: the sofabed was very uncomfortable and extra pillows were little lumps, have to use key card to get in front door, and parking lot needs more hotel spots from Target.

The Hyatt House was a spectacular stay from start to finish. We were so pleasantly surprised to pull up to the front of the property to find a street strung with lights right as the snow started. The front desk staff was so pleasant and helpful at check in, checkout, and when making an adjustment extend to our stay due to the weather. The hotel itself is clean and well appointed, large windows downstairs give you a wonderful view of the festive street outside while you enjoy a meal, a drink, or a game of pool at the lobby pool table. The room was spacious and exceeded expectations and I know I keep mentioning the street but seriously laying in bed and looking out the window at the lights in the snow was just lovely. There is so much to do and see within walking distance of this property - restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and the most beautiful outdoor ice skating rink I’ve seen. We had an absolutely fantastic time and highly recommend a stay here.

Located in the up-and-coming (or come and gone already?) Belmar neighborhood of SW Denver, this Lakewood property is well-staffed, clean and bright, with a trendy Happy Hour (advertised) each day. The "All doors are locked all the time" admonition implies that the neighborhood is a bit sketch(y). The Good News: there's a large Target across the back parking lot, if you forget anything. :)

This hotel is amazing!! Comfortable bed and pillows!! Nice big shower. Large room with separate seating area and a kitchenette. Literally in the middle of a cute shopping area with free parking. Breakfast was great. They also have a bar on-site and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. On-site laundry was a plus for us! Highly recommend i will stay here again if i am in the area!!

Loved the location of this hotel and appreciated the view of the mountains from our room! Very walkable to local restaurants nearby and a 5 min drive from every other chain restaurant you can think of. The parking was the only problem I had. They share a lot with Target and I saw many Target customers taking the spots reserved for the Hyatt House. I came home late from a concert and there were no more reserved spots left so I ended up parking a lil farther way in a designated Target spot. They do offer a garage across the street that is free which is also an option. Overall a great stay and would love to come back!

The room was very clean and well stocked with what we needed for our stay. Breakfast was good and the Bar was a good place to relax and have a day ending drink. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I do love this hotel and stay here often at least once a month and the staff is just amazing but the room cleanliness is definitely something to be desired. My room this time was filthy. The room and especially bathroom was visibly dusty and dirty. Room cleaning needs to be looked at and addressed.

Excellent! We stayed there for 1 week while we helped our son move into an apartment a couple of blocks away. The room was spacious and very nice.The entire hotel is exceptionally clean. Many restaurants within walking distance. Check in was easy.All the staff was very friendly.

We stayed for five nights for an out-of-town wedding. We were told that housekeeping would come to our room every other day. Housekeeping never came to our room the entire time we were there. The room itself was dilapidated. There were stains on the carpet, shower curtain, and sofa and the bathroom had not been thoroughly clean. The location of this hotel is great, but the hotel itself is definitely lacking.

I think the cleanliness of my room was marginal. None of the desk, nightstand areas looked like they had been wiped clean. And the walls were patched up with paint here & there. Lots of fingerprints on doors and cabinets. They could do better

The day was good. The staff was great. The breakfast was adequate. However, my room was not clean. Looked like the carpet had not been vacuumed. There was dental floss, laying on the floor from the previous people. The water glasses had not been changed.

Our room was not cleaned properly. Refrigerator was dirty, dirty dishes were still in the dishwasher, coffee maker still had a used filter in it. To top it off, when my daughter sat on the sofa and got up, she had dog here on her pants. We then noticed after looking closely at the carpet, it had dog hair. So basicially, the kitchen wasn't cleaned, and the room wasn't vacuumed. My wife talked with the front desk, and they were very responsive. They did offer another room with a slight discount, but it would be smaller than what we had. My wife just wanted the room cleaned, at least vacuumed which they did do. I would think the cleaning crew would have some kind of a checklist to follow. They probably do, we just had one that didn't follow it.

We stayed in the King Suite w/ Sofa bed and absolutely loved the room, very comfortable, great mountain view (4th floor). We had to work while there and the kitchen/desk area was convenient plus it was really quiet. Bathrooms and room in general very well appointed. Overall clean property and a surprisingly good free breakfast that changed a bit everyday, better than most hotel free breakfasts. Lots in the area to walk to from stores to dining and easy parking. We will stay again when in the area!

We had a nice, comfortable room and we then opened the blinds and we were right under all the banks of air conditioning units. No view! It was the worst view I have ever had at a hotel.

Area was walkable to several restaurants and shopping, bed was comfortable enough, and the room was pretty clean. But our room was next to laundry or something and it was so loud starting around 7a. So it was tough to sleep in on our vacation. We were only there 2 nights so we didn’t want to be moved.

Belmar is a great area with shopping, dining and fun. Convenient to get to lots of areas in Denver. Hotel was showing its age in places (cracked tiles, worn carpet) but was very clean.

The front desk staff guy was very welcoming and friendly. I was not happy to find that the shades are not black out shades, but thankfully we were leaving before sunrise but can’t imagine how annoyed I would be if I wanted to sleep in.

The room was great, bed comfortable and hotel was clean. Our issue lies with the very shady bar tab. We had 2 drinks at the bar, each was about $12. We tabbed out with a total of about $25 and tipped $5. At checkout, I reviewed my bill and was surprised to see a $60 bar tab! I brought it to the attention of the front desk, who said she'd take it down to $35. It honestly felt like the overcharge was intentional and that they were banking on us not checking our bill. The fact that the front desk couldn't or wouldn't verify what we signed at the bar made it feel even more like a scam. If you stay here, DO NOT charge anything to the room and be sure to look very carefully at the check out statement.

When we checked in 2 hours after check in time one of our rooms was still not ready. We were going to a concert so I paid for all three rooms and was assured that the key to the third room would be at the desk when we got back. At 2 am we returned and were refused the key to the third room. The police were called on us for being upset about being denied a room already paid for ( not to mention not being able to be able to get the key when we paid for the room). Once the police showed up the completely rude and (in our opinion) incompetent night clerk immediately produced a key. Why did we have to lose over an hour of sleep for this desk jockey’s power trip?

Check-in was friendly and very accommodating. I didn’t have to wait long and was given my room key within 10 minutes, which was perfect after a long flight. The whole process was quick and smooth, making for a great start to my stay.

It was an "ok" room. Spacious, but the tv didn't work and we had to call for someone to fix it. Which they did. Check in had a problem finding our reservation but finally managed to find it. It was ok.

Very nice lobby and room. We arrived around 12:30 and the room was ready but they charge $25 to check in early. Check in is at 3:00. I was not fond on the money grab when the hotel wasn’t busy.

Excellent location in downtown Lakewood, very close to shopping and variety of dining options. Also quite close and convenient driving to mountains (Red Rock, Dinosaur Ridge, Lookout Mountain), and not far from downtown Denver. Both hotel and our room were clean and quiet. Spacious and clean breakfast area, good choice of breakfast options. Staff was polite and welcoming. For improvement: one day our room was not serviced, and they forgot to empty the trash basket under the kitchen sink for the last 3 days (thankfully, there were 2 other baskets in the room). Once we saw a cigarette butt on the floor in the hallway on our floor. Also, the hotel shares the parking with Target. Once we returned at 8pm and barely found the very last inconvenient parking spot. It wood be better to reserve more parking spots for the hotel. In general - we loved our stay and definitely would return; and I recommend this hotel.

Room was nice. It was nice to have a little couch but was set up at a weird angle to watch tv or read. I dint like the barn door in the bathroom but I know that is the trend. The shower was nice. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby which was great. Got coffee at Starbucks in the target. Breakfast was not great. The scrambled eggs were burned and rubbery. Potatoes were only sort of cooked and not brown and crispy. I had a pastry that seemed wet and soggy. The bread choices were not great. Only blueberry bagels. Had an English muffin that was poor quality. The sausage was good. The yogurt parfait was the best breakfast item. I would probably go out to eat if I stayed here again.
