Really nice luxury apartment style hotel with small kitchen and washer/dryer and located 1 min walk from Tokyo Station. The front desk manager is also very accommodating storing our luggage when we check out to visit Nikko. Would definitely recommend!

We loved the convenient location, so close to transportations and shopping but quiet. A convenience store outside. The spacious room included a full kitchen with dishwasher and washer/ dryer. Modern and up to date bathroom with tub and large rain shower. Good personal amenities, quality pajamas and comfy beds. Professional, friendly staff. Breakfast options were excellent and food variety changed daily. I highly recommend The Oakwood premier and we will stay here again.

Our room, bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The buffet breakfast was quite good, but exactly the same every morning. We stayed 6 nights and it became boring. The staff were all very polite and spoke English. The limo bus to the airport was right on the ground floor of the hotel, very convenient. We would stay there again.

Hotel was wonderful! So conveniently next to Tokyo Station. The airport limousine bus is located in the same building! All the staff were all professional, helpful and friendly. They explained everything I needed to know. Room were clean and spacious! Felt luxurious. Definitely coming back again!

Bait & switch. At check-in, they said that the room type we had reserved (a "Superior Studio" with a king bed) was not available & so we could either take a room w/ twin beds or pay extra 4 a room with king bed. I showed the clerk our Expedia reservation, which shows a king bed. But the clerk said "Oh, that's just a request, not a guarantee." What?? Thinking I had missed something, we paid the difference (~$30/night) 4 the room w/ king bed. That evening, I noticed on Expedia the "Superior Studio" says (& still does): "1 King Bed". Not only that, Expedia showed this hotel as still having 2 of these rooms available 4 that night! So, the hotel's claim of "unavailable" was suspect. I contacted Expedia support & they talked to the hotel. Expedia later told me that the extra charge was because we "requested an upgrade". Complete falsehood on the part of the hotel: we just wanted the room we booked & paid 4 months in advance. Later, I did notice that while the Expedia room selection page clearly says the room includes "1 King Bed", the page describing your booking (after you've paid) says this instead: "Requests: King Bed ... Special requests (such as bed type) are not guaranteed." So, once you book & pay 4 your room with "1 King bed", suddenly that feature (bed type) becomes a "special request" which is not guaranteed. Seriously, Expedia? Is this the customer experience you want? I rated the room cleanliness poorly because the room had a bad smell (the smell of food garbage).

Only there 1 night. Nice property. Convenient location to train station, shopping, restaurants and bus to Narita. Comfortable bed and pillows. It was pricey compared to other hotels but it was a full suite with in suite kitchen and laundry not just a hotel room.

We stayed at this service apartment hotel with modest expectations, and for the most part, everything was fine. A breakfast charge was added to our room, which I immediately flagged as a mistake. The front desk staff, though, was quite reluctant to believe me. I was asked to explain three times, and eventually, I had to challenge him to show me the signature on the receipt. The “signature” he presented was clearly not mine, nor did it even resemble my name. To make matters worse, the name on the cheque wasn’t even mine. Despite this, the staff member insisted that it was my room, and I found myself having to push further by asking him to compare the signature to my passport, which was on file. Only then did he grudgingly drop the issue, though it was clear he wasn’t happy about it. This incident highlighted the passive-aggressive, robotic service typical in Japan, where problems are handled rigidly and without much initiative to solve them outside of protocol. The inability to acknowledge a simple mistake was frustrating, especially after spending a large sum at the hotel. In the end, I was left feeling unnecessarily harassed over a $25 charge, which felt insulting after such a large expenditure.

I had a medical emergency a day before our arrival to Oakwood. Hotel manager Sho Goto and his team were very kind and extremely patient with us. Help me with wheelchair, taxi in and out and hospital contact. We are forever grateful and would definitely come back again when I recover. Other than this, the apartment is very clean, good size with very nice kitchen and laundry. It would fit most families with young kids like us.

Unbelievable at a hotel at this price point to be charged for a missing room key and to be denied a 500 Yen card for skipping the room cleaning because we were late in notifying. So cheap. This was not a luxurious experience for a number of additional reasons, which is a pity, because the room was nice.

A short walk from Tokyo Station, this hotel is by far one of the best I have stayed in while visiting Tokyo. The cleanliness was superior and the staff was very accommodating and helpful with transportation and dining sugestions.

At check-in, they said that the room type we had reserved (a "Superior Studio" with a king bed) was not available & so we could either take a room w/ twin beds or pay extra 4 a room with king bed. I showed the clerk our Expedia reservation, which shows a king bed. But the clerk said "Oh, that's just a request, not a guarantee." What?? The hotel is difficult to find in the hustle and bustle of the city, the door is tucked inside another building with various options of where to go, and the instructions did not state to come to a door and be called to enter. Besides being frustrated and tired from being lost, it was a good location.

The location was perfect - the Limousine Bus stop was at the bottom of the hotel, it was less than five minutes to the main Takashimaya store (which has an excellent food court) and was a ten minute walk to the Imperial Gardens. It was next door to the main Tokyo Station and relatively quiet, being in the business district, which we preferred. The staff were charming and the room was very comfortable - I loved the bed and pillows which were amazing and it was spacious and exceptionally clean. I thought it was very generous to offer good coffee and tea all day, free of charge in the lounge and the breakfast was delicious. Loved the tiny pastries and thought the choices were extensive.

Our room, bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The buffet breakfast was quite good, but exactly the same every morning. We stayed 6 nights and it became boring. The staff were all very polite and spoke English. The limo bus to the airport was right on the ground floor of the hotel, very convenient. We would stay there again.

Modern and up to date bathroom with tub and large rain shower. Good personal amenities, quality pajamas and comfy beds. Professional, friendly staff. VE : Awesome location near Tokyo Station, great breakfast, really appreciate having a laundry & dryer machine inside the room and microwave and oven. -ve: hidden entrance. reception is on the 1st floor, easily missed. Japanese staffs are very polite. No limousine bus to the airport if you are taking a 10am flight. Need to have staff arrange for a taxi . Overall is wonderful and will stay here again.
