Good price and clean , but just the parking close at 10pm

Clean, small room but has a spa which is great after a day's walk. Coin laundry machine is very limited, best to use other coin laundry machine around the area. Don't rely on the hotel's machine if you really need to wash clothes.

should have more laundry machines, it wait too long , only three machines for whole hotel customers to use .two hours per one washing .

駐車場が22時以降出庫できないのが残念

I love the big bath on the top floor, and their hours of operation is just perfect.

Close to shop and transportation. Around Check out time long wait for use elevators.

客室はきれいですし、大浴場も素晴らしい。 また利用したい。

エレベーターが複数あるのに、結構待ちました。設定上の問題があるのかもしれません。

Great location and onsen

Room was a non smoking room. But the chair had cigarette burns on the cushion and room smelled like it was once a smoking room. Room was clean and staff very friendly.

Very clean, very nice customer service. Jr and subway is under 5 min walking distance. No complaints!

部屋とお風呂の掃除が雑。日本レベルの清潔さとは程遠い。

部屋に設置してある空気清浄機。 吹き出し口のホコリの量はここ数ヶ月レベルの物とは思えませんでした。

Stains on the walls. Shower curtain stinks.

お風呂の中側面に垢が付いていてザラザラで 清掃してない？感じでした あとティッシュペーパーBoxの、内側がとてもきたなくて驚きました。 いつも使用しているAPAホテルなのに 最近泊まるたびに臭いが気になったりと残念です。

They were very clean. I liked that they gave the option for cleaning, meaning I can choose if I want extra days of cleaning, and they always left towels and extra toothbrushes.

I wished the bed was much firmer.

The room is too hot and i need to close the air conditioner and open the window, but this is noisily after open the window

Rooms were small for 2 people and ac was controlled by property so if it’s warm you can’t adjust the temperature in room, they tell you to open the window instead

The room was so small we could not open our cases. For 2 people way too small. Bathroom toilet in one tiny area. Step over high bath to shower. Aircon great. Washer/dryer bonus. Great location for trains.

Location is convenient but I would not stay there again. Too expensive given the size of the room. Way too small for two people to stay comfortably.

This was the 4th hotel during my 16 day trip to Japan and it was our least favorite.That said, it does what you need it for but it was just hard not to compare this with the other hotels. The positives, this hotel will probably be the easiest walks from station to hotel you'll ever get. Its located in Sugamo which is considered the "old people" part of town. When we arrived around 11am "Jizodori Shopping Street" was very lively, like a farmers market. All the locals were out selling their wares and food and it was a fun experience. Plenty of dining options around the area as well. The negatives. The lobby looks great but always felt kind of stuffy to me. The front desk was hidden in the back so after you check in you basically never interact with the staff again unless you're looking for them. The elevators, despite having the most of all the hotels we stayed at, felt very slow. The hallways of the hotel were open air, not enclosed. The room we stayed in had stains and parts of the wallpaper coming off. The mirror was scratched up and the walls are pretty thin, we could essentially hear everything from the hotel to what was going on outside like shouting and sirens every night. You have no control over the climate control unit in your room. The hotel staff chooses for the whole building if your unit will use AC or Heat and you can adjust that portion but for example if the hotel has it set to heat, then you can only adjust how hot. You can't switch to it cool.

Rooms were TINY. amenities were plentiful, but the room was TINY. rooms jad good temperature controls, and were VERY quiet.

The property was nice enough but very small, the bed was tilted from people sitting on it and it was not high enough to put luggage under it, so the cramped room became even smaller. Also the AC was set to heat while it said to keep the bathroom door open while showering. This caused the room to become a swamp and hard to sleep in, the front desk told us we were not Allowed to put the air conditioning on

The room is comfortable and neat. Staff are excellent and show courtesy to the needs I asked for.

Couldn't find my reservation through a 3rd party forced-first" latest tech" integrated system that requires somebody to assist you (🤕?!). We must've tried 8X before the other gentleman simply looked me up in their own computer! Rooms were shoe boxes ... you could at least design smarter with storage in mind. Literally NONE. Here's the kicker though ... CENTRALIZED CLIMATE CONTROL should be disclosed when booking WITH a pop-up requiring you acknowledge & agree. Woke up at 4:30am because of stuffy stagnate room with NO AIRCONDITIONING and NO FAN at least moving hot air. It was 78 degrees!!! Go down to the lobby, night auditor breaks the news "everybody else complained that it was cold". My arse they did, not at 78 degrees!!!

元旦にゆっくりホテルへと思ったのに、朝からボヤ騒ぎで大浴場にも入らず慌てて階段で避難し帰った。夕方電話したら、なんの謝罪も返金もない。とあっさり言われた。 こんなに緊張、恐れを味わったのに。

Front desk staff was very helpful especially when using the luggage service Yamato. Also very close to Sugamo station so very covinient.

The staff were very helpful when I arrived. The check in went smooth. They are not overly nice, which I like. They will assist only when I asked, which kept my privacy pretty good. Room was cleaned every three days. Clean towels, tooth brush, yukata and others are delivered at the door every day. No nocking by housekeepers. I enjoyed the stay well. The lunch on the lobby restaurant was very good.

て訪れた場所だったのですが都営三田線、JR線ともに駅から直ぐで場所も判り易く良かった。チャックアウト後のキャリーケースなど手荷物預かりのサービスがありとても助かりました。部屋も大浴場も清潔で良かったです。

スタッフの対応が悪かった

Very friendly reception, i had an excellent stay there. They were very helpful and it was easy, thanks to advice i was given, I was able to go to a concert and know what to do as well as being able to buy things I wanted to take home when I left. The room is very well provided for and clean

Im glad I booked this Hotel its right next to the train staion and so convenient, many restaurants and bars, 7 eleven, pharmacy the hotel is really nice and clean friendly staff would definitely return and stay at Apa Hotel Sugamo.

I had a fantastic time staying in this hotel during my first visit to Japan. Very clean, safe and located a few minutes walk from well-connected Sugamo station. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout.

Location is a quick stroll to Sugamo Station.

Close to the JR and Mita line, very convenient! And the room is small but clean.

駅近で、周辺に24時間営業の『名代富士そば』と『SEIYU』があるため夜食にちょっとそばやドリンク類などを安く購入することが可能なためかなり便利です。

Perfectly located next to Sugamo station on the Yamanote line which is ideal for all sorts of day trips around Tokyo. Located close to convenience stores and other shops.

Very convenient location off the Yamanote line that is away from the hustle and bustle of the other stops. Room itself was actually quite small and cramp. If you had anything larger than a carry-on luggage, it would likely block the door. Stayed in a double room for reference but it was one bed not two twin beds. (It was likely my mistake in booking it - but still this room was tiny). Other than size, amenities, cleanliness and comfort of room was nice. There is also a nice public bath/onsen on the 14th floor.

It is very close to stations. There are a lot of restaurants and convenient stores close by.

The room was overall not too bad. the Onsen was very clean and it was relaxing. My only issue was when I first arrived. The room had the smell of cigarette smoke although I was sure that the room was not allowed to be smoked in. It took a few hours with the AC on and the air purifier before most of the smell was gone. The Hotel was easily accessible, and There were many shops near by to get food, snacks and drinks. The Restaurant provided an awesome breakfast buffet every morning that was delicious and filling and helped keep me energized the whole day. It was also conveniently located near the Yamanote Line which gave access to all of Tokyo's most visitor friendly spots.

A typical APA Hotel. Good connected to public Transport (Yamanote line & Mita). Check in and out via machines, therefore hardly contact to staff. The rooms are clean, cozy and nice. However it is located at a very busy street and it is very loud even with closed windows around the clock. Spa area is a major plus.small but clean and very relaxing. The Restaurant is not recommended. Service is bad and its general standard is not at the same level as the of the Hotel.

Breakfast for non-Japanese was very poor.

The room was simple and well equipped. The bath facilities were pleasant, and the breakfast in the attached restaurant was excellent.
