Great location, beautiful rooftop pool, very clean rooms… everything else average. Do not come here and expect a 5 star experience. It’s a 4 star in a great location. Hotel not the best for travelling with a child - cot was not ready and was told they may not have one until next day, my husband was told he was not allowed to take breakfast up to me after the baby had been awake all night, and they were unable to arrange a taxi transfer with a baby seat despite them saying it was confirmed the day before.

Property was stylish, room was great, bar was nice, free breakfast was super and the staff was amazing. The rooftop pool was nice. I wish there were more chairs and that the bar up there was open. Would definitely stay again!!

very good property, near a lot of shopping locations and some food places. very convenient for when taking the underground. Easy to take underground when moving around to tourist locations in Barcelona, otherwise walking can be a 40-45 minute journey to the beach. Hotel is lovely, the outdoor pool is lovely. Rooms are clean and breakfast was very good standard of quality. The dinner options with the restaurant was very high standard of quality and service

We stayed in the junior suite and were extremely comfortable. The decor is spare and minimal attention to small details made it seem very homey. Public transportation was extremely convenient, the area was delightful to walk around, and the delicious restaurants abounded. Rooftop an extremely huge plus!

Couldn’t fault our stay here! Very clean. We had a penthouse/attic with balcony. Room was lovely and spacious. Staff were friendly. Rooms were cleaned each day and each night when we arrived back there had been a biscuit or chocolate left on the pillows. Sky bar and pool area where lovely never too busy and nice to relax there after a long day of walking. Good location too.

Wir waren wirklich mehr als nur enttäuscht! Wir hatte das Penthouse Atic gebucht, letzter Stock unter der Dachterrasse. die Aussicht war toll, aber durch das Pool am Dach wurden wir öfters von einer Wasserwelle getroffen, als wir auf unserer Terrasse saßen! Außerdem hört man am Zimmer durchgehend Poolgeräusche. Die Zimmer sind nicht gut isoliert! Von der Sauberkeit her, waren wir entsetzt - fremde Haare in der Dusche, Fenster mit Fingerabdrücken, Bettwäsche mit Flecken, schmutziger Boden, auf dem Balkon splittert sich bereits der Putz von der Fassade,… wir hatten einen Kieselstein in der Größe eines Knopfes auf dem Zimmerboden, der war von Anfang bis zum Schluss da. Einmal haben wir uns eine Bolognese und eine Nachspeise auf das Zimmer bestellen lassen - angekommen ist es ohne Servierhaube = kalt und offenbar wurde über das fertige Essen nochmal ordentlich grobes Meersalz darüber gestreut, den man hat mit jedem Bissen auf Salzkristall gebissen. Positiv: das kleine Nachspeisenglas war sehr gut! Auch wenn man im Urlaub nicht oft den Fernseher eingeschalten hat, aber zumindest am Abend zum Ausklingen lassen, wäre es doch ganz nett, wenigstens einen normalen deutschsprachigen Sender (ausgenommen ZDF-Info) anzubieten. Ansonsten war das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend und haben wirklich versucht einem den Aufenthalt, so angenehm wie nur möglich zu gestalten.

Hotel Ohla Eixample is a very well-located hotel, easily walkable to most attractions in the city, the waterfront, shopping and to a wide variety of restaurants. Our room and the entire property were modern and very clean. All hotel staff that we had the pleasure of interacting with were exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful. We’d definitely staff there again.

Fantastic hotel! The room was spotless. The public areas were very good. Excellent breakfast. That said, what sets this hotel well above the rest is the excellent staff. Friendly, courteous, and always helpful. Great hotel with a wonderful staff. I would not look at any other hotel if I return to Barcelona.

We enjoyed our stay at Ohla. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. It was close to shopping and great restaurants. They were helpful with our airport drivers, and helped us with pickup and departing schedules. The sushi restaurant was so wonderful we ate there twice. It was a very relaxing and clean property.

Everything was good. Staff were attentive, efficient and polite. Breakfast was too notch. On the other hand, room lights were confusing and the room telephone did not work. Minor stuff. If they were to have a sauna and jacuzzi it will put this hotel over the top. Thank you for making our 47th anniversary memorable.

A lovely hotel located in a pleasant neighbourhood with plenty of Bars and Restaurants. Our Room was extremely clean with plenty of space. Service was outstanding and breakfast was a tasty continental buffet with lovely hams and cheese. The bed room arrangement was a bit odd with a glass partition between the bedroom and the shower/bathroom. It might be an idea to install a curtain particularly if the room wasn't occupied by a couple

The hotel was in a convenient location and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of privacy with the layout of the bathroom in the room. The sink being in the main room and the shower having no door means you can't get up in the night without waking the other person. Other than that, a great stay.

Excellent from the first step into the hotel. A warm and friendly welcome from staff with hand towels and and a drink. Quick check-in and escort to our room. The room had a beautiful shower and a bathtub, seperated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Very spacious, equiped with a coffee station and options for tea. A decent sized couch and large comfortable bed. A gorgeous heated pool was located on the rooftop with a picturesque view of Barcelona. The dining options were fantastic. Xerta was given a Michilen star recently. Great options for the buffet breakfast with an a la carte menu. The staff made my stay very special for my birthday with a gift of champagne, a card and chocolates. Highly recommend staying here. Great transport links, amenities and restaurants within walking distance. I'm already preparing my next trip to Barcelona with Ohla Eixample.

The best service I’ve had in a hotel in a very long time. From accommodating an early check in, friendly staff, and excellent buffet brekky that includes free champagne to making us an early morning lunch box to take on the plane. Thanks team.

Fantastic hotel! The room was spotless. The public areas were very good. Excellent breakfast. That said, what sets this hotel well above the rest is the excellent staff. Friendly, courteous, and always helpful. Great hotel with a wonderful staff. I would not look at any other hotel if I return to Barcelona.

I found the penthouse / Atico terrace suite a little small for 2 people and was underwhelmed by the breakfast but otherwise I couldn’t have been happier with the stay, value, and vibe at the property. I usually stay at casa fuster or a high end apartment in Bcn which I visit once or twice a year at least, this property will be on my shortlist from now on. I had them book a massage for me the day of my arrival since it would be a few hours before typical check in but they thoughtfully moved me into an available room at 1030 or 11am the day of my arrival which I quite appreciated after flying in overnight. We enjoyed our stay at Ohla. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. It was close to shopping and great restaurants. They were helpful with our airport drivers, and helped us with pickup and departing schedules. The sushi restaurant was so wonderful we ate there twice. It was a very relaxing and clean property.

My friend and I stayed here. We each had our own rooms. The hotel is conveniently located near major tourist attractions; however, it's on a quieter street, which is nice. I booked this hotel because I stayed at their sister property in Ohio about a year ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t like this hotel. We are Hotels.com Gold members, and as a result, got an upgraded room and were supposed to get a bottle of wine. They only gave us one bottle, not considering that we had two rooms. The “upgraded” rooms themselves were smallish and boring but very clean and comfortable. I needed to print a document, and the hotel refused to print anything over 15 pages. This hotel advertised as a 5-star hotel, so refusing to print more than a 50-page document felt strange. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special. Overall, this hotel is nice, but it’s not a 5-star hotel, perhaps a 3.5 or 4-star, but it’s not luxurious or worth the room rate.

Ohla Eixample Hotel is located just outside Barcelona's very busy central tourist area. Therefore it is a 15-25 minute walk, 8 Euro cab ride, or 5 minute metro ride to many tourist attractions such as Sagrada Familia. The hotel rooms have a functional and beautiful layout and are very clean. The included breakfast is excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room was not made up in the 3 hours we were our of the hotel, after informing the front desk with the request upon leaving for the day. The overnight room service menú was sub-standard / basically inedible. There should not be an overnight room service menú if they can’t deliver food of a basic standard. Regular room service (before 11pm was great), but the overnight food was not as pictures, cold and favorless.

The location of the hotel was great and was walkable to many of the cities main attractions. Lots of shops, restaurants, tapas, and wine options to choose from. We were so impressed with every aspect of this hotel but most of all the willingness to help with directions, museum tickets, restaurant recommendations and sight seeing tips from the front desk staff truly set them apart from other hotels. Thank you Ohla Eixample for a wonderful stay in Barcelona. We will be back!

Gosto muito do hotel, ja me hospedei por mais de 5x. Os recepcionistas e demais staffs sao muito atenciosos mas o cafe da manha não é compativel com um Hotel 5 estrelas, com chave Michellin e que possui um restaurante om 1 estrela Michellin. Os sucos na maioria das vezes nao sao naturais, os paes (principalmentes os doces e o croissant sao sofriveis). Paes que fazem parte da cultura espanhola como as ensaimadas sao imposiveis de se comer. O jamon é de baixa qualidade, bem abaixo do de outros hoteis, mesmo de categoria inferior. Tem pouca opçao de frutas e as que tem sao cortadas sem delicadeza, em tamanhos enormes. Para se tomar um café ou cappuccino é preciso enfrentar filas pois sao em 3 maquinas e apenas uma tem leite. Os camareiros sao perdidos correm de um lado pro outro sem dar atençao necessaria aos hospedes e se falamos com os cozinheiros que ficam atras do balcao te olham de cara feia. Um dia pedi um simples omelete e esperei mais de 15 minutos. Isso precisa mudar urgentemente. Entendam como uma critica construtiva pois adoro o hotel e pretendo me hospedar outras vezes.

The room had a beautiful shower and a bathtub, seperated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Very spacious, equiped with a coffee station and options for tea. A decent sized couch and large comfortable bed. A gorgeous heated pool was located on the rooftop with a picturesque view of Barcelona. The dining options were fantastic. Xerta was given a Michilen star recently. Great options for the buffet breakfast with an a la carte menu. The staff made my stay very special for my birthday with a gift of champagne, a card and chocolates. Highly recommend staying here.
