Residence Theresia- Tailor Made Stay

Overall, I would rate our almost 3-week stay 4 stars. The location was excellent – right in the city centre, close to everything, and within walking distance of the train station. The apartment looked just like the pictures listed on Hotels.com and was overall very nice. There were a few small issues during our stay. The bathroom had quite a strong smell, and the apartment was a bit dark. On our first day, the curtains and curtain rod fell down, but luckily they were light and no one was hurt. Housekeeping during the three weeks was rather minimal, and I ended up doing an extra clean myself after one visit. Unfortunately, soap and toilet paper were never replenished during our stay, so we had to buy these ourselves. That said, we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the great location and comfortable apartment, and we would be happy to return again in the future.

Staff brilliantly secured check-in in spite of in-house (temporary) IT issues. Accommodation was clean and spacious. Special thanks to 'virtual check-in man' on check-in. Special thanks also to 'cleaner lady' on check-out for effective communication skills. It was the best of city centre living.

The room was way too hot. Was supposed to have a microwave but they said we must be lieing as it couldn't be missing even made us send photos to prove it. Very rude staff, bad English, would not go back if same staff.

Beautiful apartment in wonderful area. Very convenient to walk around trieste and was walkable from both the train station and cruise port. The only negative was trying to get the heat on. Would have loved some extra blankets if the heat can’t be adjusted. Overall would absolutely stay here again!! Lovely!
