No es la primera vez que vamos a este hotel, su ubicación en frente de Atocha es ideal si llegas en Ave. Las habitaciones son cómodas con todo tipo de comodidades, importante coger habitaciones interiores si queréis evitar ruidos de los coches. Desayuno espectacular, variado y el personal súper amable. Un buen gimnasio así como cafetería para tomar algo mientras haces una reunión de negocio. Sin duda, nuestra opción en Madrid.

Convenient location by main train station (Atocha) for metro, Cercanias and long distance trains. 5-10 minute walk to museums and Retiro Park. Great views from rooftop breakfast lounge with outdoor seating and a very good breakfast buffet. Elevators can be slow when busy. Lobby/lounge/restaurant area can get busy as well. Definitely a solid option when in Madrid.

We stayed at the Only You Atocha twice. The location is by Atocha station, El Retiro and the Museums, which was perfect for us. We walked into center city for other attractions. Everyone was lovely. We were frustrated when we wanted dinner and rooftop (which is really lovely) was closed for a special event and a waitress didn’t know what all was available but the manager stepped in and was fantastic. The layout of the place is different. We really liked the hotel.

The front and side of the street in front of the hotel is torn up and numerous pipes are being installed. Barricades and yellow tape surround the hotel. The lobby was filthy with dust from the construction tracked in by guests. We refused to stay and were denied a refund. Instead we went to their sister hotel Only You Boutique where we had stayed previously. The difference was like night and day. Once again we were treated like family. The hotel is spotless and the customer service the very best we have ever received. We left an important carry on when we left the hotel the following morning the front desk agent called our taxi when we were transit we returned and collected our important bag. Stay at The Only You Boutique not their sister hotel. It is the best hotel in Madrid. Dr William Boldt

Well located near the train and metro. Soap and body lotion should automatically be refilled; in our case it had not been when we checked in. We didn’t notice until we were in the shower. Once reported it was taken care of. Also, the hair dryer didn’t work. This I noticed after my shower at 10:30pm. Then it took two phone calls to get one located and delivered. Other than that, it was a quiet, comfortable and clean room. Staff was courteous and helpful.

⚪︎3泊しました。浴室にはシャワーのみです。備え付きのコンディショナーが切れていました。ドライヤーも壊れていて変えてもらいました。 ⚪︎ベッドの下に落とし物をして探すためにみたら、全然掃除がされていませんでした。 ⚪︎アトーチャ駅からとても近い。地下鉄も近くて便利です。ガラスの宮殿が工事中で残念でしたがホテルから散歩がてらによいです。 ⚪︎空港バスとかもあるようですが、早朝の出発のため、タクシーを読んでもらいました。 ⚪︎スタッフは話しやすく【英語とか苦手でしたが】良かったです。 ⚪︎円安のためか宿泊費は高かったです。 ⚪︎安心できるホテルでした。

We were excited to stay at the hotel based upon reviews but it was clear as soon as we arrived in Madrid that others were not truthful with their reviews. The front sidewalks of the hotel are under construction so while the hotel is across the street from the train station the walk to the hotel is twice as long and difficult to navigate. Access to the hotel is easier underground through the metro but you have to know how to do that. We booked a room for two with a queen bed. The bed was a full bed. There was only one towel in the room. When I called the front desk to complain reception insisted the bed was a queen. She said she would send an additional towel. 30 minutes later I had to call again in search of a towel. The room had a tiny window that overlooked the interior courtyard. We slept in a closet for $330. We were provided a kettle, some tea and one caffeinated nestle packet which was upsetting to discover in the morning as we were hoping to have coffee before leaving for the airport. When you book a room for two you expect towels and etc for two. Sad to have to ask twice for a towel. Sad to not know about the construction in advance.

o quarto em si é bom, o banheiro é pequeno, mas é bom também, mas o barulho é insuportável, de todos os tipos, buzinas, obras, sirenes, barulhos dos outros quartos, enfim acústica horrível. Infelizmente fui em uma época de refroma na frente do hotel que sexta as 23:00 tinha barulho e sábado as 7:00 também, então a nossa dormida foi horrível.

You could hear a lot of movements in other rooms. Constant sounds of footsteps echoing in the room. Hotel was next to a main intersection so the balcony opened into honking all day long. Street below also under construction so construction noises during the week. All in room items cost 2x-3x more than the corner store across the street.

I was offered for a 5 euro breakfast discount by the front desk and I accepted it. However, when I went to the cafe the next day, I was told that this was not offered to me. Despite this was resolved in the end, it was an unpleasant experience due to the poor communication and coordination between the front desk and cafe staff.

Fantastic staff, check-in/reception was a breeze, and the staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and fluent in English, which was a big help for me. I got an outstanding recommendation for dinner which frankly was the best food I had in my entire week in Madrid. Location was right across from the Atocha train station, and down the street from the Parque de Madrid. The Prado is close by as well as the Neptune fountain. As a courtesy I was given a late check out as my plane wasn’t leaving until 5:30 PM., which gave me time to explore more Madrid. Yes thanks.

Lovely hotel! Greeted us with a nice glass of cava (or water if you preferred). Upgraded our room due to our silver status. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Concierge service went above and beyond helping me find a local leather smith to purchase my daughter a purse. Housekeeping was great. Would definitely stay there again!

Whilst the room was great, client care was clearly lacking - a fact recognised by the hotel. Apologies were made but I am still waiting to hear from the hotel GM. It appeared that the hotel was understaffed as we were not offered assistance with luggage on arrival and service in the lobby cafe and séptima both left a lot to be desired. As a frequent guest at Only You Valencia I had high expectations for Madrid. These went unfulfilled. I doubt we will ever stay again with Only You Madrid Atocha.

Agradeszco a Marcos del personal de registro que fue muy atento, al igual que la Representante del concierge, que lamentablemente se me escapa el nombre, nos causaron una magnífica impresión, muy atentos a cada necesidad. El hotel tiene habitaciones bien cuidadas con decoración muy bonita. El desayuno es un buffet variado y completo. La Localización es perfecta para caminar al Museo del Prado y la estación del tren Atocha Almudena Grandes que está al cruzar la avenida. ¡Lo recomiendo!

The hotel is directly across from Madris Atocha train station with a metro entrance directly across the street. The lobby and bar experience were first rate as was the breakfast. Highly recommend.

The sidewalk in front of the hotel is under cunstruction, so it is a bit inconvenient, but not a big deal. The noise level is acceptable, but if you have a light sleep, take it into consideration. Of course, this is only temporary. I liked the decoration of the lobby, but I’m not a fan of the decoration of the halls. It’s conveniently located in front of the train station, so if you’re planning to use the train, it’s the best location. It is about 20 - 30 minutes away (walking) from Madrid center, so if you don’t mind a bit of walking, then it’s OK.

Overhaul very nice hotel very clean. The staff was very friendly. Didn’t appreciate the construction in front of the hotel, but that I blame Expedia, walking distance to Plaza, Mayor and el park del retiro. will stay there again.

Perfect location. Accross from Atocha, few mins walk from Museums of Reina Sofia and Prado, few mins from Retiro. Can’t ask for more. Great lobby, options to eat, have coffee, relax. Quality restaurant on top. Highly recommended.

This hotel is close to both high speed rail and a metro station. The Prado snd Reina Sofia art museums are walking distance as is the Jardin de Retiro. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and I didn’t see a lot of nearby breakfast options.. We also had a good late lunch in the hotel. The rooms and common areas of the hotel are very attractive and the staff helpful. We stayed in six hotel while in Spain and this was the best.

Excellent hotel with good vibe very close to train station. Two minor suggestions: 1. The lighting in some areas is too bright, requiring sunglasses to enter the bathroom! 2. Breakfast buffet has a very good selection, but is a bit disorganized, causing too much crisscrossing and doubling back.
