Friendly staff, food quality was not the greatest. No fresh fruit no complementary cookies like other Homes 2. In other states. The pool and gym was closed early. The shower wall had a big crack, they couldn't get my TV to work, had to change my room, big crack in that shower. Hotel was nice in the lobby but was dark and depressing when coming in at night.

The hotel looks neglected. Even just a fresh coat of paint would help it to look better. One of two elevators was out of order. The TV in our room did not work. Breakfast was convenience-store quality, maybe worse, and the woman serving it was surly. Reception staff were more appropriate at check-in and check-out. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Aside this and the front desk staff, there wasn’t much to like about this hotel.

I took my grandkids back to my home town to show them the schools I attended & the town I grew up in. Our room was large & AC cooled wonderfully . The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the indoor pool & said the water was warm & felt great. The desk clerks were attentive & very pleasant. Our room had a full size fridge, sink, microwave, & coffeemaker. The breakfast was good. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping including the Alexandria mall which was a really nice mall. I have no complaints & would definitely stay here again.

Room was not clean. Hair in the shower. Food crumbs in pull out sleeper sofa. Toilet worked, sometimes. Will not stay here again! Cannot recommend! Very disappointed.

The stay was great. The room was very clean and organized. The only flaw I saw was that in the shower on the floor there was a very long crack that needs to be repaired before someone injures themselves or get an infection.

The staff was amazing. But the room was a little dirty - mostly the carpet. I know they are renovating, so it will probably be better in the future. But it was safe and quiet, and the little workout room was great. If we needed to, we would stay there again.

Checkin was difficult, autoblind in room would not open, asked for a set of towels that were never delivered, had to fix the toilet myself, had to get cardkey reset. Breakfast was nice, appreciated the veteran parking spot. The bed was good and the room was clean. However, for what I paid I don't think I received full value. After I drive all day long I don't want to have to expend additional energy on solving issues that should not exist. I feel I received about 55% of what I paid for. The barking dogs were just a bonus.

Rooms are showing age - carpet frayed, window blind broken, barn door gets stuck. That being said, everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through. They has a very nice room with a full size refrigerator. They also had a very nice indoor pool, which is lovely after a long drive. The only complaint is the breakfast, not many options at all. The pancake batter where you make your own pancakes wasnt coming out and was edible. We were disappointed so we stopped and got breakfast elsewhere. The location is good and has plenty of restraunts near by.

I stayed here while my mother was in the hospital and it was extremely comfortable and convenient. They provided complimentary breakfast and washer/dryer use - which I needed on my week’s long stay. All hotel staff were excellent and professional. The lovely ladies of their cleaning crew were just so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was great with many options. The front desk were always eager to assist my husband and I. We have decided to make this our “home” when visiting home.❤️ And finally, I really want to thank Marissa at the front desk, again, for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She helped me to extend my stay so effortlessly. It was a blessing to me and my family. Thank you Home2Suites!😊

The room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint was the “free breakfast”. There was no milk or yogurt, the juice dispensers were empty, and the egg dish was in a back room because the steam table didn’t work. You shouldn’t advertise free breakfast if you aren’t able to provide it.
