The hotel is located in the Tangier medina. The front desk is open 24 hours. The staff is very kind, welcoming and polite. The lobby area is nicely designed. The free WiFi connection works very well. The room is comfortable. The view from the restaurant at 3rd floor is wonderful. The breakfast is good. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money.

It was hard to get to the hotel but the staff came to pick up our luggage. They made sure everything works for us like taking care of luggage or laundry. Location is fantastic. Breakfast was good. Restaurant was in the last floor with an amazing view.

Really great hotel the staff are amazing. The bellhop takes your bags to your room and even down the stairs to get to the ferry. The location can be a bit hard to find because it is in a Road but the shop owners are very helpful. While you are being checked in they ask you to sit down and have some Moroccan tea and a biscuit. Breakfast is more than any one person can eat. The restaurant is on the third floor with an outlook of the marina and the mosque.

We had a beautiful suite that was very clean. The WiFi worked great. The area was very noisy even on 3rd floor and hard to sleep at times. Breakfast was good, the staff made eggs to order and brewed coffee to order. Renovated boutique hotel with no elevator so going up and down 3 stories got tiring. Hotel was located at edge of Medina up a hill from ferry &/or taxis so lugging suitcase up hill/steps was a bit difficult. Overall nice hotel but be prepared to walk up lots of hills & stairs.

Well located however since it’s in the Medina getting there by taxi is not possible and finding it initially is a challenge. Many people willing to help whether you want it or not. Once we found it and dropped off our bags we were well taken care of.

Lovely hotel, conveniently located close to the Petit Socco and walking distance from the ferry port. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and dinner. Great views from the terrace restaurant. Although some aspects of the room are dated, it was comfortable, clean and well maintained. To note it is located next to the Grand Mosque so there will be regular calls to prayer.

The hotel is in the medina. you need to carry your lugguge 50 stairs. Inside the is no elevator. so , if you are omn your own with small carry on , you are good to go. i like the place , it is my spot in Tangier. yet if you come with family , it might be a challange

Personnel accueillant et agréable. Chambres plutôt calmes avec clim.

Staff was delightful, greeting us with tea and homemade date cookies on arrival, as our luggage was instantly whisked away to our room the moment we walked in. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was bright and clean and had a nice view. The hotel's restaurant on the top floor was wonderful! Great food and equally great prices. On a return to Tangier, we wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was very clean, quiet, and in a great location close to shops and transport. The bed was comfortable, and the check-in process was easy. The host was friendly and responsive, which made the stay even better. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again.

I was in a single room that was unclean and with an unpleasant odour. Minimal amenities are provided, a single sachet of shampoo and a small bar of soap. Not even a bottle of water. Front desk staff are friendly. Breakfast room is delightful, beautiful view and a set and simple menu. Smoking is allowed inside the breakfast restaurant which was awful while eating. The grand mosque is right beside the hotel. You will hear the call to prayer as if it’s inside your room, it’s that loud. I personally loved the ambiance of this but others may not.

Overall 4/5 Booked a supreme twin room, bur didnt feel supreme. Felt like a normal room. Shower is a bit small. Bed side was a bit broken but didnt bother me Room could be bigger. Hospitality is great. Service is great.

The location, right in the old city and with a view out over the port, is wonderful. However, the beds were *incredibly* uncomfortable--they were so hard that I literally checked under the sheets to make sure they were on mattresses and not just foam pads.

The hotel is very well located, in an area close to the port and at the entrace of the souks. The staff is extremely polite and constantly helpful. The property is rather old and tradtional but refurbished and well kept. Our room was small but the beds and matresses were super comfortable. The bathroom has no ventilation and stays damp after a shower. It is convenient mainly because of location, although it is very difficult to get to the door of the hotel since there are very high and steep stairs to reach the street where the main entrance is.

Stayed here for our 25th Anniversary. We booked the Royal Room and it was worth every extra penny. The view was fabulous overlooking the port. Hotel was clean, staff were awesome from bellboy to housekeeping. Location was prime in the Old Medina, we walked everywhere. Only caution I’ll advise for older or infirm patrons, is there are no lifts and the rooms are spread over the upper floors. Personally we had no issues 😊

Location in the Medina/old city quite far from the beach. Took us 30 mins to walk to the beach - not a good option for families in the Aug heat. However, quite close to the main square, bazaar/shopping areas. Breakfast was traditional Morroccan and served fresh. Enjoyed the breakfast with family. 3 flights of stairs to go to the suite room - as there are no lifts. Great view of the bay from the terrace/breakfast area(not from the room). Friendly staff, ready to help. Staff at reception helped arrange for day's sightseeing & transfer to Rabat, although at an expensive amount of 2400 MAD, with a non-English speaking driver.

The staff, Ismail and Othman were very helpful. If they didn’t know the answer they found out for us. The 2 manager were very helpful. They got us a guide and also 2 taxi drivers to take us on a few day excursions. Property was situated perfectly for us. Right across from the port and in the middle Medina.

We booked the quadruple room for 2 nights, and we’re extremely happy with the accommodations and excellent service received from everyone at the Mamora Bay. Upon arrival we’re welcomed with delicious Moroccan tea, which we enjoyed drinking in their charming lobby. Our room was spacious and super clean; same as all the hallways at the hotel. The restaurant was simply amazing. Great food, well decorated and nice view. Overall, a great vibe at the Mamora. In the surrounding area, there are many other restaurants just steps away from the hotel, as well as plenty of shops to buy souvenirs. The location was perfect for us because we took a ferry from the Tarifa port; and it was less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Mamora Bay will definitely go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Special thanks to Zohra, Yassine, Mchich, Ismail and Othman! We appreciate your hospitality and great service!

We loved our stay at the Mamora Bay hotel! The staff went way out of their way to send a driver to pick us up, despite changing schedules, communication was perfect, and personal, they arranged wonderful guides. Location near port and medina (old town) both lovely and convenient. Clean comfortable rooms, with access to walled garden, great food in rooftop restaurant. Cannot say enough good things!

The location can be a bit hard to find because it is in a Road but the shop owners are very helpful. While you are being checked in they ask you to sit down and have some Moroccan tea and a biscuit. Breakfast is more than any one person can eat. The restaurant is on the third floor with an outlook of the marina and the mosque.

Staff was delightful, greeting us with tea and homemade date cookies on arrival, as our luggage was instantly whisked away to our room the moment we walked in. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was bright and clean and had a nice view. The hotel's restaurant on the top floor was wonderful! Great food and equally great prices. On a return to Tangier, we wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

This was my second stay at Mamora. The staff friendly and helpful. The food and service in the restaurant excillent. The chicken tagine delicious. I was also lucky to get the same room as last time when I stayed here. This made me feel like coming home. The hotel is situated in the medina and everything you need is close by. 2 doors from the hotel you can buy Moroccon SIM-card or reload, which I find very convinient. Also a small grocery-kiosk close to the hotel where you can buy water. A big thank you to everyone in the staff who made me feel like coming home. I will be back.

The stay was excellent. Check in was easy and the tea upon check in was an additional bonus. The room was tidy, the bathroom was tidy and soap was provided, but the real treat was breakfast! The service and the view were amazing for breakfast!

This Mamora Hotel is a gem in the middle of the old city of Tangier. I got there really early in the morning (8:30a, well before check-in time of 2pm, and Zakaria, the front desk manager who was doing overnight, offered my breakfast (as his guest), while i was waiting for the room to be ready. Absolutely amazing Magrebi Arabic hospitality! The hotel's location is absolutely superb. Its right adjacent to the lively traditional souk/market, 5 minutes walk from the port of Tangier, where you can buy tickets for and board the City Tour hop-on-hop-off double decker bus (a must do, especially the 2 hour tour), and also easy to walk to the Ferry terminal to take the ferry to Tarifa, Spain. Best stay ever, and will definitely come again.

Great location near the Petit Socco. Staff were professional. Breakfast was buffet style, unlike other riads I stayed at. Noise carries easily through the central atrium, so I could hear conversations and even snoring from other rooms, which was a bit of a downside. Still, the medina itself was very quiet at night, and I slept well. If you’re arriving with a suitcase from the pier or beach, take the sloped path—Google Maps may direct you to stairs, which is difficult.

The hotel staff are very nice and friendly- they helped us with all our enquiries even allowed us to change rooms when i requested a bigger room- restaurant staff are very nice and there is a nice view for breakfast The rooms were alright - clean but quite basic Hotel has no lift and we were on the top floor which was quite tiring - there is no private parking you park at the bottom and they you have to go up 3 flight of stairs to get to the hotel which is not good when you have luggage or tired - Location wise you are in the medina and near the port but there is a lot of beggers around here

Well located however since it’s in the Medina getting there by taxi is not possible and finding it initially is a challenge. Many people willing to help whether you want it or not. Once we found it and dropped off our bags we were well taken care of.

Great views from the terrace restaurant. Although some aspects of the room are dated, it was comfortable, clean and well maintained. To note it is located next to the Grand Mosque so there will be regular calls to prayer.

Just located in between Madina and port , best location . Not easy to find if it is your first time in Morocco . Our flight was delayed and arrived in midnight . the reception staff is very friendly and help us ordered shuttle service and asked a helper picked up us in the road which make our trip is much smoothly and easier. We appreciate their help and all suggestions . The breakfast area on third floor , you can enjoy breakfast and same time enjoy the beautiful view .

We loved this hotel ! We came over on the ferry from Tarifa for just 2 days... we walked from the ferry to this hotel and the next day met our camel excursion a walk away too ! We ate a delicious dinner and breakfast in the restaurant seated in the corner table with a beautiful view of the harbor ! And... the staff were AMAZING ! Would absolutely recommend this hotel!!

We loved this place: a warm welcome, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for you, a clean room with comfortable beds, an excellent breakfast with views looking out over Tangier, all within easy walking distance of the old town. The hotel restaurant was excellent too and we had the best tagine of the whole stay there. I really can't fault this place - thoroughly recommended.

The hotel staff are especially thoughtful and supportive, the breakfast of Moroccan tradition was hearty , convenient access to either the medina or the main street to the marina and beach. Across the street is a very good restaurant for evening food. The hotel restaurant has beautiful view of the harbour.

I felt really welcome at Mamora Bay. The pricing is very reasonable, the staff is very helpful and the rooftop restaurant has good food and great views. Also, the ferry to Spain and most sights are within walking distance. Would be happy to stay there again, if I return to Tangier.

Staff was very friendly and attentive for our needs. Cafe with complimentary breakfast had a great view and good was great. We also ate dinner there one night which was very good. Additionally the front desk set us up with an amazing guide to the city. All in all a great experience.

One of the best stay experiences I've had. The staff were extremely helpful and approachable. Any queries were answered to their best effort and they made us feel very welcome. All of the staff were great, special mention to Tarik at the front desk and Karim in the dining area who added to the great service. The rooms were clean and housekeeping staff were thorough and excellent with their work. We had a great time in Tangier and a bit reason for that is Mamora Bay hotel. Would definitely stay there again the next time we come to Tangier.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The en-suite was fine if a bit small with no where to leave toiletries. The location was ideal, close to shops but the hotel was elevated from the main shopping area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection was excellent and we enjoyed an evening meal also.
