Do yourself a favor and stay here! Firstly, the hospitality that we received during our stay was A1. Any questions/necessities were always answered in the utmost timely manner. They even organized for a transport from the airport to the hotel for us. Aesthetically, it is a very pleasing hotel. There are common areas where you can lounge around while being in the sacred valley. Rooms were great, beds were super comfortable, shower water was warm. Location is also great, a 2-3 minute walk from the plaza de armas, allowing the hotel to be quiet at night while you want to sleep. If it wasn’t clear, I recommend Parwa for all of my friends and family! Thank you for the hospitality to Jorge and his family.

This may be my favorite place to stay ever. Charming building with a beautiful courtyard. It was comfortable and quiet with a lovely breakfast. And Jorge and his staff are just wonderful. We didn't want to leave.

This place had the fluffiest down comforter ever. Like sleeping in a cloud. Small intimate stay with great staff. When you arrive you will have to go up a few flights of stone steps to arrive at the hotel but if you go farther down the path (opposite direction of street) you can easily walk to the main square on the old walking streets. We loved Ollantay & this place

We chose Parwa House based on a YouTube video we saw and our actual experience was superior to that portrayed! Jorge is truly a super-host and he is ably assisted by his wife and family. Our quiet room was very nice with an amazing view ,a quality and very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Our breakfasts were very good with a wide assortment of choices. Our stay was for three nights and we also had an excellent and very reasonably priced laundry service provided. Jorge arranged for us to be picked up at Cusco airport by Felipe, who not only provided shuttle to and from Ollantaytambo, but also served as our driver over the course of our 3 day stay to and from various visits throughout the Sacred Valley. Jorge speaks very good English and recommended we also contract with his nephew Marisimo for guide services. WOW, what can we say about Marisimo- a college trained guide who not only spoke excellent English , but whose depth of knowledge and guidance greatly enriched our overall travel experience!! We highly recommend Parwa Guest House as a great B&B, Jorge as a wonderful super-host, and staying in the authentic and charming Ollantaytambo as a focal point of exploring the Sacred Valley!

The perfect place to explore the area. A very short walk to the main plaza square. Very clean and nice. All the staff are very helpful and nice. We are able to leave our luggage while we hike the Inca trail and we'll be getting it in a week a week and I can write more

An excellent place to start and finish your Inca adventure in Peru’s Sacred Valley. Easily walkable to all of Ollantaytambo and transport can easily be arranged to explore, Chinchero, Moray, Salinaras and Machu Picchu. The staff (FAMILY) are wonderfully hospitable. The breakfast was tasty, healthy always served with a warm smile. The property is beautiful with a lush garden with colorful flowers, where you can rock on the hammock gazing up at the ruins and surrounding Andes Mountains. The room was clean and spacious with lovely views. The host helped plan excursions that were always guided by safe drivers allowing us to just relax and be part of Perú. Overall I enjoyed the 5 night stay and honestly can recommend it to all.

I would recommend staying here. Jorge was so welcoming and friendly on my arrival, and kindly helped me with my bad Spanish throughout the stay,(his English is excellent). The location is 3 minutes walk from the main square, so very convenient, the hotel offers laundry service and serves a good breakfast. It had everything I needed and more and I would be delighted to stay there again

Nothing exceptional about this place. Pros: Great location, albeit not directly accessible by car (the stairs from the street to the house are steep). Jorge was friendly and helped us with bags and bag storage while we were away at Machu Picchu. Cons: Unfortunately, in the second room we stayed at after returning from Machu Picchu, we did not have hot water. Staff spent an hour trying to fix it and then blamed it on water pressure - except the cold water pressure was excellent. This left us without hot water the first night. The owner didnt even follow up to ask if we're still having issues or to apologize. The next day, i asked him to address the hot water issue and it turned out to be a quick fix, until one of us took a shower and we were left without hot water for the rest of our family. He never apologized for the inconvenience.

First of all, we were told that our reservation is not there and then he found out when I showed the confirmation. Water was dripping/leaking from the roof during our stay, no hot water at all (reported to the front desk and he said they are out of gas)- our family including kids took a cold shower we it was raining outside :( water leak and stagnant water in the kitchen area, breakfast is not great (just banana and bread) Poorly maintained and would like a refund for this poor experience - not worth it at all

Our room was very clean and had an amazing view. This friendly, family-run hotel made us feel right at home. Jorge, the host, was kind and helpful - he went out of his way to assist us when my partner and I were both feeling unwell. We’re incredibly grateful for his hospitality. Highly recommend!

Everyone was very nice just like every Peruvian we’ve interacted with. However, at least our room was not up to what we expected. Foots were dirty, bathroom sink leaked water onto the floor, and it was VERY loud. We could hear people speaking upstairs and on the streets very clearly, and got woken up very early in the morning by the very loud doorbell and people talking. I would not stay here again, it wasn’t a place to rest.

This appeared to be a family run hotel. All of the staff was very friendly, professional, and attentive. The property was very clean and very pretty! Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous! The table was set just for our family (and additional tables were set specifically for other guests as well). Assorted fruit was served with bread and jams and a large plate of scrambled eggs. We would stay here again!

The owner and family at the guesthouse are very nice people, and the actual room we stayed in was in good condition and clean when we arrived. However my biggest criticism is that wifi was fully unusable in the room, and that every night hundreds of small flies would enter the room. This would be fine by itself, but room service is only everyother day, so it meant coming back to a room covered in dead flies. Despite this i still think this is one of the better options in Ollantaytambo.

Jorge was super friendly and responsive, on WhatsApp if he wasn’t on site. Clean room and comfortable bed. Spectacular views and quiet location but still very short walk to everything. Breakfast was excellent. We’d recommend Parwa Guesthouse very highly.

On the first night, when my sister took the shower, the water was barely lukewarm. Very soon, it turned completed cold, and then the cold water also stopped flowing after a few minutes. My sister was in the shower with shampoo in her hairs! We told the host, but he cannot do anything and asked us to try again the next morning. We had to use the bottled water we purchased to brush our teeth, and we cannot flush the toilet. The cold water started trickling in the morning with no hot water. When we returned from our day trip the second day, I ask the host if we had hot water. He said yes. Then the same thing happened again. There was some hot water (with fluctuating temperatures) for a few minutes, once the hot water stopped flowing, the cold water also stop flowing after a few minutes. The host waived our laundry cost (110 soles, less than USD$30) to make this up, but the compensation was so trivial compared to the USD$300+ rent we had to pay for the two-room suite, considering it failed to provide the most essential water required for lodging. The place also has no AC or heat. We had to open the windows to cool the room to sleep, but it became too cold when it's near the sunrise. I got a sore throat and a cold when I woke up in the cold air. We were so disappointed with this disastrous experience.

Fantastic service from Jorge. He woke up early one morning to make us breakfast and arranged a car for us. The shower only had 2 settings though: cold or shooting off the back wall and onto the floor.

We enjoyed our stay here. Relative to the other hotels around, I thought this was a very comfortable stay. Jorge was really helpful and coordinated safe and flexible transport. Bed was comfortable and room was nice. Few notes: 1. Walls are pretty thin, but overall pretty quiet 2. WiFi is incredibly slow, we just used cellular more often than not

I will give a 5 star review for the location and experiance of been in an old Inca town. The water temperature was difficult to control. The service was unimpressive. They don't make an effort to go the extra mile. You're just another passing customers.

The owner and family at the guesthouse are very nice people, and the actual room we stayed in was in good condition and clean when we arrived. However my biggest criticism is that wifi was fully unusable in the room, and that every night hundreds of small flies would enter the room. This would be fine by itself, but room service is only everyother day, so it meant coming back to a room covered in dead flies. Despite this i still think this is one of the better options in Ollantaytambo.

Nothing exceptional about this place. Pros: Great location, albeit not directly accessible by car (the stairs from the street to the house are steep). Jorge was friendly and helped us with bags and bag storage while we were away at Machu Picchu. Cons: Unfortunately, in the second room we stayed at after returning from Machu Picchu, we did not have hot water. Staff spent an hour trying to fix it and then blamed it on water pressure - except the cold water pressure was excellent. This left us without hot water the first night. The owner didnt even follow up to ask if we're still having issues or to apologize. The next day, i asked him to address the hot water issue and it turned out to be a quick fix, until one of us took a shower and we were left without hot water for the rest of our family. He never apologized for the inconvenience.

Do yourself a favor and stay here! Firstly, the hospitality that we received during our stay was A1. Any questions/necessities were always answered in the utmost timely manner. They even organized for a transport from the airport to the hotel for us. Aesthetically, it is a very pleasing hotel. There are common areas where you can lounge around while being in the sacred valley. Rooms were great, beds were super comfortable, shower water was warm. Location is also great, a 2-3 minute walk from the plaza de armas, allowing the hotel to be quiet at night while you want to sleep. If it wasn’t clear, I recommend Parwa for all of my friends and family! Thank you for the hospitality to Jorge and his family.

It was very much appreciated that the hotel host went extra mile to help me confirm my Inca Trail trek pickup with my tour provider in Cusco because my own phone would not be able to make direct call in Peru. It’s a very friendly place to stay.

Parwa Guest House in Ollantaytambo was a very nice place to stay. they held our luggage for three days as we went to Machu Picchu. They recommended an excellent restaurant in Ollantaytambo town square where we ate after dropping off our luggage. We ate there again when we returned. Parwa Guest House serves a delicious breakfast starting with a very nice fruit bowl. It had a bed and breakfast feel to it. Jorge and his wife are so friendly, and they helped us with other questions we had before our trip started. I would definitely stay here again.

Jorge was super friendly and responsive, on WhatsApp if he wasn’t on site. Clean room and comfortable bed. Spectacular views and quiet location but still very short walk to everything. Breakfast was excellent. We’d recommend Parwa Guesthouse very highly.

We chose Parwa House based on a YouTube video we saw and our actual experience was superior to that portrayed! Jorge is truly a super-host and he is ably assisted by his wife and family. Our quiet room was very nice with an amazing view ,a quality and very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Our breakfasts were very good with a wide assortment of choices. Our stay was for three nights and we also had an excellent and very reasonably priced laundry service provided. Jorge arranged for us to be picked up at Cusco airport by Felipe, who not only provided shuttle to and from Ollantaytambo, but also served as our driver over the course of our 3 day stay to and from various visits throughout the Sacred Valley. Jorge speaks very good English and recommended we also contract with his nephew Marisimo for guide services. WOW, what can we say about Marisimo- a college trained guide who not only spoke excellent English , but whose depth of knowledge and guidance greatly enriched our overall travel experience!! We highly recommend Parwa Guest House as a great B&B, Jorge as a wonderful super-host, and staying in the authentic and charming Ollantaytambo as a focal point of exploring the Sacred Valley!

This is a wonderful property that is 5 minutes away from the archeological site and 10 minutes (walking) from the train station. We had an early departure and Jorge got up super early to make a homemade breakfast for us. It was delicious and deeply appreciate his hospitality.

We had a lovely stay at the Parwa Guest House. Our room had a wonderful view overlooking the ruins in Ollyantaytambo. It was also very convenient for walking to the train station for our early morning trip to Machu Picchu. The owner recommended a restaurant in the square which ended up being one of the best meals of our trip. Highly recommended!

There are so many wonderful things about Parwa Guest House. I will start by saying the owner Jorge, is so warm and welcoming. Upon arrival, he upgraded our room just because and the king bed was sooo comfy! His nephew, Mauricio, also works the bed & breakfast and he helped us book tours and day trips and even offered to be our guide for the day & what an amazing guide he was. He arranged for a taxi to drive us to each location for the whole day and he taught us so much of the history of the sacred valley. Any questions we had, they answered aptly and they made us feel like family. Jorge even helped us get a taxi to pick us up at 3am to go to the airport on our last day. All around, it was an amazing stay and Jorge and Mauricio go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable & like they’re home. The next time we come to Peru, we are staying at Parwa and we look forward to seeing the whole family again!

It was right around the corner of the main plaza so was very walkable. The area is quiet which we really appreciated and the mountain view right outside our room was breathtaking. Breakfast is included and starts at 7:30am.

The views at this hotel were lovely and the hotel is really pretty with a lot of character. It was very clean and the staff was very kind upon check in. It can be a bit tricky to find. The only complaint we had is that it can be quite loud at night with the chickens and dogs in the area but it’s part of the rural experience. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee or tea, granola and yoghurt. All very fresh and healthy.

This place had the fluffiest down comforter ever. Like sleeping in a cloud. Small intimate stay with great staff. When you arrive you will have to go up a few flights of stone steps to arrive at the hotel but if you go farther down the path (opposite direction of street) you can easily walk to the main square on the old walking streets. We loved Ollantay & this place

If you come to Ollantaytambo, this is a beautiful place to stay. The property is in the old part of the town where the water flows down from the mountains in small canals on the edge of the street, and the doorways are the Incan shape (in case of earthquakes). From the property you can see the ruins of Pinkuylluna on the mountain behind, and you can catch glimpses of the Ollantaytambo ruins through the trees on the opposite side of the valley. The property is a short walk from the main square, and a downhill 10 minute walk to the station. There are mototaxis to come back uphill from the station, if you have luggage. We spent a happy morning at the Ollantaytambo ruins with a guide, which was helpful to understand what we were seeing and standing on, and the views across the valleys is magnificent. The crowds come later in the day. There is a small, pretty market for souvenirs at the foot of the ruins.

Charming guesthouse close to the center of Ollantaytambo. Jorge is so very kind and attentive. He prepared a hot breakfast for us earlier than he usually serves breakfast so we could eat before our early train to Machu Picchu.

Simple and welcoming, Parwa is the perfect place for budget-conscious travellers to take their rest. It's an outstanding value for the price, giving you everything you need (but nothing you don't). The beds are comfy and shampoo, towels, and soap are provided. Breakfast is simple, yet surprisingly delicious and includes a bowl of fresh and thoughtfully cut fruits; moist scrambled eggs; and oddly addictive loaves of flattened local bread with butter and marmelade. Best of all, Jorge and his family are warm and hospitable, happy to help and yet never intrusive. Wishing that Parwa house becomes so busy that you have no more free time to teach me Spanish. Had an enjoyable stay at this family run guest house. The property is well located for exploring the historical streets of Ollantaytambo and is within a 10 minute walk to the main square or entrance to the ruins. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the train station or a moto taxi is available. Facility is immaculately clean and rooms have a rustic charm. The included breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, rolls and jam with cereal and eggs also available. Breakfast was small but tasty and sufficient to start our day. The owners are wonderful people who made us feel very welcome. They were very helpful during our stay. The only negative about was lack of sufficient hot water at times. But we would definitely stay at Parea Guest House again.

An excellent place to start and finish your Inca adventure in Peru’s Sacred Valley. Easily walkable to all of Ollantaytambo and transport can easily be arranged to explore, Chinchero, Moray, Salinaras and Machu Picchu. The staff (FAMILY) are wonderfully hospitable. The breakfast was tasty, healthy always served with a warm smile. The property is beautiful with a lush garden with colorful flowers, where you can rock on the hammock gazing up at the ruins and surrounding Andes Mountains. The room was clean and spacious with lovely views. The host helped plan excursions that were always guided by safe drivers allowing us to just relax and be part of Perú. Overall I enjoyed the 5 night stay and honestly can recommend it to all.

The room was clean and spacious with lovely views. The host helped plan excursions that were always guided by safe drivers allowing us to just relax and be part of Perú. Overall I enjoyed the 5 night stay and honestly can recommend it to all.

We visited Parwa guest house with two kids, 6 and 9 years old. Jorge is a great host and very friendly. Breakfast was good, and the location is also very good. Great views of the Ollantaytambo fortress and walking distance to the main square and restaurants. Would definitely come back.

Jorge and Mauricio maintain the property beautifully and are incredibly receptive to feedback. We had a wonderfully peaceful and quiet stay. They even helped arrange our taxi rides to and from Cusco. This is a highly trustworthy place with fantastic hosts—we would love to come back!

Highly recommend. Jorge and the others were fantastic hosts. The room was quiet, clean and so comfortable that I had such a good nights sleep. The breakfast is amazing as well! Wish I could have stayed longer. Definitely book this spot if you’re visiting.
