Check in time was meant to be 3:00pm, the room wasn't ready, we were asked to wait for a text message while room cleaning was prioritised, 40mins later I enquired again and was told the room is ready, what happened to the text? Checking out 11:00am Sunday was told to wait a short amount of time while our car was retrieved from valet parking, after watching three people get their car that checked out after us a QT employee asked what we were waiting for, he then retrieved our car about 45mins after checkout. Not great service for an expensive room.

We loved the hotel itself and the rooftop bar accessibility. A lovely room with great amenities. Especially loved the Dyson hairdryer. Unfortunately the gym was run down with old equipment, very small and the bikes didn't work properly. One of the treadmills had a loose connection also. We picked the hotel because it had a gym but it was nothing like the pictures.

Breakfast was excellent, Ali was always friendly, room very clean, quiet with excellent bed. Hairdryer was great. Rooftop bar was a bit chaotic with 20 mins for service. Overall the hotel was brilliant and staff very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Unfortunately, the rooftop bar (one of the main reasons we chose this hotel) was closed on one of the two nights we stayed for a "private event" which was hugely disappointing - especially as we had arranged to meet friends there. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night. The food was good, service could have been better. The reception staff and car valet were top notch.

I stayed at the QT Melbourne hotel for three days. The staff were friendly, but one morning, I ordered a crepe for breakfast, which was excessively sweet. Another issue was with housekeeping; they didn’t change the sheets during my stay. In fact, there were a few stains on the sheets on the second and third days, and they didn’t address them.

Holes in the curtains - Massive amount of condensation on the windows Interface on tv keep freezing very clunky One day no room service despite tag on the door requesting same. We have photos of the curtains extreme condensation. This place isn’t cheap and we expected better for the price.

Staff forgot to make our room one day but quickly corrected it when we told management. Best part of this hotel is its location - so close to everything such as Southbank, Yarra River, Melbourne Museum, restaurants, shopping, etc. Being in the heart of the CBD is very convenient. Hotel is also very swanky with its artsy look and we liked the hardwood floors - much nicer than the usual carpet.

Cool hotel. Loved the Dyson hairdryer and Kevin Murphy products. Bed was comfortable. Sadly air con didn’t really work but lucky it wasn’t a heat wave. Breakfast was overrated given the price. Better options around given the $50 pp.

The staff are very professional and helpful. Be warned that the sound and traffic noise from Russell Street can be heard from the rooms at the front of the hotel, so if you are a light sleeper, you may need to request a room at the back of the hotel. Highly recommend the rooftop bar!

Was a great stay, convenient for shopping etc the room was nice and clean and offered plenty of refreshments. The only downfall was the noise from the street was extremely loud and impacted our sleep.

A wonderfully artisan hotel with beautifully appointed decor both in the common areas as well as in the room. The location is very close to the theatre district so it was easy to go to a great restaurant nearby and walk to see our show. Would highly recommended to people looking for a “cool vibe” and also appreciate sophistication.

I arrived at the hotel after receiving confirmation and paying for the hotel and on arrival they told me they didn't have any rooms available and didn't ever try to resolve the issue! It was midnight and couldn't get another hotel that night. It was an absolute disaster

Really liked the location and proximity to tram. Staff was nice, we had 4 nights recently and really enjoyed our stay. The TV had HDMI ports available so I could plug in and watch TV off my device wgi h was great and made for an enjoyable experience while at the hotel. Rooftop bar was good and had nive views and atmosphere.

Nice hotel with a funky modern decor. Corner king room was large, with a great tub, bathrooms and furnishings. Loses marks because the room wasn’t ready and it’s a noisey location on Russel street. Great location near to Chinatown, Bourke Street mall, Theatre district and sporting precinct (Rod Laver and MCG). Also plenty of cool bars and restaurants at the top end of Flinders lane and high end shopping at Collins street. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

We have stayed here before and opted to go back for this trip. If you decide to stay at this property check your room type because there is MAJOR construction - looks like an office tower- across the street with piling starting at 7am! We understand there will be noise with staying in the middle of the city - but this is far above normal city noise and distraction. We were offered to change to another part of the hotel - however, they asked us to downgrade our room. Not ideal.

It was nice to have an upgrade and much appreciated! The room itself was beautiful. However, the tv wasn’t great and the streaming would regularly cut out. The tv also kept getting blurry lines through it. On Friday, I answered the door while working to someone asking about the minibar and I asked when housekeeping was coming so I could schedule my lunch break around this. I was told whenever I needed and I asked for in half an hour. Housekeeping did not come even within that hour and then I had to put up a do not disturb sign as I had meetings. I had to later call down and ask for housekeeping and they attended. On Saturday I had a couple of friends stop by in my room to charge their phone and we ordered room service. The food was cold and kindly we were not charged for this when I raised this issue at check out. Thank you. However we called down and asked for an extra mug and chair and told they would be brought to the room soon. They never arrived. It is in the food and customer service I think that a hotel really excels and I think this hotel just isn’t there.

Uns war der coole Style des Hotels dann doch ein wenig zu cool: Einmal eingecheckt, wird man vom Personal in der Lobby völlig ignoriert, solange man niemanden anspricht. Unser Zimmer war ziemlich abgewohnt, und der worst case eines jeden Hotelaufenthalts hat uns ereilt: durchgelegene Betten. Und: Vorsicht Falle im Restaurant: Wir haben eine Flasche Wein bestellt (ausdrücklich eine Flasche). Die Bedienung hat die Flasche gebracht, eingeschenkt und wieder mitgenommen, mit der Begründung, den Wein "frischzuhalten". Als wir nach dem zweiten Nachschenken fragten, ob die Flasche denn nun nicht leer wäre, eröffnete sie uns, dass wir keine Flasche, sondern einen Wein per Glas bestellt hätten. Eine ganz üble Masche, die wir in 13 Australienreisen noch nie erlebt hatten. Somit bezahlten wir 160 Dollar für vier Gläser Wein. Ähnlich das Frühstück: Von der Karte ist nur ein Item und (man glaubt es kaum) ein Heißgetränk enthalten. Alles weitere ist extra zu bezahlen.
