Everybody was really friendly and accommodating. The beds were super comfortable, the blackout curtains worked well and it was pretty quiet. The keys need to be in the slot to use the electricity which is nice. Shower was comfortable, big and good water, pressure enough hot water etc. Jim was decent and the pools look nice. It was just too chilly during our stay to use them. The bar also had a nice vibe

The staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The town of Evora was lovely and we were very pleased to spend the night there when all the day trippers had gone. We wished we knew the hotel swimming pool required the use of a cap and flip flops before we went.

La mia unica grande perplessità è su quella che loro definiscono “spa”: una piscina interna in un ambiente riscaldato, completamente sprovvista di idromassaggio, di sauna e bagno turco. The hotel is very close the the old city and is very walkable to all the sites. The rooftop bar and pool were both closed for maintenance during the visit, and there wasn't even any signage for the rooftop.

Great hotel and great location. On a hot day, lounging by the pool for a couple hours provided welcome relief. Easy walk to everything and the underground parking garage was super convenient. Would definitely stay again.

From the quick check-in process to the clean common areas and room, this hotel has exactly what you’ll be looking for in Evora. The hotel is well-situated and is very close to the historic sites and many great places to grab a pasty, lunch, or dinner. I was able to see everything and try various food by walking anywhere from 3 to 15 mins around the hotel. It’s also about a 14 minute walk to the train station which is great. More specifically, the staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel had a very modern yet warm ambience. The toiletries in the washroom smelled nice and felt like they were high quality. The linens were clean and fresh and the blackout curtains and soundproof rooms made for a very restful sleep!

A newer hotel, with nice decore. Very similar to business travel hotels in North America. The underground parking beneath the hotel was easy and convenient, with direct elevator access to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. No on-site dinner option during our stay, but with so many good local restaurants within a 5-15 minute walk, never an issue. The room was a basic hotel room, quiet outside, but lots of mechanical noise at night from the room walls -- deducting one star for the difficulty sleeping with the noise. Otherwise, a pleasant and safe choice of hotel, better than most.

A beautiful property with very nice design. Staff was very helpful and friendly, parking was easy and you can walk to everything Évora has to offer. The facilities were starting to fall into disrepair - the window in our room was broken, for instance - and they oddly don’t provide conditioner in the room, which is inconvenient for people with long hair (like me).

The hotel is nicely designed with very calming decor. However, for a four star hotel they didn’t have any tea/coffee making amenities in the room, no robe or slippers. I did get a robe by going to reception myself, thanks to the helpful staff members at reception. For tea/coffee, I suppose you can buy at the bar. We have been travelling in other Portuguese towns that week, staying at similar hotels and this lack of above amenities compared to the other places was a bit of a shock.

Hotel was very modern and clean and in a great location close to centre of the town. Buffet breakfast has all the options you would expect, well presented with some local produce and eggs to order. Nice, and reasonably priced pre dinner cocktails available (they make a good Mojito). Room had a nice view of the cathedral and only downside was lack of a kettle in the room to make tea/coffee.

Little to no sound proofing between rooms, bathroom so small you can barely turn around and A/C takes hours to cool the room down. Definitely not a 4 star experience.

Limited staffing. Only one at the desk and it took a while to register. Restaurant and bar closed the day we arrived due to staffing. No sign noting the parking garage entrance which is really not wise. Very convenient for a day exploring Évora. We stayed for two nights and arrived late after visiting Monsaraz in the afternoon before arriving which I strongly recommend. Left early after breakfast for Obidos which also worked out well. Don’t expect too much but it is fine for this. Concrete floor with no slippers etc. Minimalist but fine and very convenient. Breakfast was OK but not outstanding.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay this summer. Staff were very attentive and helpful. They went above and beyond especially when my son left his headphones at the hotel and they diligently helped prepare and ship them to us. Very impressed with their kindness.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed og P kælder. Pæne værelser og dejligt med pool. Snoppet indtjekning. Vi følte os ikke helt velkomne. Ok morgenmad For at låne pool håndklæder skal lægge et depositum på 10 EUR. Mærkeligt på et 4 stjernet hotel.

Chegamos por volta das 13 horas, o recepcionista fez questão de nos avisar que somente poderíamos entrar após as 16, nenhum esforço para nos ajudar. No dia seguinte estava chovendo muito fomos a recepção pedimos um guarde chuva emprestado, o recepcionista disse que os hóspedes tinham levados os guarda-chuva por isso o hotel não tinha. Tb nenhum esforço em ajudar. Não recomendo

Para ser hotel 4 estrelas falta estrutura em atendimento room service para pedir agua (algo tão basico) e nem estava pedindo de graça era para colocar na conta e mesmo assim era descer ate o bar porque subir agua era 10 euros a mais tipo era Só agua! Algo basico que achei estranho realmente De resto tudo perfeito, quarto, localização, restaurante e areas do hotel.

This is a modern hotel just within the walls of the old city, within 10 minutes walk of all the major sights and the Praca do Giraldo in the old town center. Free underground parking is included - avoid driving into the old city. Very good breakfast, comfortable rooms

The Olive hotel is a luxury hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable bed, amazing bathroom, indoor and outdoor pool, gym, restaurant, wonderful staff and all the amenities. It is in the middle of an ancient roman historical site! Finding it is very difficult by car. The one way, narrow, cobblestone alleyways left me in tears by the time I got there only to be told I need to drive around several streets again to park in the underground garage. Do yourself a favor and park outside the city walls and take a taxi or walk.

The gentlemen at the reception area were friendly, informative & very helpful! They made a terrific first impression! On site parking was great. Breakfast was fabulous. Room was clean. Centrally located & very walkable. Would highly recommend!

Room and property were magnificent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was by far the best dining experience we had in Portugal. The food and wait staff were at an elevated level. The breakfast included in the stay was incredible as well. Could not imagine a better overall experience at this hotel
