Great experience. It's a very cute, well maintained building just off the main street. Room was great, breakfast great. No complaints.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful on our check in and check out. We stayed in the junior suite which was a lovely space with character including exposed lovely wooden beams over 100 years old and decorated with wonderful sketches and tasteful suitcases in the stairways. The space is economically and efficiently used with very little waste. The rain shower always makes me happy and the air conditioning was a must have in the hot summer evening. An elevator led us to a second floor and then stairs up to our room adjacent from one other room in this boutique hotel of only 15 individually designed rooms which makes for a quiet and private stay. We didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant which was highly rated. The buffet was included and adequate for our needs. There is a grocery store directly adjacent as well as a gym if you are willing to pay a drop in fee. The old historical streets are less than a ten minute walk away with plenty of restaurants to choose from along the promenade. If you fancy a dip in the river you can join many others enjoying themselves jumping and diving in during the hot July evenings. There was even a large Ferris wheel and live rock band the night we were out. Very entertaining! I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice change of pace from Zurich.

The Hotel is ok and the personal too but if you book it over Hotels.com the owner tries to charge you twice/double. I’ve stayed there twice now and they did it the first time and tried to do it the second time. And to get your money back is hours of discussions…
