Park Hotel, Lambton Quay

All excellent, lovely place to stay in the City. Easily amenable to all local facilities. Fully recommend

What the online picture depicted was far different than the room I was given. The picture showed a larger room with a couch, bed, mini kitchen and large windows. What I got was a room barely big enough for the bed and a desk. The room had two windows but only one had clear glass and was operable, (important as the room had no a/c). The bath was spacious, but had a tiny sink and even smaller shelf above it. There was no shower stall, just a drain on the floor with curtains around it (yes, the water went beyond the curtain). The TV was hung in an awkward position on the wall adjacent to the bed. All too easy to hit one’s head on it when getting up in the middle of the night. Limited channels. A walk heater was mounted under the TV but had no outlet to plug it into. The room had no closet or place to put a suitcase. An exhaust fan was fairly loud. On the plus side, the room and bath were immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The linens looked new. The room was cleaned and restocked with coffee, tea and fresh towels on a daily basis. The kitchenette was well equipped with fridge, 2nirner stove with hood and a microwave. The building is served by 3 very fast elevators. The staff was friendly and eager to help. Nearby fitness center is included in the room rate. Water pressure for the shower was very good. The building has access to the The Terrace in the front and Lambton Quay (the shopping district) in the rear. Very convenient.
