We enjoyed our stay at this property. The pros - very clean and spacious room. The bathroom amenities and tea/coffee station were great. Check in was quick and friendly. The included continental breakfast was more than enough to start the day. The cons - there is no reserved parking for guests. If you arrive during lunch or dinner, it’s busy with people visiting the pub (and they park terribly) multiple cars taking up two spaces and when you need to unload a bunch of luggage and a baby it’s almost impossible. Minor issue but the coffee cups were not restocked the next day and the vacuuming was not the best during the cleaning service.

A nicely refurbished pub that offers all the comforts of a well considered accommodation option in an ideal location. Shame about the bar noise, but this did come to an end offering a quiet night’s sleep. Climate control in the room was excellent.

Although I gave an average rating for limited parking, the receptionist was awesome and told me he was about to leave so I could use his car park because the whole car park was full when I arrived. The stuff there are super amazing in Friendly

Don't judge a book by its cover is very true - I wasn't sure when I pulled up, but the rooms were fantastic. Recently renovated and had everything you could expect and then some. Bathroom was amazing. Room rate ncluded a continental breakfast delivered the night before to my room. This was ideal for me as I had to leave before breakfast started in the restaurant. Only negative - no lift so if you have mobility challenges not the most suitable as all rooms up one full flight of stairs. The pub offers a great meal as well.

The Beach Hotel was in a great location & tastefully renovated. The room was small but cosy and had a huge window over looking the beach. The bathroom was lovely with a nice deep bath. Just a short stroll along the path to see cute penguins after dark. Free parking onsite. Lovely continental breakfast basket. The pub downstairs had friendly staff & delicious well priced food.

Unexpected nice hotel.clean bedding and towels. Big tub ,spotless shower place.generous in room drink provided.Nice breakfast, milk and juice in glass bottles! Hotel did try to provide good service. Also Ocean view is a big plus. So close to night time penguins viewing too.I am very happy to have close encounters with the penguins for free without commercial tour and crowds.

Nice value for money, suggest replacing the shallow tea cups in the rooms for mugs to have a decent coffee. Foxtel wasn’t working. Mould in shower. Enjoyed our stay.

They have gone to a lot of effort with the fit out of the room, but a few details let it down. Two rooms, two beds but no door between, somewhat odd but not an issue for myself as i was travelling by myself. Unfortunately the state of the silicone in the shower if far from acceptable, this needs to be dug out, mould treated and redone. Location is great with the beach walk just across the street and the penguin habitat only a few hundred metres away

Room was excellent, very modern comfortable with continental breakfast provided. Having a balcony overlooking the ocean was wonderful. An appreciated extra was an EV charger enabling me to wake up to a fully charged car in the morning. We were extremely happy but around 10.30 pm we suddenly were bombarded with loud music with thumping drums and bass. This continued until 1am which made it very difficult to sleep. I went downstairs to find the hotel was almost empty and couldn’t find a staff member, nor the source of the music. I assume it was coming from another room but there was no one to report it to. This prevented us to give five stars to the Hotel which otherwise was excellent and well equipped and comfortable.

The room was really perfect. We had the balcony, which was nice, also a beach view. No complaints, except the noise from the bar under us. From 7 pm until 10:30-ish, it was annoying. If you’re noise sensitive then I wouldn’t stay here.

The Beach Hotel was a well appointed, central location in Burnie. My room was clean and well presented. My only problem was trying to work out the TV - probably a bit too high tech for me. Not a major issue. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay. Quiet and we had views of the beach. An older building that has been thoughtfully and professionally refurbished. Extremely comfortable beds. We appreciated the Netflix. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this Hotel - we will be staying again.

The WiFi was not working properly. The Tv we couldn’t get to work, the information booklet had nothing in it except a menu and warranty’s on electrical appliances, a heater but no air conditioning it was stuffy Disappointing but it was clean

The condition of the room is worth the price, however some inconvenience to expect. I have experienced sleep disruptions due: - banging doors from guest doors and the fire exit (also a smoking area) door next - partying guest neighbours (no 24/7 reception, no number to call to) I am felt unhappy with the delayed breakfast delivery and when I rang in the morning to follow up, no one can pick the phone. When I went downstairs and knock on the receptions window, no one was there yet. After 830am I rang again finally someone picked the call but not at work yet. They said they lost the slip (breakfast order form and that it), I picked muffins they gave fruit salad because apparently it will take time prepare muffins, and many more similar reasonings

OMG, this is a real find!!! All the staff so friendly, and make you feel welcome. Bistro downstairs, wonderful. Good security, never have to worry about someone coming upstairs. Breakfast was very big. Comfortable beds and pillows. Best view of the ocean from the bed. Will stay here again and again

the cheak in proceedure. They had to ask me what the rate was took long time to finally process. Showed licence as identification - then proceeded to manually write all my personal details on paper Then I was asked for another credit card incase I had used anything from mini bar they then wrote down all my personal details from my seco nd credit card What if I did not have a second card on me they would not let me use the one I used for check in. I did not want to go ahead with the booking. I do n ot know if legally they can do this. They ended up with All my details of credit card no.1 All my details of credit card no2 all my personal details on my licence I became very upset that they had all this inform ation I was told that this was the procedure. I feel like reporting them I think I will still do it It was 5.30 at night I had advised them I would be in at that tine.. The whole transactions took about 20 minutes and there were 2 other couples waiting regards

The cleanliness of the room and the facilities were amazing however the noise level was a bit of an issue for us. The staff member (on check in and check out) went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and we would recommend this hotel to our friends due to her helpfulness.

Majestic location facing the beach, in-house Western and pub plus shopping Centre. We love the food and complimentary continental breakfast. On site parking made my life so easy. We will definitely come back again. Thank you so much.

The Beach Hotel was in a great location & tastefully renovated. The room was small but cosy and had a huge window over looking the beach. The bathroom was lovely with a nice deep bath. Just a short stroll along the path to see cute penguins after dark. Free parking onsite. Lovely continental breakfast basket. The pub downstairs had friendly staff & delicious well priced food.

This hotel is an absolute gem!! From the moment we entered, we were greeted with smiling and welcoming faces. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with lovely toiletries, and little extras like Tim Tams and nice teas. The room had everything we needed including a mini bar if you didn’t want to venture out for drinks or snacks. A complimentary continental breakfast (delivered to your room) was also included, which was an amazing array of fresh, tasty and very generous goodies. There are also dining options (which we didn’t use but the menu sounded wonderful, next time!). If travelling to Burnie I highly recommend this hotel, it really was fantastic!

I liked that the staff were friendly and the facilities, accommodation and food were great. Especially liked that there were plenty of Gluten free choices on the menu, also if there were no tables available in the bistro you could have your meal in your room. The continental breakfast included in the price of the room was very substantial. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

A splendid stay. The rooms had recently been upgraded to a high standard. Great sea views for those on the front. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and high standard in the award winning restaurant. Breakfast was chosen when registering and options delivered to the room. Highly recommended

Room and bathroom were very clean and spacious; balcony and sea view were bonuses. A little concerned that the room was above the bar but the music quietened down around 10.30 and didn't hear customers after 10.45. Staff at reception and lounge were friendly and helpful. We opted to have our continental breakfast in the room - very good selection including gluten free bread and cereal. Evening meal at the lounge bar was exceptional, especially the chicken parmigiana with gluten free pasta.

Wonderful location on the waterfront and close to the main street of Burnie. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. Dining facilities are outstanding and we can vouch for breakfast and evening meals which offer variety and are very good quality. Our room had a comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, good climate control, but the best feature was being able to hear the ocean waves crashing on the beach.
