Feedback on staff is inconsistent—several guests were warmly assisted, but others found the team unwelcoming or unresponsive. Issues were noted around managing a private bath reservation and follow-up.

Seafront setting by a park with easy bus access; walkable to Shimoda Station and beaches, though downtown dining can feel a bit far or limited without a car. A good base for local festivals and exploring the area.

On-site breakfast and dinners earn regular praise for flavor and generous portions, with some describing them as almost too lavish.
