Great location, 5-min walk to Ao Nang beach. 7-11 downstairs. Friendly staff. Money exchange outside the lobby had the best rate. Some of the best restaurants and shopping nearby. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with varieties. Swimming pool was clean and large. This hotel was by far the best we stayed in this trip (Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi). We will stay here again.

Not very helpful staff at reception. Just handed me a grubby card holder with two well worn keycards. No direction to room and breakfast was average and repetitive. Also small pool between the two buildings. Hotel was quiet and in good location

2 av 3 gymmets konditionsmaskiner fungerade inte. I övrigt en bra/ok vistelse. Då vi checkade in sent och bara sov en natt så var uppdateringen till ett rum med poolaccess en trevlig överraskning!

Café muito gostoso, hotel confortável, quarto amplo, lencois bons, funcionários prestativos e academia com boas opções para exercícios. Ponto negativo: quarto com vista para rua é extremamente barulhento, não tem isolamento acústico e se você não usar protetor auditivo, vai ouvir a música da rua, carros, a noite toda.

This was only a 2 night stay before staying with my new Thai family. Checkin was quick and efficient. The receptionist was polite and informative. The hotel was very clean together with my room. Internet was strong and consistent. The hotel has a small pool area and a small gym. Only negative thing was my room faced onto the main road. The sound of mopeds travelling under harsh acceleration woke me up a few times but this is totally outside the control of the hotel. Otherwise a very enjoyable two days.

We had an extended stay here of 12 nights and really enjoyed it!! We got the pool access room and I enjoyed having that amenity. We got to know the staff, they’re very kind if you are! They strive to provide a great guest experience! Be kind and patient with them, it’s a great team! Our room was cleaned and well kept. Housekeeping did an amazing job, daily. The location is perfect. You can walk to anything, taxi service right outside. Laundry, and currency exchange next door. All tours will also pick up and drop off here for free. I enjoyed coffee and the egg bar in the mornings.

Man får vad man betalar för och Ava Sea Resort var väl precis vad jag hade förväntat mig helt enkelt. Frukosten var tillräcklig. Poolen helt okej. Rummen lagom rymliga. Personalen väldigt serviceminded.

Conveniently located well appointed hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean and the linens were soft. Very good AC. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They had beach towels to check out and lots of books if you wanted something to read.

Hotellene ligger veldig sentralt. Selve hotellet derimot var forferdelig. Innsjekkingen tok lang tid, resepsjonistene var lite effektive og ikke hyggelige. Jeg har lest flere anmeldelser som påpeker holdningen til de ansatte, og jeg tenkte at det ikke kunne stemme. Jo da, det gjorde det. De i resepsjonen var frekke, og det samme gjaldt de som jobbet med romservice. Frokosten er ikke noe å skryte av. Lite utvalg og tørre brødskiver. Jeg fikk beskjed om å varme brødet i brødristeren. Jeg hadde med meg barn og de liker ikke ristet brød. Det er en ting hvis frokosten er inkludert men her må man betale for frokosten og da bør brødet i det minste være spiselig. Det var en dame som tilberedte egg, hun tok fingeren inn i nesa for å klø. Hun vasket ikke hender men fortsatte med å tilberede egget. Dette er et 1-stjerners hotell, og det får kun en stjerne på grunn av beliggenheten. Rommet er nedslitt og badet ser ikke ut. Det luktet av vannet i dusjen. Sengen er ikke noe god å ligge på. The hotel is very nice location and it's only take 5 min walking to Ao Nang beach, the first day when we check in the room had no hot water to shower, but it got fix very quickly, also the room that we stay has a lot of mosquitos, my friend got a lot of bits on his legs

Wir waren vom 27.02.25 - 07.03.25 in diesem Hotel. Es war so schön dort, das wir nach unserem Wochenende auf Koh Phi Phi wieder zum Ava Sea Resort zurückgekehrt sind. Diese Unterkunft ist einfach wunderschön und unglaublich gut. Das Personal nimmt dich sehr angenehm in Empfang und hilft dir bei all deinen Angelegenheiten weiter. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und kann mit viel Komfort glänzen. Das Ava Sea Resort befindet sich im zentralen Punkt von Ao Nang und alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Der 7 Eleven und eine Wechselstube sind direkt vor der Tür. Um Touren vor Ort zu buchen, haben wir immer die nette Dame im Hotel gefragt die in der Nähe der Rezeption sitzt. Sie ist sehr nett, bietet sehr tolle Touren und möchte immer das wir eine gute Tour hatten. Wenn wir wieder nach Krabi (Ao Nang) kommen ist es sicher das wir wieder zu Ava Sea Resort zurückkommen.

Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Location is great and everything is walkable. Lots of dining and shopping options. We stayed in a direct pool access room and would definitely recommend. Housekeeping would only give about a quarter roll of toilet paper at a time. The bathroom has VERY dim lighting. Overall the bathroom is definitely aged and weathered. The climate control really only had two options for temp. Any setting at 20 Celsius (68 degrees F) or higher resulted in a stuffy and hot room around 78 degrees F. If we moved the thermostat dial just one degree to 19 Celsius, the room turned into a freezer. My guess is the room temp was then around 62-64 degrees F. I run hot, so not a problem for me personally. Just a warning for those that like moderate or warmer temps. There wasn’t such a setting after fiddling with it for 5 days. We wouldn’t avoid this place if we came again, but would probably consider other properties with pool access rooms first.

Schon in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, offensichtliche kaputte Dinge wurden erst auf Nachfrage repariert/ instandgesetz. Waschbecken im Badezimmer hatte nur einen Kaltwasser Anschluss, somit kein warmes Wasser am Waschbecken, geht garnicht für den Preis des Zimmers.

Housekeeping would only give about a quarter roll of toilet paper at a time. The bathroom has VERY dim lighting. Overall the bathroom is definitely aged and weathered. The climate control really only had two options for temp. Any setting at 20 Celsius (68 degrees F) or higher resulted in a stuffy and hot room around 78 degrees F. If we moved the thermostat dial just one degree to 19 Celsius, the room turned into a freezer. My guess is the room temp was then around 62-64 degrees F. I run hot, so not a problem for me personally. Just a warning for those that like moderate or warmer temps. There wasn’t such a setting after fiddling with it for 5 days. We wouldn’t avoid this place if we came again, but would probably consider other properties with pool access rooms first.

I’m sure the staff tried but poor English caused some confusion. Given wrong internet password. Rushed through check in and check out. Temperature control in room did not adjust properly. AC was either too cold or off completely. Breakfast not worth the €13. Front desk wouldn’t call a taxi and had to go to tour desk, pay a mark-up and wait half and hour.

This was only a 2 night stay before staying with my new Thai family. Checkin was quick and efficient. The receptionist was polite and informative. The hotel was very clean together with my room. Internet was strong and consistent. The hotel has a small pool area and a small gym. Only negative thing was my room faced onto the main road. The sound of mopeds travelling under harsh acceleration woke me up a few times but this is totally outside the control of the hotel. Otherwise a very enjoyable two days.

My stay at the Ava Sea Resort was great. I had a room on the 5th floor. The view was unbelievable. The staff were pleasant to deal with. Excursions were easy to book. It was close to the beach and all the amenities were close by. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotellene ligger veldig sentralt. Selve hotellet derimot var forferdelig. Innsjekkingen tok lang tid, resepsjonistene var lite effektive og ikke hyggelige. The staff was not accommodating at all. Gave us a hard time about towels🙄 it’s a beach hotel with a pool. They guard the towels like national security. We were fine with the sign out process but they wouldn’t give any extra towels for the room. It was actually extremely annoying

The hotel is very nice location and it's only take 5 min walking to Ao Nang beach, the first day when we check in the room had no hot water to shower, but it got fix very quickly, also the room that we stay has a lot of mosquitos, my friend got a lot of bits on his legs

Not very helpful staff at reception. Just handed me a grubby card holder with two well worn keycards. No direction to room and breakfast was average and repetitive. Also small pool between the two buildings. Hotel was quiet and in good location
Not very helpful staff at reception. Just handed me a grubby card holder with two well worn keycards. No direction to room and breakfast was average and repetitive. Also small pool between the two buildings. Hotel was quiet and in good location

Room size was good, location was close to beach. But I did not enjoy the stay, I booked ocean view room but ocean was too far. Breakfast has very limited open for vegetarian food.

I’m sure the staff tried but poor English caused some confusion. Given wrong internet password. Rushed through check in and check out. Temperature control in room did not adjust properly. AC was either too cold or off completely. Breakfast not worth the €13. Front desk wouldn’t call a taxi and had to go to tour desk, pay a mark-up and wait half and hour.

We had an extended stay here of 12 nights and really enjoyed it!! We got the pool access room and I enjoyed having that amenity. We got to know the staff, they’re very kind if you are! They strive to provide a great guest experience! Be kind and patient with them, it’s a great team! Our room was cleaned and well kept. Housekeeping did an amazing job, daily. The location is perfect. You can walk to anything, taxi service right outside. Laundry, and currency exchange next door. All tours will also pick up and drop off here for free. I enjoyed coffee and the egg bar in the mornings.

The Staff are so kind and show what true customer service is. I also would like to send a special Thank you to Rose the day trip organiser, she is fantastic at her job. The location hotel is perfect a 5 min walk if that from the beach and easy access to nearby bars.The pool is also a nice size and breakfest has a nice selection.

The room didn't have a microwave which I felt was odd and inconvenient. There was no way to reheat my leftovers. A microwave doesn't cost much and would go a long way as an added feature.

My stay at the Ava Sea Resort was great. I had a room on the 5th floor. The view was unbelievable. The staff were pleasant to deal with. Excursions were easy to book. It was close to the beach and all the amenities were close by. I would definitely stay here again.
