Exceptional! Clean and private fireplace room with porch and step in exterior spa, convenient parking, breakfast included, walkable to waterfront shopping and restaurants! Everything about The Wild Iris Inn was fantastic!

The lobby and room were lovely but the jacuzzi area was yucky. It was overgrown and the cover was old and dirty. The rules said we’d be charged $200 for isibg product in the tub yet we were supplied with bath salts. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast

My husband and I traveled to LaConner, Washington to see family and friends. We love the Wild Iris Inn and it’s quite surroundings. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. In the foyer hot coffee, tea, and ice water are available around the clock.

A lovely hotel in a very pretty location. It was clean and quiet. We had a beautiful room with a balcony and hot tub, overlooking a private garden. Choice of restaurants all within walking distance Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wild Iris in. We arrived a bit early but the room was ready and we were able to check in. Ample parking, very convenient. We walked to a nearby Mexican restaurant for late lunch which was recommended by staff and it turned out to be very good. The downtown area an easy walk about 5 blocks from the Wild Iris. Later we watched a DVD from the Inn’s library. The breakfast was excellent. They were serving a frittata that morning and it was a real treat plus the home made granola was very tasty. We were very pleased with our experience at the Wild Iris Inn.

We took an overnight staycation away from the littles, and it dis not disappoint. Jacuzzi hot tub, fireplace, and comfy bed were just what we needed to relax. The owner was very friendly. Best part about this place....NO KIDS ALLOWED! We love kids, but when looking to get away for some peace and quiet, not having to worry about screaming kids running up and down the hall....CHEF'S KISS!

The location is great with many restaurant options within easy walking distance. The hot tub on the deck is the perfect way to end the day.

My wife and I needed a quiet place to stay in LaConner for a couple of days, and a second floor room at the Wild Iris Inn sounded right. Then, a day before our arrival my wife developed a sore toe. The staff at the inn were able to change our reservation to a first floor suite. The suite had a King bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and small balcony. And it was located just off the lobby, where ice water and coffee were available. The location of the Inn is on the hill close to the highway into town, with off street private parking. It was easy to find, had the amenities we needed, and was reasonably peaceful at night. I enjoyed sneaking out to the lobby in the morning for coffee, and then sitting on the porch watching the swallows flitting over adjacent meadow. Breakfasts were served in a spacious dining room, and included fresh fruits, juice, pastries, cold cereal, and a hot entree on request. Our first morning it was a ham and egg burrito. The second day we had egg Benedict. The standardized entree allows for very quick service, and the offerings were tasty and healthy. The historic waterfront area is only 7 blocks downhill, although given our age we drove down and found on street parking. There is a market nearby, and a variety of restaurants in the vicinity. The architecture and decor or the inn is retro-victorian to fit in with the style of the town. Ice is available for chilling beverages, but we missed having a small refrigerator in the room.

Overall place is very nice looking but its not practical for staying. Room was tiny...no where even provided for placing suitcases. HUGE gap between curtains and window and curtains were see thru so let in tons of morning light. Bathroom had no where to put your toiletries and was dirty. Long hair left in tub. No body wash or soap for shower. No lotion in dispenser. However, breakfast was excellent.

Wild Iris Inn is how things should be!! Sharon and the staff were gracious. The Inn was welcoming, well-maintained and had a common area with ice water, tea and coffee. They served a tasty breakfast this morning - the baked french toast was surprisingly yummy. My room was sparkling clean, spacious and everything worked! It had a great king bed and even room for a small table and velvet side chairs. This was more than I had hoped for, and reasonably priced. Perfect. 🌼

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay there again.

Very quaint property. Sharon checked us in and gave us recommendations on local restaurants on the waterfront that we were able to walk to. The Inn was lovely and our room was clean and comfy. Loved having the window open at night for the cool breeze. Breakfast was fabulous as well. Wish we had have time to stay longer.

We really enjoyed the property and all the nice amenities, there is a little counter with tea and water and a common area with a fireplace. We were turned off by the staff, not very friendly and not accommodating with a simple request of more towels for our room. We will probably be back as it was a great location and we were comfortable but the staff could definitely have better service and the rooms could be cleaner. There were stains on the comforter (thankfully not the sheets) and the bathrooms were a little dirty.

This was our second stay at the Wild Iris. Unfortunately this trip was not as enjoyable as the first. The room we stayed in was in a state of disrepair and needed much TLC. While the grounds seemed fine, the room needed help. From bath towels with holes in them, to a toilet paper holder that didn't hold so well, to missing door stops.

A nice enough place. Could use some bathroom maintenance and repairs. Very quiet inside and the neighborhood.

The property was quite nice, built with quality. It was clean cozy and quiet. I would stay again. Breakfast was excellent. Great place to stay for a good price.

Quiet - great room with fireplace very romantic

We enjoyed our stay at the Wild Iris, a small hotel within easy walking distance of downtown LaConnor. It was a quiet Tuesday night, and we had lots of dinner options on the waterfront. Our room was small but comfy, with quality bedsheets and a soft duvet. Everything was clean and tidy, There were extra touches like bathrobes, wine chiller buckets, and a corkscrew. The hot breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the selection of books and DVDs in the lobby. The desk was not manned in the evening, so we couldn't request extra towels, but this is understandable in a small hotel like this. Highly recommended!

It was nice and quiet, and quite comfortable. The coffee and breakfast was good. Stag was friendly. The room is a bit dated, and there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling.

The room smelled a little musty. Likely from the AC. Everything else was great.

The room was tiny with a floor cooler which exhausted out the window taking up what little floor space there was. The room definitely did not resemble any of the pictures on Expedia!

Everything was great! Beautiful and super clean. Disappointed the host was “not available “…. We never even saw her and we stayed two nights!

The resident manager is friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located and quiet. Lovely, homey breakfast is served.

I really like The Wild Iris Inn. It has a convenient location. The room was clean, and the breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, The Wild Iris Inn has sent me repeated invoices that are inaccurate. This started weeks before I arrived when they sent an invoice that had the wrong res #, for the wrong amount & the wrong cancellation conditions as posted on hotels.com. I immediately followed up to try to resolve the inaccuracies prior to my arrival as I didn’t want to waste any of my time while on vacation. When I didn’t hear back after more than a week, I followed up yet again. I finally heard back from the Inn explaining that they have a different invoice numbering system than hotels.com; the amount on their invoice is what they get from hotels.com not the higher amount that I had already prepaid & that their cancellation policy is different than the policy on hotels.com. Fortunately, I didn’t have to cancel but I still didn’t appreciate having my time wasted with the confusing & contradictory info about my reservation & no response after I’d already taken my time to try to proactively resolve any issues. Then, after my stay, I found an email that was sent to me at 3:13 AM on my arrival date saying that my “MasterCard” ending in #— had been charged for a completely different amount than what I had already prepaid through hotels.com. Most importantly, I do not have a MasterCard! And I have no cards ending in those digits. The confusing communication = poor business practices.

The Host Carl was very pleasant and helpful in guiding us to places to eat and things to see. We enjoyed Wild Iris and LaConner. Carl i have to say thise restaurants that you recommended was the best places i ever eaten at. Thanks again for the housekeeping when we put our sign on private by accident. Hopefully we will see you agin on our anniversary coming forward. God bless

Booked for two nights and were told we had to pack up and remove our belongings after the first night and then return to check in the following day. We weren’t even allowed to store our luggage on site. This information was not provided by The Wild Iris inn prior to our arrival. The proprietor of this inn was extremely lacking in customer service and people skills as he popped out of the back room to aggressively inform us of this information as soon as we walked in the door of the inn. No welcome to the inn here. Upon expressing our disappointment, he attempted to blame us for booking through Expedia. Seriously? DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!

Lovely hotel. Rooms were nice. Lovely breakfast options. A bit further out of town. But not a difficult walk to the town and other dinjng optionsnearby.

Very charming, comfortable, and quiet small hotel. Walking distance to town center. Would definitely recommend this place. Best for couples (get the room with outdoor jacuzzi).

Lovely inn, quiet and beautifully kept. Friendly staff. Close to the main streets but away from a lot of traffic. Lots of dining choices. There is an EV charger about two blocks away behind the library.

Great location. Can park and walk town and visit the shops. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. The staff wass very friendly.

Offers a GREAT breakfast!!

First of all, the breakfast was amazing! They cook a basically gourmet meal for you every morning and lay out a lovely little spread as well, included with the price of the room. Best continental breakfast I’ve ever had, hands down! The bed was so comfy, the tub was fantastic, they even give you some bath salts for it. I will absolutely book here next time we are in town.

The place in general was quiet. The morning breakfast was very good. The kitchen staff, however, should realize that chopping ice for ice bag prep, should’ve been done before the start of breakfast or after. They chopped ice from the ice maker with a metal scoop, bagged ice and talked loudly the entire time we ate breakfast. It was unbelievably annoying. The other patrons eyes & body responses were the same.

Location is great for exploring. We stayed for four nights and breakfast was very nice on one of the days (French Toast and Bacon). On the other days, the fixed daily breakfast menu left us underwhelmed. Overall a nice and quiet stay though.

The breakfast is ok. We don't like the egg benedict breakfast today.We should have an option what to have for breakfast. A choice. Not sure if we're coming back to the place.
