Rooms are super - very tastefully done and comfortable. The hotel is family run in the most positive way with a relatively small team who took great care to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. It truly felt as if making sure guests were happy meant something to the team.

My recent stay at Hotel Onya in Switzerland was truly exceptional, far surpassing any expectations set by its online presence. The photos, while lovely, simply do not do the hotel justice; it's infinitely warmer and more inviting in person, creating an immediate sense of comfort. The views from the hotel are nothing short of incredible, offering breathtaking panoramas that made every moment feel like a postcard. Beyond the stunning scenery, the hotel's restaurant delivered an unparalleled culinary experience. The food was, quite honestly, the best I've had in all of Switzerland, a testament to their exceptional quality and skill. However, the true highlight of my stay, and what made Hotel Onya truly shine, was Isabelle. She was an absolute delight – consistently warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Her genuine hospitality and delightful demeanor made every interaction a pleasure, and the owners are truly fortunate to have her representing their establishment. The waitstaff throughout the restaurant was also remarkably friendly and attentive, further enhancing the overall experience. After spending five days exploring Switzerland, our time at Hotel Onya was unequivocally our favorite part. I am already planning my return, eager to experience the hotel and its surroundings in the winter, to enjoy the snow side rather than just the hiking.
