The location of this hotel is PERFECT! It is nestled in a quiet spot less than 2 blocks from the shops, restaurants and excitement that is Michigan Ave! Millennium Station is about a mile away and walkable as well. The hotel places an emphasis on art and technology with beautiful artwork throughout. My two children loved the robots Leo and Cleo that will deliver essentials to your room such as additional towels or cups! The lobby also had a cool old-fashioned motion picture wheel that you could spin to watch a picture move. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well! A few disappointments - the lobby area is very small and tight, the room-service pizza we ordered wasn't great, and our mini fridge didn't work. Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely visit again!

The valet parking was great, because it can be very hard to park in Chicago. They helped us unload everything from our car. The hotel rooms are very unique and modern. The restaurant downstairs has a full bar with talented bartenders.

This property was amazing! Our first visit here and we cannot wait to come back. My children absolutely loved Cleo and Leo, the concierge robots. They brought everything quickly and the room service was delicious! The staff and breakfast here were also amazing. The room was spacious, uniquely themed, clean, and beautiful. Our only complaint was valet was a bit slow, but overall we loved the experience and look forward to visiting again.

The room was nice, but the floor in our room was weirdly sticky, like it had been poorly cleaned after a spill. We did not complain to staff, because we were pretty busy during our stay and just made the best of the room. But overall really nice hotel and I would likely stay again.

However, our room’s shower wand was not working and our room didn’t have an Amazon Alexa which is one of the amenities listed. Also, we paid for a city view, but they put us on the fifth floor, so we could only see one building in front of the hotel. Needless to say, the view was not great.

When we walked into the building, I was a little surprised by the size, a little smaller than expected including the rooms. However, the place was gorgeous and the surprise of the shower placed where it is. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Love the forward thinking with the elevator system and the robots. Finally, my sincere gratitude to accommodating our every needed - especially upon check-in. I appreciate your hospitality and we will use you again.

I enjoyed the unique atmosphere that the hotel provides. The elevators were really unique, there were no buttons on the inside, instead there was a kiosk outside the elevators in which you would select your floor and it would lead you to the correct elevator. The design of the room itself was breathtakingly elegant as well.

It got up to 78 degrees at one point. We even set the thermostat to 60 degrees and the lowest it ever got was 74 even when we closed the blinds. We noticed that the thermostat would even turn off while we were in the room. The front desk was notified about the thermostat and never came to assess or resolve the situation. The TV would not turn on multiple times. We had to call the front desk to fix it. We went to the bar one night, and the drinks were not good and expensive. We didn’t finish our drinks because they didn’t taste good. Very aesthetic but not tasty.

Property was nice but had issues at check-in. Was changes for the room when it was already paid for and had to wait 30 mins for it to be corrected. We got $25 gift card for the delay and issue. Overall the room was nice but the bed sunk down in the middle and made my husband and I keep sinking into each other. Our backs hurt in the morning from sleeping on the slant. Breakfast was good and overall the hotel and staff was nice.

The front staff had excellent customer service and were very friendly. They made me feel very welcomed. The valet staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very pretty including the elevators. The room was stylish and it was cool that you could control the light and room temperature with the tv remote. The shower was wonderful with excellent water pressure. I liked that they had a lovely drape that you could use for privacy since the shower was in the room. I would definitely stay there again.

Everyone who worked there were so nice. Treated us like family or close friends. Forgot to pack my cellphone charger and everyday Jackie at the front desk or Jackie in the restaurant would charge my cellphone for me. Much appreciated! Our stay couldn't have been any better.

This was our hotel of choice for Valentine’s Day but we will not be returning. It says check in is 4pm but there weren’t any rooms ready at 4. The line to check in was out of the door. We had to cancel our dinner reservations because we didn’t have time after waiting for the room. I made an order to be delivered by the Leo and Cleo robots which is my favorite part of the stay. An hour went by and we had to check out so we didn’t get it. When we went down to check out the robots were just sitting there and they didn’t even put in our order.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in Chicago after going to the city so many times. The design was impeccable and is very attentive to detail. Great location as well, it is near the Northwestern university and is near Magnificient Mile, so you can go pretty much everywhere from here, from shopping, dining, to visiting the lake shore.

We love staying at emc2 when we have an appointment at Northwestern Hospital. It is just around the corner and close to hospital parking, which is cheaper than valet parking. The restaurant on site, The Albert, is great, and we love getting dessert for the night here. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We love the design of the rooms. They are functional and nicely appointed.

Customer service was amazing and everyone was super helpful, especially Chelsea who even made a hand written list of restaurant recommendations. We kept the list for next time too. The property itself was amazing, however the St Albert restaurant was really bad for breakfast options and pricing. Food was below par for what was charged. I do not understand being charged $5.50 for a coffee that comes from the same complementary coffee dispenser that was just a few feet away from us and everyone staying at the hotel got for free.

Almost everything about the property was excellent. Location, cleanliness, staff, etc. All excellent. But c'mon... $6.50 for morning coffee in the lobby (12oz. cups). That's an INSANE price to pay. How does one pay $350/night to stay there and get charged $6.50 for coffee?? The mgmt. should know it's stuff like that, that'll keep me from staying there again when in the area there's like, 10 other hotels of comparable quality and amenities.
