This resort was great in almost every way. The walk into town is not long but dodgy as sidewalks are often missing or blocked by something. Our only suggestion is to heat the pool. As the pool is located in a shady area, it was too cool for us to spend as much time in as we hoped.

Eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit sehr schönem Pool. Hotelpersonal holte mich bereits vom Flughafen ab. Im Auto gab es schon Getränke. Insgesamt war das gesamte Hotelpersonal sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Habe mich von der ersten Minute an wohlgefühlt. Frühstück war ebenfalls gut und der Raum hierfür sehr idyllisch. Die gesamte Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll und schön.

We have just spent two weeks at The Golden Temple Retreat. The hotel is beautiful calm and relaxing. The pool is wonderful and totally refreshing after a day exploring the temples and city. The hotel is in a great place just a short walk from the market and pub street without being too close. Our room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with beautiful sweet fruits and a wide selection of food for everyone. The omelettes were divine. The dinner and lunch menu was good and cooked beautifully. I definitely recommend a massage in the spar. We both had the traditional Khmer massage which was wonderful, and very discreet as we were given a pair of pyjamas to wear throughout the massage, which I totally appreciated. I just wish I hadn’t left it until the day before we were leaving before having it because I felt so comfortable that I would have had a few more. We can’t thank all of the staff enough for the wonderful hospitality and welcoming us to the hotel and making us feel at home. We would especially like to thank Sopheak, Tong, Marida and Mon, for their help and friendship throughout our stay. We really had the best time here. I have never felt so welcome or comfortable as I did at this hotel and in Cambodia ️

I highly recommend this place! Everybody is friendly and helpful. They anticipate your needs and wishes and are always ready to make your stay even better. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ideal for a romantic stay. The restaurant offers a wide variety of foods and cooking classes! I loved visiting the Spa, they have nice range of treatments and the masseuses are awesome! The hotel is just 5 min walk from the night market and the old market. In that area yon’ll find lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. This place is a real gem. Do not miss it!

Nos encantó alojarnos en Golden Temple Retreat, un hotel de 30 habitaciones aproximadamente, a 5-10 minutos andando de Old Market. Elegimos una habitación en primera planta con vistas a la piscina y era muy amplia y cómoda, sólo mejoraría las luces (especialmente las del baño). Nos cuidaron con muchos detalles y una amabilidad extraordinaria. Mención especial para Lisa, Van y Nat, maravillosas personas siempre dispuestas a ayudar y pendientes de hacerte sentir lo más cómodo posible. También tuvimos la suerte de probar el restaurante para comer a mediodía y fue perfecto, cocina muy buena y fresca. El desayuno también es muy completo. En el spa disfrutamos de un masaje de piernas y otro de cuerpo completo y ambos fueron extraordinarios. Muchas gracias a todos. Hotel muy recomendable

the hotel was well located - 10 min walk to pub street but best of all, it was new but a traditional design with wonderful helpful staff. The breakfast was always good while their amok curry at dinner was delicious. Nice pool and good sized rooms. The hotel were good enough to pick up/ drop off at the new airport as well as arrange all our excursions. It really was a stress free holiday. All the staff were amazing (there is a gratuity box - please use it) but special shout outs to Sofia from front desk, Heng Sinnet the excursion guide and Noy our driver

The staff was incredibly kind, rooms were clean. On the opposite side of the river (quieter, but fewer dining options, but pub street a short walk or tuk tuk ride away). Room is clean, but probably due for an update. Pool is nice, but if you’re going to use the pool, suggest a pool access room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities of this hotel. Big spacious room with large bathroom and a massive bathtub. Has a large long pool to cool down at the end of the day. All the staff were so nice, friendly and super helpful. It’s a shame we could only stay for 3 days but if we ever come back to Siem Reap, this is the only place to stay

My family are very happy to return after 8 years and found it to be the same great hotel we remembered. The staff are very helpful and kind about every aspect of the services they offer. The breakfast is excellent and everything is maintained with great care. The hot stone massage and aroma therapy massage are awesome too. We are definitely coming back to Golden Temple Retreat in the future!

客室はもちろん、フロント、廊下、レストラン、どれも清掃が行き届いていてとても清潔でした。 またスタッフの方はすれ違うたびに笑顔で挨拶をしてくれて、すごく晴れやかな気分になりました。 またスタッフの方の対応で驚いたことが2つあります。 1つは、早朝にもかかわらず朝食BOXを作ってくれたことです。 アンコールワット朝日観光に行く際、ホテル側に朝食BOXを作ってもらうことを事前に伝え忘れていました。 出発前にダメ元でお願いをしたところ快く対応してくれ、無事朝食BOXを持って朝日観光に行くことができました。 2つ目は、ホテルからバス停まで車で送ってくれたことです。ホテルをチェックアウトした時点で手持ちの現金は全て使い切ってしまっていたため、タクシーではなく歩いてバス停まで向かう予定でした。 スタッフの方に「歩いてバス停まで行きます」と言ったところ、「歩くと遠いから車で送ります！」と言ってくださりました。 スタッフの方の心遣いのおかげで、暑い中バス停まで歩くことを避けられました。 こちらのホテルのおかげで、とても楽しいカンボジア旅行ができました。 カンボジアへ観光に行く人がいれば、ぜひおすすめしたいです！

Everything we hoped for and more at this lovely boutique hotel. Extremely friendly and attentive staff always available to assist. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. Every night they brought in a snack. Breakfast was buffet style with International and Khmer options. I highly recommend this hotel.

滞在中は常に声かけして、親切にしてくださり心地よく過ごせました。また、トゥクトゥクに乗る際も行き先を告げ値段も聞いてくれて、初めてひとりで乗る不安を和らげてくれ大変助かりました。 部屋はかなり広くて清潔で、お水も洗面所に2本、冷蔵庫側に2本ありよかったです。 アロママッサージも初めて体験しましたが、連日の観光の疲労が和らぐ気持ちよさでした。

I have stayed at the golden temple retreat 3 times and each time it gets better and better. It is top notch. They go above and beyond. For my birthday the stff beautify decorated my room and then the entire staff came to my room to sing happy birthday to me. Very special to me as its also the day, 1 year ago, i had open heart surgery the day befour my 55th birthday. If you dont stay at the golden temple you woud be making a mistake. Rooms are beautiful, tub and showers are amazing.best hotel ever!

The hotel is lovely and a great base for Siam Reap. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the center. Room and breakfast exceptional . Service was top notch, especially Nat at reception. They know your name. Problem is it was low season and there was too much staff so it was a bit hovering. They will also arrange ankor wat tours and the prices didn’t seem too overcharged - we did on own. The one concern is we had pickup from the airport. While the price at $30 is good, it was a 1960s American car and we felt it was unsafe.

They hype is real -- the Golden Temple Retreat is an absolute gem in Siem Reap. We have just spent two weeks at The Golden Temple Retreat. The hotel is beautiful calm and relaxing. The pool is wonderful and totally refreshing after a day exploring the temples and city. The hotel is in a great place just a short walk from the market and pub street without being too close. Our room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with beautiful sweet fruits and a wide selection of food for everyone. The omelettes were divine. The dinner and lunch menu was good and cooked beautifully. I definitely recommend a massage in the spar. We both had the traditional Khmer massage which was wonderful, and very discreet as we were given a pair of pyjamas to wear throughout the massage, which I totally appreciated. I just wish I hadn’t left it until the day before we were leaving before having it because I felt so comfortable that I would have had a few more. We can’t thank all of the staff enough for the wonderful hospitality and welcoming us to the hotel and making us feel at home. We would especially like to thank Sopheak, Tong, Marida and Mon, for their help and friendship throughout our stay. We really had the best time here. I have never felt so welcome or comfortable as I did at this hotel and in Cambodia ️

Golden Temple Retreat is just that -- a quite, well-staffed retreat in the middle of Siem Reap. We absolutely loved this place. The only negative was some struggle to make the AC work, but the staff was very attentive to our needs and took care of the problem.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and organising tours via the front desk was easy. Food was tasty and the packed lunch particularly good. Spa treatment were good too with one free massage included. It was very hot when we were there and the air con was not quite strong enough, but we were able to borrow a fan. The tv had Netflix etc, but not regular tv channels.

I highly recommend this place! Everybody is friendly and helpful. They anticipate your needs and wishes and are always ready to make your stay even better. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ideal for a romantic stay. The restaurant offers a wide variety of foods and cooking classes! I loved visiting the Spa, they have nice range of treatments and the masseuses are awesome! The hotel is just 5 min walk from the night market and the old market. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities of this hotel. Big spacious room with large bathroom and a massive bathtub. Has a large long pool to cool down at the end of the day. All the staff were so nice, friendly and super helpful. It’s a shame we could only stay for 3 days but if we ever come back to Siem Reap, this is the only place to stay

The hotel is lovely and a great base for Siam Reap. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the center. Room and breakfast exceptional . Service was top notch, especially Nat at reception. They know your name. Problem is it was low season and there was too much staff so it was a bit hovering. They will also arrange ankor wat tours and the prices didn’t seem too overcharged - we did on own. The one concern is we had pickup from the airport. While the price at $30 is good, it was a 1960s American car and we felt it was unsafe.

客室はもちろん、フロント、廊下、レストラン、どれも清掃が行き届いていてとても清潔でした。 またスタッフの方はすれ違うたびに笑顔で挨拶をしてくれて、すごく晴れやかな気分になりました。 またスタッフの方の対応で驚いたことが2つあります。 1つは、早朝にもかかわらず朝食BOXを作ってくれたことです。 アンコールワット朝日観光に行く際、ホテル側に朝食BOXを作ってもらうことを事前に伝え忘れていました。 出発前にダメ元でお願いをしたところ快く対応してくれ、無事朝食BOXを持って朝日観光に行くことができました。 2つ目は、ホテルからバス停まで車で送ってくれたことです。ホテルをチェックアウトした時点で手持ちの現金は全て使い切ってしまっていたため、タクシーではなく歩いてバス停まで向かう予定でした。 スタッフの方に「歩いてバス停まで行きます」と言ったところ、「歩くと遠いから車で送ります！」と言ってくださりました。 スタッフの方の心遣いのおかげで、暑い中バス停まで歩くことを避けられました。 こちらのホテルのおかげで、とても楽しいカンボジア旅行ができました。 カンボジアへ観光に行く人がいれば、ぜひおすすめしたいです！

the hotel was well located - 10 min walk to pub street but best of all, it was new but a traditional design with wonderful helpful staff. The breakfast was always good while their amok curry at dinner was delicious. Nice pool and good sized rooms. The hotel were good enough to pick up/ drop off at the new airport as well as arrange all our excursions. It really was a stress free holiday. All the staff were amazing (there is a gratuity box - please use it) but special shout outs to Sofia from front desk, Heng Sinnet the excursion guide and Noy our driver

Located in a comfortable walking distance to city center in a nice neighbourhood, the Golden Temple Retreat Hotel provides excellent service. We stayed 4 nights and were thrilled by the hospitality and helpfullness of staff. Sopheak Hong organised a wonderfull 2 days arrangement to visit Angkor Wat and other temples. Our guide Nat showed us not only the must have seen sights, but also some spots away from the crowd. He really is an experienced knowledgeable guide. The hotel's restaurant serves excellent food at a reasonable price. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage. Thank you for the great experience.

The staff was incredibly kind, rooms were clean. On the opposite side of the river (quieter, but fewer dining options, but pub street a short walk or tuk tuk ride away). Room is clean, but probably due for an update. Pool is nice, but if you’re going to use the pool, suggest a pool access room.

The hotel is lovely and a great base for Siam Reap. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the center. Room and breakfast exceptional . Service was top notch, especially Nat at reception. They know your name. Problem is it was low season and there was too much staff so it was a bit hovering. They will also arrange ankor wat tours and the prices didn’t seem too overcharged - we did on own. The one concern is we had pickup from the airport. While the price at $30 is good, it was a 1960s American car and we felt it was unsafe.

We have just spent two weeks at The Golden Temple Retreat. The hotel is beautiful calm and relaxing. The pool is wonderful and totally refreshing after a day exploring the temples and city. The hotel is in a great place just a short walk from the market and pub street without being too close. Our room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with beautiful sweet fruits and a wide selection of food for everyone. The omelettes were divine. The dinner and lunch menu was good and cooked beautifully. I definitely recommend a massage in the spar. We both had the traditional Khmer massage which was wonderful, and very discreet as we were given a pair of pyjamas to wear throughout the massage, which I totally appreciated. I just wish I hadn’t left it until the day before we were leaving before having it because I felt so comfortable that I would have had a few more. We can’t thank all of the staff enough for the wonderful hospitality and welcoming us to the hotel and making us feel at home. We would especially like to thank Sopheak, Tong, Marida and Mon, for their help and friendship throughout our stay. We really had the best time here. I have never felt so welcome or comfortable as I did at this hotel and in Cambodia ️

I highly recommend this place! Everybody is friendly and helpful. They anticipate your needs and wishes and are always ready to make your stay even better. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ideal for a romantic stay. The restaurant offers a wide variety of foods and cooking classes! I loved visiting the Spa, they have nice range of treatments and the masseuses are awesome! The hotel is just 5 min walk from the night market and the old market. In that area yon’ll find lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. This place is a real gem. Do not miss it!

Everything we hoped for and more at this lovely boutique hotel. Extremely friendly and attentive staff always available to assist. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. Every night they brought in a snack. Breakfast was buffet style with International and Khmer options. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nos encantó alojarnos en Golden Temple Retreat, un hotel de 30 habitaciones aproximadamente, a 5-10 minutos andando de Old Market. Elegimos una habitación en primera planta con vistas a la piscina y era muy amplia y cómoda, sólo mejoraría las luces (especialmente las del baño). Nos cuidaron con muchos detalles y una amabilidad extraordinaria. Mención especial para Lisa, Van y Nat, maravillosas personas siempre dispuestas a ayudar y pendientes de hacerte sentir lo más cómodo posible. También tuvimos la suerte de probar el restaurante para comer a mediodía y fue perfecto, cocina muy buena y fresca. El desayuno también es muy completo. the hotel was well located - 10 min walk to pub street but best of all, it was new but a traditional design with wonderful helpful staff. The breakfast was always good while their amok curry at dinner was delicious. Nice pool and good sized rooms. The hotel were good enough to pick up/ drop off at the new airport as well as arrange all our excursions. It really was a stress free holiday. All the staff were amazing (there is a gratuity box - please use it) but special shout outs to Sofia from front desk, Heng Sinnet the excursion guide and Noy our driver

My family are very happy to return after 8 years and found it to be the same great hotel we remembered. The staff are very helpful and kind about every aspect of the services they offer. The breakfast is excellent and everything is maintained with great care. The hot stone massage and aroma therapy massage are awesome too. We are definitely coming back to Golden Temple Retreat in the future!

Located in a comfortable walking distance to city center in a nice neighbourhood, the Golden Temple Retreat Hotel provides excellent service. We stayed 4 nights and were thrilled by the hospitality and helpfullness of staff. Sopheak Hong organised a wonderfull 2 days arrangement to visit Angkor Wat and other temples. Our guide Nat showed us not only the must have seen sights, but also some spots away from the crowd. He really is an experienced knowledgeable guide. Very nice hotell with excelent location just a 3 min Tuk Tuk tour to Pub Street. We stayed in a room with direct access to the pool. The staff was so nice, and gave excellent service. The hotel arranged a Angkor Wat tour for us with a privat english speaking guide, in a airconditioned minibus. We were 8 adults and 1 child, and payed $495 for the whole trip including the Angkor Wat tickets. This trip was 10 out of 10, and we recommend this very much.
