Unfortunately, one rude staffer at the check-in spoiled the experience. It is a cheap place, and not well-maintained, so you get what you pay for. Positives: the mattress was hard (for those who like that), and the breakfast awesome. Rooms could use a new coat of paint.

I wanted to mention in particular the amazing breakfast selection. It still remains one of the best meals we had in our travels across Japan. Thanks also to the friendly staff in the restaurant. They were great.

Lovely hotel, a little way out of town but the walk was pleasant. The staff are so attentive. They really make your stay special. Aomori is very quiet but has so much charm. There’s plenty to see and do and the people are delightful!

The room was clean, the amenities had everything that we wanted, including coffee, toiletries and a buffet breakfast. The location was central and staff very friendly.
