Awesome central location. Easy to walk to stores and restaurants. The room was spacious and the staff was welcoming and friendly. It’s an older hotel but it’s been kept up nicely and the pool was very refreshing for a night dip. Would certainly stay here again.

Very nice pool, excellent location. Rooms are good w/ nice balcony, but bathrooms could definitely be improved. Definitely better than some of the 4-stars hotels I stayed in Indonesia.

We had a very pleasant stay here! The room was clean and quiet. The pool and gardens area was beautiful. The staff were so kind and accomodating and let us have our room early. The bathroon exhaust wasn't the strongest however, and we did see one cockroach in the bathroom. So that area could have been a bit cleaner!

A great little hotel in a lovely quiet side street. Breakfast options are perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool area and garden. Love the veranda seating area outside the rooms. Plenty of places to dine, grab a snack or have a massage within walking distance.

Batu Empug Cottages is a small hotel but neat and clean with fabulous and helpful staff. It is conveniently located in quiet laneway not far from the markets and dining places. Yoga studios are a 5 minute walk away. The pool is clean with towels provided. A small cafe on site makes wonderful local dishes and serves drinks and snacks pool side. I will most definitely stay here again.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen. Gebucht hatten wir eine Deluxe Suite, diese wies leider dieverse Mängel auf, Tür nicht richtig verschließbar, Wanne sehr abgenutzt, Lüfter im Bad wahnsinnig laut, Wasserkocher defekt... wir wechselten zu einem normalen Deluxe Room, da keine andere Suite frei war. Der Mitarbeiter hat sich aber sehr bemüht. Und wir waren glücklich. Das Frühstück konnte man aus 3 Varianten wählen. Wir hatten immer die indonesische, diese war sehr lecker. Um den Pool waren nur 6 Liegen, sodass man Glück hatte wenn man eine ergattert. War aber nur halb so schlimm, da wir die Zeit genutzt haben Ubud zu erkunden, mit dem schönen Monkey Forest, Reisterassen, Kunstmarkt und ein paar Wasserfällen.

We really enjoyed our time at Batu Empug Cottages, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We loved how close it was to lots of great restaurants and main streets. The pool was great as was the breakfast.

This was an incredible hotel to stay at, very clean, safe and in a phenomenal location. Just off the really busy streets but less than a 10 minute easy walk to the center of Ubud. The rooms, outdoor lobby, pools and restaurant were incredibly clean and the staff was kind, excellent and very helpful. Our room was large and looked out into beautifully kept gardens and a very clean and pretty pool. The beds and pillows were very new and incredibly comfortable. And in room amenities were excellent. The hotel restaurant was amazing with multiple choices for a full included breakfast and fantastic food for lunch and dinner at incredible prices, less than half the cost of places 5 min away and tasted way better! You need to try the banana pancakes and the carbonara! I cannot say enough good things about this perfect hotel. And I highly recommend anybody to stay here and will be recommending it to everybody I know back in my country that comes to Bali.

The hotel was so beautiful, serene and cozy. It’s centrally located in Ubud and there are so many good food options that are within a walkable distance. Even though it’s located in a busy area, the street it’s on is quiet and this gives a relaxed feel to the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were very hospitable. We loved our stay at Batu Empug cottages. Highly recommended!!

Clean and spacious room. 10-15 min walking distance from ubud central. Breakfast was nice and could be delivered to room. The most amazing thing about the hotel was the staff. They were all super friendly and helpful. The only thing that can be improved is that the hair dryer is a bit weak.

Betu Empug Cottages is a small hotel, located in a lovely quiet side street, with some small businesses and lots of family compounds nearby. We were able to walk easily into the heart of Ubud to shop or have dinner. Our room was comfortable and well set up and the bathroom was large. The air con and wifi worked well. Staff welcomed us and check in was smooth. They even surprised my husband with a birthday song and cake on our balcony, which was lovely. We enjoyed eating breakfast at the front cafe and the options were plentiful for us. We also dined in at the cafe on a couple of occasions and it was great. We would definitely stay again when visiting Ubud.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen. Staff welcomed us and check in was smooth. They even surprised my husband with a birthday song and cake on our balcony, which was lovely. I stayed 8 nights at The Batu Empug Cottages & thoroughly enjoyed my time. The staff are all so friendly, responsive & helpful. The hotel is thankfully off the very busy Main Street of Ubud but within a very short walk from so many things like the many restaurants of Ubud, The Monkey Forest, Palace & a beautiful walk through the rice fields. Lucky bonus - the owners son’s wedding occurred during my stay and all hotel patrons were invited to attend. Great time, great hotel… I’d definitely stay here again.

This was an incredible hotel to stay at, very clean, safe and in a phenomenal location. Just off the really busy streets but less than a 10 minute easy walk to the center of Ubud. The rooms, outdoor lobby, pools and restaurant were incredibly clean and the staff was kind, excellent and very helpful. Our room was large and looked out into beautifully kept gardens and a very clean and pretty pool. The beds and pillows were very new and incredibly comfortable. And in room amenities were excellent. The hotel was so beautiful, serene and cozy. It’s centrally located in Ubud and there are so many good food options that are within a walkable distance. Even though it’s located in a busy area, the street it’s on is quiet and this gives a relaxed feel to the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were very hospitable. We loved our stay at Batu Empug cottages. Highly recommended!!

Batu Empug Cottages is a small hotel but neat and clean with fabulous and helpful staff. It is conveniently located in quiet laneway not far from the markets and dining places. Yoga studios are a 5 minute walk away. The pool is clean with towels provided. A small cafe on site makes wonderful local dishes and serves drinks and snacks pool side. I will most definitely stay here again.

The property located near the temple where they conduct daily ceremonies late evening and there is a lot of loud noise/ loud music after 10 pm and continue to midnight . The food has is very limited choices. The room had only one towel ( bath), you have to ask for face towel, and the room had only 3 cloth hangers. The room did not have any mirrors, except in the dark bathroom , where the lights were dimmed.

Clean and spacious room. 10-15 min walking distance from ubud central. Breakfast was nice and could be delivered to room. The most amazing thing about the hotel was the staff. They were all super friendly and helpful. The only thing that can be improved is that the hair dryer is a bit weak.

Although twin room was booked on the website, the room assigned was one double bed room, had to insist and request to add an extra bed in the room, after all fine. Pool was nice. Very nice, very clean & bfast was fabulous and menu food was delicious. Manager he was so wonderful, drove us to Benoa for flying board + water activities for free. He was so generous to do that and me & girlfriends were so grateful. Excellent service & highly recommend

This was an incredible hotel to stay at, very clean, safe and in a phenomenal location. Just off the really busy streets but less than a 10 minute easy walk to the center of Ubud. The rooms, outdoor lobby, pools and restaurant were incredibly clean and the staff was kind, excellent and very helpful. Our room was large and looked out into beautifully kept gardens and a very clean and pretty pool. The beds and pillows were very new and incredibly comfortable. And in room amenities were excellent. The hotel restaurant was amazing with multiple choices for a full included breakfast and fantastic food for lunch and dinner at incredible prices, less than half the cost of places 5 min away and tasted way better! You need to try the banana pancakes and the carbonara! I cannot say enough good things about this perfect hotel. And I highly recommend anybody to stay here and will be recommending it to everybody I know back in my country that comes to Bali.
