Nice hotel, conveniently central and next to a whole restaurant row of great little restaurants. If you’re a walker, it’s only 15 mins south to Chinatown and 15 mins northeast to the Towers. Handy. Rooms are nice, pool was lovely, though there weren’t many seats. Really good breakfast bar. Iffy WiFi was my only complaint. Sometimes great, sometimes barely there.

I was disappointed with this stay. I usually choose Autograph Collection hotels for their boutique character the Autograph Collection in Penang is an excellent example of this but this property felt more like a standard Marriott. My room had a brick design covering the window, leaving no view. I was told most rooms are like this, which was surprising. The pool area is nice, but there are VERY few lounge chairs, the pool bar doesn’t open until 3 PM, and food ordered through the front desk took nearly two hours. Dining options were also limited, especially for solo travelers. With so many excellent 5-star hotels in KL, this was my least favorite and I would not choose it again

Really cool roof bar and pool with great view. Rooms are excellent, at times the ac was a little fierce so wear a jumper at breakfast. Staff are the best part of the hotel. Very helpful and professional.

Fantastic hotel in a nice part of KL. Lots of good restaurants nearby, we went to Black and White which was practically next door and Heritage Pizza, try Gavel for a craft beer beforehand. Staff at the hotel were very helpful, particularly Bokal at the breakfast buffet. Nice pool on the roof, get there early for the sun loungers though.

Friendly and efficient staff, had us checked in and in our room in no time. Hotel was clean and modern with all required amenities. Breakfast was great with plenty of freshly prepared hot and cold options. The hotel itself is a five minute walk from a couple of metro lines, very handy for setting the rest of KL. having said that, there is plenty of shops and restaurants around the nearby chow kit and jalan kamunting areas if you don't fancy going too far. Highly recommended!

Prima hotel op een goede locatie. 5 min lopen van een metro station. Uitzicht is adembenemend bij de rooftocht. Helaas is het zwembad niet heel schoon en wordt het glas waardoor je moet kijken om de skyline van KL te zien ook niet heel goed schoon gehouden. Verder zijn de kamers erg mooi en wel schoon.

6月に一人旅で3泊しました。 LRTの DangWang駅とMRTのMedanTuanku駅が利用できて便利でした。ドアマン、レセプション、クリニーングスタッフの接客サービスは丁寧で印象が良かったです。部屋は、清潔感があり適度な広さでした。シャワーのみの部屋でしたが、トイレと別れているので使いやすかったです。ホテル周辺には朝食・昼食・夕食の取れる店やコーヒーショップもあり良かったです。コンビニも近くにあります。最上階にあるプールからは、KLタワーが見えます。昼も夜も景色が良かったです。

Friendly and Polite Staff Clean Room and the Hotel overall is well-maintained Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a nice weekend getaway. The coffee machine was a treat! TV channels aren't great...but we were not there to watch TV! The Pool was small but clean. It's attached to the Bar that served small bites. For a city hotel, it was good enough. The Gym - very well-kept and clean. The only disappointing thing was dinner. We had booked dinner for 2 nights and only found out later that the menu for the 2 nights was the same shared platter for 2. So we decided to forego the 2nd night.

Super nice hotel. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft and clean. The only thing we did not like was the bathroom sink that was placed in the room. Also the glass wall between the shower and the room did not give much privacy when traveling with a friend. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was really good.

The hotel is fine but some amenities like the washing basin is in the bedroom that is unsightly and inconvenient in-house maintenance not fully taking care off as in our room’s latch screws were loose on top of that the breakfasts areas there were houseflies on our first day of breakfast 🙁

Our first time at Stripes having stayed at a range of other hotels in KL and would highly recommend. Great service, spacious rooms (with the upgrade to have a tub) and good breakfast. Service was excellent and speedy. Also location was great, lots of good eateries nearby and walking distance to Pavilion etc. enjoyed the rooftop pool and gym, The only things to improve would be to sweep the water by the poolside steps as it got quite slippery throughout the day or have more grip mats for the area Breakfast - would be useful to move the egg station as the queue blocks access to the other buffet items around it But these are minor feedback points the place is fab and good value for money!

Amazing trip made even more with our stay at Hotel Stripes. Staff are the most helpful and accommodating especially Towfiq. He tirelessly made sure we got booked to Hop on Hop off. He even went out of his way lending us his credit card first just so we can book. Imagine? Oh well…. Is that is not kindness I don’t know what it is

Room was fine but bed a bit hard. The staff in the roof top bar made us feel unwelcome as we were not club members so did not qualify for happy hour. One waiter accused my wife of non payment after pursuing her to the lift only to be told I was at the bar signing-very uncomfortable being accused of a crime we did not commit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stripes, conveniently located for the main tourist sites as well as nearby monorail links to the main station. There's an excellent coffee shop/breakfast venue directly opposite if you don't fancy the more elaborate hotel one on offer. The hotel has all the facilities of a modern international hotel with very high standards of service and comfort. We particularly enjoyed the fabulous rooftop pool with a wonderful view of the city. An issue for us is that we did find it rather noisy despite being on the 12th floor. We were told this was probably due to a nearby nightclub although it seemed more of a mechanical than musical noise. We were also very surprised to be asked to pay a deposit - still don't know why given credit cards generally suffice for that purpose. We are told it will take 7 to 14 working days to be credited back to us too - seems very odd ...

Pulizia e staff eccellente, piscina e area piscina troppo piccole per il numero di ospiti. Praticamente impossibile trovare un lettino libero. Buona area gym, ristorante funzionante solo nei weekend (!) . La struttura si trova in un’area non proprio centrale e non proprio comoda con metro. Ci sono diversi ristoranti nei dintorni dell’hotel, ma anche molto sporco. La camera è abbastanza comoda, anche se personalmente preferisco il lavandino all’interno del bagno e non accanto al letto. Non ci tornerei.

Städningen, personalen hotellet överlag var topp betyg! Men frukosten var under all kritik. Vi köpte till det endast en gång som tur, hotellet är 5 stjärniga men skippa frukosten, skulle säga att den är som ett 3 stjärnigt hotell. Utöver frukosten älska vi allt allt. Vi fick tillomed en uppgradering vilket vi blev sjukt tacksamma över!

Great service by all staff.Organisation of food at breakfast could be improved- ie - breakfast before 9.00 was excellent but after food plates -fruit, pastries, hot plates not refilled immediately when empty. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly.

They have an obsession about air conditioning, everywhere is so cold, like 16 °C maybe. Outside was nice and warm and inside very cold, we had to wear duvets . The overall feeling is average, bedding quite clean but the rest not outstanding. For the breakfast they have cold fruits although there are plenty of fruits in this country they serve them cold and NO BANANAS. What tropical country doesn't have bananas at breakfast??? I wouldn't take my friends here that is certain.

Dining in the hotel is not available most days, but there are many good and fancy restaurants just outside the hotel. In our 4 days we tried so many varieties and all are good. 7eleven us just nearby as well. No laundry though. Overall we will likely return to stay there again.
