Small but modern hotel in a great location. About 10min walk to Old Town, but far enough away from the noise of the tourist centre. There is also a convenience store across the road and a shopping centre 5 mins walk away. The rooms are small but clean and with plenty of power points. Shower is huge and powerful, with free body wash provided. Restaurant is good with vegan and veggie options and there is a nice bar and common area. Only complaint are the pillows which were very uncomfortable - no support so we did not sleep well. If better pillows were provided it would be a perfect stay.

De kamer was mooi gedecoreerd, ruim, rustig, goed verlicht en zeer schoon. Ik voelde mij meteen thuis in deze kamer en in het hotel. Prima bed. Ook de receptie/het restaurant was modern ingericht en fraai gedecoreerd met genoeg zitmogelijkheden. Bij het ontbijt was er voldoende keuze in brood, beleg, fruit, koffie en thee. Het hotel ligt in een rustige buurt. De belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en het station zijn op loopafstand. 's Avonds heb ik in het hotel wel eens een drankje gedronken. Het personeel was altijd aardig en zeer hulpvaardig. De prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding heb ik als zeer gunstig ervaren. Gdansk is een mooie stad met prachtige huizen en boeiende musea. Ik denk terug aan een fijne tijd en kan iedereen aanraden Gdansk te bezoeken en een kamer in dit hotel te boeken. Mijn complimenten aan het management en het personeel. Als klant heb ik meerdere goede ervaringen met Ibis-hotels gehad.

Nice room with a decent shower. The hotel bar closes early and after that you can only get bottles which is strange. It's a good walk into town but all in all a nice hotel

Everything you need for a sightseeing trip to this beautiful city. Rooms spacious enough, beds (twin) ok, bathroom upgraded, daily room service, breakfast plenty of variety to choose from. Parking out front (extra charge), conveniently located to historical part of city and shopping, great restaurant directly opposite of hotel with polish cuisine. Thank you.

Service was great. The room was decent size. Had everything you need. Pretty good location to the square. Only thing I wish they did was filled up the body soap and hand soap prior to customer check in. Both bottles were about 1/4 fill when got to the room.

Enlig fint hotel, der var rent og pænt. Dog glemte housekeeping os og vi måtte bede om rengøring på trods af skilt på håndtaget der bad om rengøring. Morgenmaden var bestemt ikke noget at håbe hurra over, det var smagløst og kun konsistenserne gjorde man vidst det var forskellige ting man spiste.

Fantastisk personal från reception till städ, glada och hjälpsamma. Rent och fräscht i hela hotellet. Mycket trevlig lounge. Mitt sällskap testade tre av rätterna från restaurangen och alla var mer än nöjda med maten. Frukosten erbjöd något för alla. Sköna sängar. Vi hade rum med dubbelsäng. Dessa hade ett stort täcke vilket jag inte är van vid. Hade bokat rum med två enkelsängar om jag vetat detta. Lugnt och tyst på natten. Mycket bra läge. Rekommenderas!

Clean, simple room, clean bathroom, good size for one person. The closet though was way too small and the bed was very uncomfortable, especially old, “broken” pillows. I have stayed in countless hotels all over the world, but never had such awful pillows and mattress topper. Breakfast buffet was nice with many options, but after eating exactly the same for three days, I was looking forward to some other food choices. No such luck. Every day for six of my stay the breakfast buffet items were exactly the same. Also, no gluten-free or dairy-free options, which is a standard in hotels these days.

4 nights in this Ibis hotel. Walking distance away from old town. Clean and comfortable room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Peaceful room and didn’t hear any noises from outside. No traffic, nothing. Breakfast was ok but still bit dull. Only minus in hotel room is that there is no safe deposit box.

Very clean and modern, breakfast was really good with many options. We did have a problem with the air conditioning as the weather was really cold but the heating didn't work. We informed reception who reset the air conditioner 3 times to no avail. In the end they gave us a portable oil radiator which did the job. Staff were pleasant and helpful especially the young lady who worked the bar in the evenings. very happy and pleasant.

Air conditioner didn’t work. I ask to fix it, but they didn’t. As I live on North Pole the hot weather almost kill me. Sleeping in my own sweat is not ok.

When we reached, it turned out that they've somehow managed to put us and our friends in the same room even though we have booked the rooms separately. Thanks to the guys at the reception, they've reserved a new room in a close-by hotel and we stayed there.

I stayed in the Radisson Blu the day before. This IBIS is one thousand times better! Because of the staff - friendly, organised and will help out. For example my power bank had lost its charge. The Radisson would not help the previous day “we dont do such things”. IBIS helped straight away. They are brilliant. Five stars, 10/10, awesome, outstanding, amazing - i run out of words. Trevligt bemötande vid ankomst. Trevlig personal i restaurangen. Rent och fräscht rum. Hade dock önskat även en papperskorg i rummet. Plastskydden på sängarna är hemska, men sängarna är sköna. Enda minuset på vistelsen är att frukosten blev sämre och sämre för varje dag. Sista dagen serverades gamla sega frallor. Och yoghurten var som mjölk med mixad jordgubb. Vi drack en kaffe och gick och handlade frukost någon annanstans.

The hotel itself was great; the location, staff, cleanliness, functionality -all good. What REALLY disappointed me was the breakfast; pretty much nothing available should you happen to follow a meat-free diet. If you're vegetarian/vegan I would recommend the hotel but skip the breakfast - there's a fine restaurant in town (Manna 68) that does a fine breakfast instead.
