The pool and hot tub water reeked like swamp water. The jets in the hot tub hardly worked and the first night the water was very hot ,almost to the point of not using it. Drinking lemon water in foyer was rancid.. couldn't drink it because of fowl smell.

Better gym.

Good hotel. Great fitness room. Good pool and spa. Typical cheap breakfast.

Just off the highway with gas stations and groceries nearby. Check in was quick and staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Bed very comfortable. Lots of parking. Free breakfast was good with many choices (Yogurts, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, sausage, bananas, pancakes, waffles, bagels, etc.). There is a restaurant right next door that has great food. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is nasty dirty. My friend and I each had a room. Both showers were gross. I bought a gallon of vinegar and we scrubbed the showers. One shower head was plugged. One toilet had sticky yellow pee all over the seat. They were draining the pool but said it would be full and warm overnight. Manager repeated that when I questioned his promise. The next day the pool was hardly 2/3 full with cold water from a garden hose. Manager does not understand or speak English. Neither do some other staff.

Dishonest and sneaky! When i booked on Expedia, I checked the pet option to see if there were any fees, there was none listed, even though i selected that i had a pet So i get to the hotel to check in and the desk person says there is a $30 fee for each pet. I explained that I checked Pet option on Expedia, she said its a local fee, not anything to do with Expedia. She said ok when i explained again, leading me to believe there would be no charge. then when i checked out there was a fee of $30 for extra purchases. Im not sure who I am most disappointed in; Expedia for not saying there was a fee, or the sneaky hotel owners adding separate fees for ‘local charges’

Overall it was a “okay” stay, for one night, would not recommend to stay for more We checked in, and got told that all pool and hot tubs were out of service, but it was “avalible” when we booked, so I believe we payed for it… The breakfast wasn’t something to brag about, cold eggs, no fruit, juice tastet mostly like water.. bread was dry…

Loved the large, newer got tub and swimming pool was a good size too. Breakfasts were tasty. Good location with lovely view. Staff were friendly. Stayed 2 nights.

Check-in was fast and easy, the room was lovely! The shower had someone else's hair in it so it could have used a bit more care during the previous clean up. The toilet would not flush properly which was unpleasant. But otherwise everything was great.

windows in the room were dirty with fingerprints at ~ waist height so obviously from a child-we didn't have a child with us so had to be from previous tenant at some time and the sink in the bath room had water spots on the tap that easily wiped off.

Nice and clean!

The hotel is not busy, only few visitor and they gave us 2nd floor room without a view. The room windows faces the hotel front building structure so it is blocking the view. We were so disappointed.

Our stay at Comfort Inn & Suites in Merritt B.C. was good. Staff were good. Only real complaint was the air conditioning was noisy in our room. I was going to tell the staff next morning , but forgot when we left. My main complaint was Hotels .com. It was Friday August 30. I had my wife check on line and it appeared there were hardly any rooms left in Merritt. We were tired, travelled all day from Red Deer AB going to Vancouver, so I asked my wife to book it as it was getting later in the day. Turns out , I'm guessing it was only about 30% to 40% booked from what I could tell how full the parking lot was. Next day we went to Burnaby , did a short visit and turned around and headed back towards Alberta. It was late in the evening so we stopped in Merritt again. It was Saturday August 31 and the roads were busy. We stopped again at Comfort Inn & Suits and I thought we may not get a room as the parking lot was full. We did stop and the lady at the desk did fit us in, she was very pleasant and helpful. We did not book ahead this time, thus were billed directly from Comfort Inn & Suites. It was considerably cheaper than going through Hotels.com. In the future I will always check directly with the hotel first.

This hotel was newly renovated and our room was great! The only issues were the fan on the heater/air conditioner would not shut off and it was noisy! Their toilet paper was not the best quality (softness) but it worked

Nice new hotel, great views over the Nicola Valley( looking south), eateries not to far away, walkable to several. Rooms large, big showers nice & clean.

The rooms were wonderful. Spacious, clean and homey. A sitting area with a sofa and chair where you can actually watch t.v. and not have to lay on the bed. The coffee proved in the room was great. The complimentary breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Best hotel i stayed in on my short vacation.

Staff was great! Room was clean. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were great!

Comfortable beds!

Our room was quiet and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom and shower were in great condition. The hallways were wide and bright. In the breakfast nook, china dishes and stainless steel cutlery were provided, rather than the typical paper plates and plastic cutler. We will return.

property seems to be brand new. Room was great, bed too with nice sitting area (maybe we got an upgrade). But air conditioning unit mad very high pitched whine so we shut it off. I reported to front desk. nice staff

Great person at the front desk.

The young lady Jill Power at the front desk was absolutely lovely and welcoming and made our check-in and additional evenings pleasant and welcoming each time we came back to the hotel. She is a great asset to your team!

Hotel caught fire about 1 in the morning on the night we were there. Had to evacuate with no other options from the hotel with putting us up somewhere else. Had to pay for another elsewhere

Nice place on the way from Banff to Vancouver while driving

Good view of hills and highways. Good breakfast. Convenient on and off of BC-5 for a overnight stop.

This is a newer property in the Merritt area. Great location as easy to get too off of the highway & close to gas stations, food & some big box stores. Breakfast was solid & very nice staff who were kind enough to let us check in early as only one of us wanted to fish at nearby Corbett Lake. For sure nicer & newer than the nearby Ramada. We would return for sure.

Clean, no issues, easy check in. The breakfast had a nice variety of fruits, sausages, eggs, and a waffle maker. Juice, water, coffee, and tea were available. The area of Merritt was an overnight stop for us, so we did not get a chance to see what was available in the area.
