This place was great except that the water was not drinkable including signs on all doors to not drink water. NO WATER available anywhere in the morning. Could not make coffee tale meds or anything. However, the upstairs dining room and bar are spectacular. Food was great. Ambianceincredible. We felt like we were staying with family.

Mouse poops in drawers. No batteries for tv remote. No zip line false advertising. Over chlorine in pool and close at 4h30. No fish in pond. Wood for fire 10$ for 5 small piece. Waitress very slow at the bar ans overall will never go again.

Notre nuit à l'hôtel du Parc Mont citadelle a été désastreuse... À notre arrivée, l'hôte nous a donné les clés d'une chambre déjà occupée (la personne dormait et nous sommes rentrées dans sa chambre avant de s'en apercevoir...). De plus, nous avons trouvé une serviette trouée et humide (mangée par une souris ?!), les draps étaient tachés et ne semblaient pas lavés (nous avons préféré dormir sur le par-dessus)... Nous avons voulu exprimer notre mécontentement lors de notre départ mais il n'y avait aucun employé sur place à 10h du matin ( horaires habituels d'ouverture). C'est la première fois qu'on dort dans un endroit aussi désagréable, pourtant nous ne sommes pas difficiles.

It was evident the property is short staffed, basic needs were met, however, no one was at the front counter when we checked in. The counters in both the bathroom and kitchen were left uncleaned with toothpaste and soap residue from previous occupants. There were no linens for the pull out and the linens on the beds were stained (however appeared to have been washed). There were also dust bunnies in many locations on the floor of the unit. It is unfortunate, because although dated, the place has a lot of potential, and many of the issues we had relate to staffing, and attention to detail.

Love the property, great bfast, comfortable bed. Thought I reserved a room within the main building, but on arrival was informed I reserved a "tiny home" close by. It was still nice but no air conditioning .... nice ceiling fan though. The main problem was the screens had major holes ... the screen in the door , which allowed mosquitoes in.... oh, and couldn't figure out how to turn the lamp on. Beautiful little cabin though and great staff.

Overall we had an OK stay. The cabin was well laid out and worked really well for our family. We had to sweep the floors when we arrived as it was a bit dirty but that was ok. The real issue was the terrible beds, my wife and I ended up sleeping on the floor and couch because it was impossible to get comfortable with those mattresses. Other than that this was a great stop over for us and the folks at the front desk were very friendly.

Nice hidden gem! We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and it was big and clean. Perfect for our family road trip stop. The family running the place was nice and friendly. The park and game room is great for the kids. Highly recommend this stay!

Beautiful country setting. Room was spacious and clean with a gorgeous ensuite. The bed, however, was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattress. Restaurant on site had good pub food.

Very basic accommodations—small and spartan but very clean. It has a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good value for money. The walls are very thin and we were entertained by the love making antics of our upstairs neighbours all night long. This made it difficult to sleep because they made a lot of noise. The on-site restaurant offers good basic food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is only offered at 9:00 which is much too late for travellers who want to get an early start. When I explained this to our host he provided me with croissants and fresh fruit to take to my room the night before.

This hotel would best be described as "ok". Unfortunately the owner is overwhelmed and was running the place alone when we were there so we ordered food (hotdogs, burgers, poutine and nuggets for $60) and it took a little over an hour to arrive and the order wasn't 100% what we ordered. The yurt was fine, what you'd expect, but we had to wait a long time to check-in because it was still being cleaned despite checking in late (we notified them so they left our room to last for cleaning). Overall if he had more help this place could be great. We booked it for the novelty of the yurt for the kids but wouldn't spend $200/night to stay again.

There was a lot of confusion with our booking, someone else was given our room. The hotel did out it’s in another chalet, but then we received a receipt (via email) that was not ours and we spent 1 hour trying to sort out if our credit card had been mistakenly charged.

An incredible place to stay. Gorgeous setting in the woods, nice clean cabin with everything you need to enjoy the property and a restaurant down the lane. Waited out a big snow storm here in a postcard setting. Beautiful property and only minutes from the transcanada hwy.

This was a great find. I was just passing through Quebec and chose this spot because it was close to the highway and it was a very good price. I didn't realize it is also a large camp ground. The resto bar is great with lots of choices. The gentleman that checked me in was also the bartender so I would suggest if you come to check in and are waiting a bit, just pop your head into the bar and ask if you can check in. I will definitely stay here again.

We loved the chalet we stayed in. Private and cozy. Everything you could want in a kitchen was available. The bedrooms were a decent size, the living area was spacious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant service was fast, and all of our meals were delicious. It was very peaceful. We hope to enjoy the wood stove in a chalet during the winter.
