This was our experience staying 3 nights. Location is really good close to metro station and the Royal Palace thats about it for positives. *There are No Safes/ Locker in rooms. After our first morning exploring we returned back and our room door was not shut after cleaning. Thankfully nothing was missing as our passports and belonginings were there. For saftey we called the front desk to just let them know about it. They mentioned they noted it down for the manager and that was perfect. Next day of exploring we retuned back to our room this time door was locked. But what seems like retaliation the cleaning staff did not even make our bed. Just threw 2 new face towels in the bathroom and left. I took pictures of the state of the room and then infromed the front desk. The staff was appologetic and shocked, they told me to email the manager (madrid@thesocialhub.co) they infromed me they have forwaded my email and will get back to me shortly. So far no response which is the reason why im leaving a review. We travel to many cities over the past 5 years and never had complaints at anybof our stays. This is the first time im actually leaving a review for a hotel because of the lack of reponse. Hopefully this is a one off situation and not occur moving forward. (Will post pictures if hotel.com allows of how we came back to the "cleaned" room.
