The location is perfect for beach access. Beautiful sunsets and lounging on the upper deck. The house is a bit quirky in that the lounge area is upstairs and the kitchen is downstairs. Yes you can cram 12 people into the property but it would be a disaster. The place is too small for 12 people. If 10 of them were children under 12 that would work. The decor is very dated and tired. The inside is very dark downstairs too because of all the timber and the only small TV is upstairs which has issues with the internet dropping out regularly. The property is fenced and quite safe out the back. The occasional visit from wallabies and rabbits was a bonus. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils but lacked some essential items that you would expect at that price point. A welcome basket with some fresh local produce would have been a nice touch and something I have come to expect at the price point. Two doors down there are two small dogs that are constantly barking which I found disturbed my peace and quiet and tranquility which I came for. The owners seemed happy to let them continue to bark without stopping them. The stove is new and I loved that. The pantry had salt, pepper & sauce. Many places would at least provide enough to put together a basic meal for starters. There is easy ramp access to the beach nearby. Helpful for the elderly or those with mobility issues.Overall I enjoyed my stay but as mentioned the place needs some work to justify the price they are asking for it.

The Pink House is a charming beach holiday house in a beautiful location and we had an enjoyable holiday. The bedroom configuration as described is a bit misleading, the description of two double beds in the second bedroom should actually read ‘two double bunk beds’. The overall cleanliness of the house has room for improvement. The cleaners should have ensured that the bins were emptied and sufficient bin liners provided. Setting aside the negatives, it was an excellent stay on the Island.
