Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Strand in 10 min. Altstadt in 20 min. Razmatazz in 3 min. Sehr sehr nettes Personal. Gutes essen an der Theke. Nette Sitzmöglichkeiten. Liegt ruhig. Staff and Service were good. Since it's an urban hotel, you are surrounded by graffiti covered buildings and garbage. The beds were okay. They are old so they have mattress toppers. The rooms are nice but small. The rooftop pool is a nice touch, but the vibe is kind of blah and the drinks are very expensive and watered down. The internet was very slow. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the beach and many good restaurants.This is a 3 star hotel with some good amenities near some popular areas.

Excellent hotel and it's probably the best Ibis I've been to. It's a 2 min walk from Bogatell Metro Station. The area seems to be upcoming but at our time of stay, there were lots of construction around. Room cleaning were impeccable. Very helpful and attentive staffs in general. They have a little corner for refreshment (like trea, coffee and small croissants). I'm always looking forward to the daily agrumes mix water / lemonade when I come back to the hotel in the afternoon. Koodos to the manager and staffs for running such a great spot. Great job and looking forward to come back again!

Aktuell (Juli 2024) ist eine sehr laute Baustelle nebenan, am Wochenende ist es ruhig, wochentags ist es ab ca. 8/ halb 9 auf der Bausstellenzimmerseite laut. Sollte man als Langschläfer bedenken, für uns war es kein Problem. Am Eingang gibt es Sonnenschirme und Schnorchelausrüstung für den Strand zum kostenlosen Ausleihen, sehr toller Service auf Vertrauensbasis!

Positives: Good hotel for families. Staff very kind and professional. We had two rooms - both clean, spacious and modern. Pool area (includes bar hut and some casual seating) is a bonus after a long day sightseeing. Downstairs bar/restaurant area also nice. Alcohol and drink prices reasonable. Bogatell beach only a 15/20min walk away. Breakfast - nice Continental but limited, although enough to eat for breakfast. Negatives - no coffee or hot drinks facilities in the room. No place to hang towels (no door hooks etc). Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable- you could feel the springs poking through. Asked for an extra duvet to soften this but told they did not have any. Parking - 20euros per night! Despite being an ibis owned carpark there is no discount for guests. However, it is a secure underground carpark. Area - Not a great area and not the side of Barcelona you really want to stay in. Run down and appears to be a bit ‘dodgy’. Bogatell metro - not open for a few months so transport was either an Uber or other tube which was a ten min walk via the dodgy bits and meant getting two metros to get somewhere which would have been ten mins max via Bogatell station. My advice - get a car if Bogatell metro is closed. We got one for the last three days of our stay and it was worth it especially in 34 degree heat. Area - I’ve stayed in El Born/Gothic Quarter previously and would stick to those areas if I were to visit BCN again.

It was a great stay. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable. The only thing is that it lacked sone basic items like slippers, trash bags and a good toothpaste. But overall it was a nice experience and is worth the price. The staff was kind and friendly. I appreciate everything plus the welcoming note.

The room was clean and tidy with a good amount of space. Main thing was no kettle as we visited in January, however the hotel staff were helpful and managed to lend one to us. absolut schrecklicher aufenthalt. während des eincheckens hat receptionistin mit einer anderen person telefoniert, ich fühlte mich nicht willkommen. im hotel gab es viele gäste aus indien, die vor den hotelzimmern in den gängen den ganzen tag und auch in der nacht laut telefonieren. die zimmer sind zudem sehr hellhörig, mein zimmernachbar hat ab 4 uhr morgens lautstark mit seiner verwandschaft aus indien telefoniert, ich wurde dadurch unsanft geweckt und konnte nachher nicht mehr einschlafen. vor dem hotel gibt es im moment zwei riesige baustellen, die tagsüber einen riesigen lärm verursachen. frühstück war plus minus ok, beim auschecken hst mich niemand gefragt, ob es mir gefallen hat. ich werde sicher nicht zürückkommen

The Hotel is right next to the train station very convenient, the staff is very friendly and courteous,I was not able to use the pool do to the weather, I think that I was not happy about it was that the AC was off and the room was kind of hot for this reason I would never stay at this hotel again , I called the front desk but the reason they gave me was that the hotel was an ecological hotel but I was not able to sleep the 3 days that I was there .

The hotel room was very clean and it was cleaned daily, but I did not like the furnishings, the room seemed a bit cool and sterile. Also, the condition was no longer the best, for example, the bathroom door was always stuck and was difficult to open. Unfortunately, there was also no safe and no minibar. The breakfast was very good, except for the scrambled eggs which were always a bit runny. But there was a very large selection. The location of the hotel is quite good, a subway station is just around the corner and the beach is about 10 minutes walk.

Seamless check in, very well behaved staff and good, functional rooms are the highlight of this place. Noises from the neighbouring room easily transmit through the walls and each time a door is shut in the corridor, the vacuum creates a movement of the doors making a thud noise that woke me up at night with a start. It’s walking distance from the beach but do not expect any views of the sea. A chain like Ibis could do better in my opinion. 5/5 rating for the staff however.

Hotel is a brand new construction with a beautiful pool in the roof and a 24 hour bar in the lobby and one block from a train station that will connect you to any part of the city. The room is comfortable and no noise from outside, although at night when there is no noise at all, you can hear noise of water running like one of the other guests having a shower. Also lacks a safer (for passports) and a small fridge. Hotel provides ice, but you need to go to the lobby to get some ice, otherwise a great hotel.

Great staff. Check-in was smooth. Very comfy bed! We loved the rooftop pool, with the bar lounge and big pool towels. After we checked out, we were still allowed to use the pool, which was a big plus for us. One block from the metro (L4) made visiting points of interest very convenient. Highly recommend!

I love this hotel , it’s a 10 minute metro travel . Metro is 2 minutes away from here (Bogatell station) L4 will be your best friend to get around Barcelona ! I would by the pass for the amount of days you are there . You can use to pass for the bus and the metro ! Apple Maps helped us get around it gave us times , directions , and the bus and metro we had to get ! The staff was amazing , the last day check out was at 12pm and our flight was at 7pm we wanted to explore for a bit more , they allowed us to keep our luggage there and come back for it !

I literally cannot fault this hotel. It had a very welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, the staff were always cheerful and helpful. The facilities were immaculate. The food was delicious. The bar was well stocked. We were well looked after during a significant power cut too! I mentioned we were travelling for my daughter’s 18th birthday when booking - at check in she was wished happy birthday and given sweets, and when we got to our room we were welcomed with cake, balloons and a birthday message on the mirror. These personal touches meant a lot!!

Super für einen Städtetripp! Wir waren 3 Nächte im Hotel. Alles hat prima geklappt. U-Bahn Haltestelle 3 Minuten entfernt, in 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Gegenüber ein Café, in dem wir sehr günstig und lecker (echt spanisch) gefrühstückt haben. Sehr gerne wieder!

Hotel is on metro line Diagonal so its just 4 or 5 stops away from main tourist areas. It is also just 8 minutes or so walk to the beach. So the location is good. But it is also close to several famous clubs so Friday and Saturday nights were somewhat noisy if your room is facing the front streets, as there would be bunches of teenagers gathering before or after they go to the clubs.

The location was perfect for public transport (Bogatell Metro is a 1 minute walk – only a 5 minute ride to the international conference centre and the same time away in the other direction from Le Barceloneta) and cool areas like the Port Olimpico marina, Parc de la Ciutadella, Arc de Triomf and Pobleneu are all a very manageable walk away. The Sagrada Familia Basilica was within 20 mins on foot and we walked all the way back from our visit to Parc Guell too. The latter was not a short walk but was really interesting, including the lovely Mercat de l’Abaceria indoor food market. The area had lovely cafes and restaurants nearby and two convenience stores within a couple of minutes for water, fruit etc. I actually only used the in-house café on our last day and the coffee was the nicest I had all week. The outdoor courtyard was lovely for a latenight glass of wine to unwind. There’s a rooftop pool, bar and sunbathing area which is small but perfectly functional and is a nice place to chill. We didn’t eat there but the breakfast looked lively and on our last night I saw a man eating what looked like a lovely steak. There’s a taxi rank too, so longer trips or airport returns are super-easy. Staff were polite and helpful. Our room was turned over daily and was clean with a lovely shower and more storage space than originally met the eye. The TV and WiFi both worked well, as did the room’s aircon. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this hotel again.

Great staff, place is not as close to things as we had hoped. Anything touristy was about a 20-30 minute walk, which in the grand scheme is great if you have a full day planned but if you wanted to sightsee during the day and then go back again later at night it was a bit of a trek. If you’re prepared to Uber or bus, the location is good. The AC in the rooms were okay, by the end of the week it seemed our stuff was damp and things wouldn’t dry properly in the room.

Nice modern hotel. Staff super friendly. Close to metro so great for ease of travelling around. Beds not the most comfortable in world. Breakfast was good maybe a bit more variety would be a bit to improve. when it gets busy it isn’t the biggest area so can get a bit congested. Out stay was in October but it’s close to the beach which would be great if your stay is in high season and good weather.
