Hôtel parfait à tout point. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et vraiment propres. Le lieu est calme, tres peu bruyant. Idéalement placé, à 15 minutes à pied du centre ville et à 3 minutes de l'arrêt de métro, il permet de rayonner facilement sur la ville. Le petit-déjeuner est vraiment complet, il y a un grand choix et la qualité est parfaite. Un parking à 20€ par jour est disponible. Une belle découverte, hôtel idéal

Alles bestens; U-Bahn ganz in der Nähe und for free; Parkhaus für 20€ nutzbar; Hotel sehr sauber und gepflegt; alles was man für einen kleinen Stopover benötigt

Sehr saubere Zimmer. Dass es sich um eine Dependence des Spitals mit Patienten handelt, war für mich nicht klar. Aber es ist ein gutes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern.

Large room, nice breakfast, close to metro station, parking at the hotel (20 CHF per day)

The restaurant at the property served very good steak. The property is basically a part of the hospital next door and you will see some patients who stay for the hospital cares in the breakfast venue. It felt strange when we realised that fact, but actually not a problem at all for the quality and price you get. And we saw a few new-born babies, which is a blessing.

Excellent hôtel dans le centre hospitalier de Lausanne. Confortable, propre, petit-déjeuner digne d'un 5 étoiles. Parking souterrain pratique. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Attention cet hotel est dans un hôpital.. Rien de problematique en soit très pratique pour les personnes se rendant à l'hopital, pour les autres l'ambiance est hyper morose, anxiogène, blouses blanches, ambulances au parking.. À titre personnel je n'aime pas les hopitaux et aurait préféré savoir en avance pour reserver autre chose, sinon cet hotel est pratique pour les personnes qui frequentent l'hopital..

Surpris du concept d'avoir un hôtel mixant à la fois une partie voyage et une partie "convalescence hospitalière" mais vraiment très bien, surtout que le service était vraiment très bien. Bravo à l'équipe qui a été aux petits soins

Clean, very large rooms for a reasonable price. There was a group of 9 of us with 4 rooms for a weekend in Lausanne. Everyone was pleasently suprised with the rooms. Breakfast whilst basic, was good. Especially as it was included as standard. Location was brilliant. Walkable to the centre as well ad Geneva lake if you don't mind a long walk. Or right near a Metro which goes straight in. Hotel parking available too which we used for our rented 9 seater. Was ideal.

Contemporary modern and spacious hotel. Shares reception and restaurant facilities with hospital but was not an issue. Very clean, excellent underground parking with lift access and close to centre of Lausanne.

Toujours un plaisir de descendre dans cet hôtel: c’est propre, bien entretenu et proche du métro. Le personnel est courtois et sympathique.

Situé en dehors du tumulte du centre ville, l'hôtel est relativement calme. Accès via metro ou voiture (taxi). En semaine, les chambres contigües étaient peu audibles. Le weekend, le parquet transmet modérément les bruits de pas, d'enfants ou de déplacement de meubles. Cet hôtel se trouve à côté d'un hôpital cependant les ambulances et hélicoptères restent discrets fenêtre fermée. Ma chambre (single) n'avait pas de climatisation mais un ventilateur sur pied ainsi qu'une toute petite TV. Mon linge de bain était troué et de vieux Qtips étaient restés dans la poubelle de la salle d'eau. J'ai trouvé les commandes des lumières compliquées. La connexion Internet est quelque peu limitée et n'est accessible que par WiFi via le réseau public de l'hôpital sécurisé par une authetification SMS. Le service de réception était agréable et les explications complètes. Une carte de transport m'a été offerte pour la durée du séjour. Le petit déjeuné est suffisamment fourni et copieux avec du sucré, du salé, du chaud, du froid. Deux fois, je suis tombé sur une tasse sale et plusieurs fois sur des places pleines de miettes. J'ai aussi trouvé les discussion du personnel un peu trop publics. Par contre, j'ai beaucoup apprécié de voir qu'ils préparaient les plats pour les personnes âgées ou handicapées. En définitive, mon séjour s'est bien déroulé et j'y retournerai volontiers. Mais dans mon cas, les prestations n'étaient pas tout à fait celles attendues par un "trois étoiles supérieur".

This is a hotel attached to a hospital. Hence a hotel for patients. Lots of travelers taking advantage of the good price though. Very clean. Nice large room. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast included. Metro is very close and convenient. Good water pressure, small shower. Good amenities. Very friendly staff. Offered suggestions on where to dine. Very good recommendation. Very clean!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel des Patients in Lausanne. The hotel can be quickly reached by car from the highway and is also close to a metro station if you arrive by train. The room itself and also the bathroom are very spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet had everything you need in the morning. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Hotel des Patiens.

Unsere Aussicht entsprach nicht den Fotos bei der Buchung des Zimmers. Das Frühstück war gut, doch die Tische wurden nicht sauber gereinigt und das Nachfüllen der Ware und das Bereitstellen der Kaffeeautomaten war sehr träge.

The room and all facilities at the hotel are super clean and free of any odors. The room is quite spacious. We loved the clean white clutter free design. The bathroom was very spacious unlike other hotels in Switzerland. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the variety of food. The hotel staff are courteous and friendly.

Hotel room jn a hospital- that’s different, but not bad! Very clean and spacious room. Unfortunately no AC in the room which made our night stay in August less comfortable due to the enormous heat- the two fans provided some relief, but not sufficient to make the stay comfortable. Restaurant was very strict with closing time (9pm).

Had a pretty good stay, hadn’t realized that this was actually in the hospital. With the windows open there was a lot of street noise even on a high floor. Booked this hotel partly because of the triple room that we understood to have a queen snd single bed. instead our teenage son had to sleep on a sofa bed. But all very clean, lovely bathroom and a great view of the lake.

The family room is quite spacious and offers wonderful lake views from the 6th floor. The staff are helpful, and the breakfast is enjoyable. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the M2 metro, though there is a slight uphill incline to reach it.

Rooms are super large. We are a family of 4. Had lots of room to move about. Had a great view of the city.

The room was a family one. Top floor. Fabulous views over Lausanne and the lake. Very conveniently located. Large balcony with stunning views of the sunrise! Hairdryer and kettle in the room. Would come back again!

Room has no air conditioning and fridge. It’s far from center in a remote suburb. Also, there is hospital staff in a hotel to accommodate patients from nearby hosipital

Zimmer und Bad war sehr gut, sauber, modern. Leider sehr heiss, da keine Klimaanlage. Hatte eine Ventilator im Zimmer aber nicht viel gebracht.

The rooms are extremely clean and incredibly spacious. There were huge windows with jaw dropping views of the mountains and the lake. It is very conveniently located near a metro stop that goes right into town and to the train station. The included buffet breakfast was amazing. Many of the guests are there to be close to patients at the connecting hospital, but there were non-hospital guests like us, too. We saw several new moms with their newborns in the dining room having breakfast with their families. Very sweet! I would definitely go back here on my next visit to Lausanne!

Super chambres! Service vraiment sympa à la réception mais aussi les femmes de chambres.

This is a hospital not a hotel. It is full of sick patients. There are very sick people coming and going all day long. There is even a hospital clinic on the 1st floor. I think this needs to be explicit in the listing of this hotel so people are aware of what they are booking. There is no Air Conditioning, so I would not advise staying here from June to August. They give you a fan but it does not cool the room at all. The front staff are pleasant, except some of the restaurant staff are very snobby towards English speaking people. Some training needed there for sure.

Un accueil exceptionnellement sympathique au check-in. Nous avons eu de très bons conseils pour notre premier séjour en ville.

Le personnel de l'Hôtel des patients est adorable, très serviable, souriant et flexible sur les horaires d'arrivée, car nous ne pouvions arriver que dans la soirée. Le Monsieur de la Réception est très sympathique et nous a bien renseigné sur les avantages liés au fait de séjourner à l'Hôtel des Patients : l'Hôtel vous offre un pass pour les bus, métro et tram le temps de votre séjour, ce qui est bien pratique pour visiter Lausanne en toute tranquillité, tout comme il donne droit à des réductions sur certaines visites ou des restaurants. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très bien garni, varié et irréprochable, là aussi les membres du personnel sont très souriants et agréables. Les chambres sont spacieuses, modernes, très propres et même si il n'y a pas de clim la présence du ventilateur a été appréciable ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dans cet hôtel lors d'une prochaine escapade en Suisse ! En France un tel Hôtel n'existe pas, un lieu où l'on croise des personnes malades, en situation de handicap ou de jeunes mamans avec leur nourrisson et nous aurions beaucoup à y gagner car cela rappellerait à tout un chacun la chance que l'on a d'être en bonne santé, d'éprouver un peu plus d'empathie et d'arrêter de se plaindre sur son sort pour un oui et pour un non ! Mais cela est peut être un peu trop utopique...

Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Our room was huge and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent and included everything you could want. And the free transport card they provided was invaluable.

Sehr freundliches Personal beim Check-In. Gute Lage in der Nähe der U-bahn, mit eigenem Parkhaus. Gutes Frühstück, wenn es auch gewöhnungsbedürftig ist mit Krankenhaus Patienten und ihren Besuchern zu frühstücken. Das Hotel ist wie der Name sagt für Besucher der Patienten des CHUV. Schöne und sehr saubere Zimmer.

Nice clean hotel with very specious room. Location is close to the metro and there is also a parking available. Personnel was very friendly and accommodating. Will stay there again.

Service is the best. However, it was noisy for couple nights and we can smell smoke even this is a smoke free hotel

Hotel was close to the(underground)train station. When you get off the train take the up the stairs or elevator to the main road and walk up the hill to the hotel. Less than 5 minute walk and not very steep hill. Staff member was super helpful. I had called earlier to ask about early check and was told no, but they could store our luggage if we wanted to sight see, but when we got there a couple hours early our room was ready which was great. Our room was quite large, bigger than we expected. Had a bed, a hide a bed couch, living room area, big bathroom, TV, and fan. No air conditioning in room but fan was helpful. Hotel is called Hotel Des Patients because it is near or connected to a hospital so family members have a place to stay if a loved one is in the hospital. We didn't know that when we booked it, but everything was wonderful. Staff members spoke good English and were very helpful with everything. Helped figure out my phone to get the free hotel internet, gave us an umbrella to borrow on a rainy day, stored our luggage when we checked out so we could go to church by train without lugging that around, and staff was just very pleasant and eager to help. Breakfast and lunch service was very good also. Breakfast was a big spread of food; fruit, yogurt, breads, meat, cheeses, sausage, bacon boiled or scrambled egg, chocolate or white milk in a box, cereal and a few other things, and self serve coffee and juice station. Great hotel and friendly staff!

Our room was not only spacious but also had a truly incredible view of Lausanne and Lake Geneva! The staff was very helpful. Breakfaast was plentiful and varied--but be sure to get there by 9:30--the staff clears the offerings by 10:00 a.m. The hotel is a half block from the subway and very convenient for most tourist destinations.

Schönes großes Familienzimmer. An der Rezeption sehr freundlich und sehr gut beraten. Metro ein paar Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Die Metrokarte ist für die Dauer des Aufenthalts kostenlos. Wir waren auf der Durchreise nur eine Nacht dort, werden aber sicherlich nochmals kommen und länger bleiben in Lausanne.

Hotel ist in der Nähe der U-Bahn oder Autobahn, sehr gut zu erreichen. Kathedrale ist auch zu Fuß erreichbar.

Perfect hotel choice for this middle age, solo, female traveler. Clean, safe, easy to get to from the metro, centrally located to everything I wanted to do in Lausanne, and everyone on staff was kind and helpful.

From Lausanne Gare, there is a very steep walk to hotel, I would not recommend walking if you are traveling with luggages and kids. Very nice breakfast with assorted bread, oats, flakes, fruits, coffee, pastry, milk, juice, meats, nuts and warm potatoes. From hotel room you can see the beautiful lake, cathedral structures down below. Water filling station outside rooms. Overall nice place to stay.

Nuestra experiencia en este hotel fue fabulosa, a pesar de que era un hotel para familiares de pacientes del hospital en que se encontraba. Esto afectó se ninguna manera nuestra estadía por el contrario, fue maravillosa. Una humilde recomendación es que hubiera variedad en el desayuno por día porque todos los días era lo mismo. Se debe tener en cuenta que Lausana se le reconoce por tener los mejores médicos, por lo que no esperábamos hospedarnos en uno de esta categoría. La experiencia fue muy grata por lo que recomiendo ampliamente este hotel.
