The saffron restaurant was overpriced for what we received. The waiter was terrible. At the pool there was no service for drinks. Refrigerator did not work that well. When I checked in, staff did not speak to me in English. Breakfast was OK. It was the same thing every day. The bed was nice. The room was fairly clean, but some things were not clean like the glass panels on the deck. They would clean the room and take the dirty towels, but then not replace the towels so I would have to call to request towels all the time. There was a roach in the shower that I had to kill.

The hotel is in an amazing location and has an outstanding view, especially after the abundant rain this year in Morocco which filled up the lake! The place is really beautiful. For the rest...the hotel is a bit dated in places. The first room we were given was very dark, had tiny windows and a "view" on some rocks - which they described as mountain views. it was definitely more a no view whatsoever. The shower pressure in this room was terrible and the temperature of the water oscilated between freezing and boiling... We paid a bit extra to change to a lake view room, it was worth it as we had a balcony, air and light in the room. the shower was slightly better but the temperature kept changing too. The food at the restaurant was overpriced and not great, we ordered a steak sandwich which had mainly fat and no taste. The breakfast was also disappointing, quite low quality, not replenished fast enought, the omellette made to order was bland and very greasy... In summary, we loved the experince for the location and the view but the other aspects of this hotel have a lot of room for improvement.
