Für ein 4-Sterne Hotel gibts ein paar Abzüge: die Rezeption war oft nicht kommunikativ im Sinne der Sprache (Englisch manchmal nur gebrechlich), was dazu führte dass ich 4x für einen Late-Check-Out fragen musste . Das Frühstück ist gut, aber für den Preis in dieser Hotelkategorie kenne ich eigentlich frischen Kaffee (nicht nur Selbstbedienung am Automaten) und auch Bestellungen für Eierspeisen mit Bedienung (z.B. individuelles Omelett oder Rührei) - man muss das nehmen, was da ist. Die Anlage ist aber sehr sauber, weitläufig, abwechslungsreich für Familien - aber auch der Adults only bereich optimal für kinderfreie Paare. Herrliche Strandbucht mit kristallklarem Wasser an sonnigen Tagen. Auch, dass man beim Checkout noch weiter Handtücher bekommt und sich duschen kann (bei späten Rückflügen) ist sehr entgegenkommend. Supermarkt direkt gegenüber mit allem was man braucht.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting in a picturesque cove. The room was well maintained, comfortable and spacious. The staff we met at reception, in the outdoor restaurant and cleaning our rooms were always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a very wide choice of food options. Children enjoyed the play area. Didn’t like the very busy and crowded family swimming pool.

Well laid out modern apartment with good amenities and good resort facilities. Unfortunately a handful of parking spaces for a multi-hotel resort. On site dining was expensive but plenty of options within 15 minute walk.

After visiting a the hotel post renovation, everything looks beautiful, but unpractical, the pool shrank significantly and its impossible to enjoy without bumping into a child/adult. For babies/toddlers will be perfect, but not for 4+ as the big pool is now very small for the volume of guests. The new pool restaurant was ok but expensive. The kids show looked very improvised and repetitive. Even the DJ was distracted chatting with staff around him. The mail restaurant needs for staff, plates were pilling on the table without someone being attentive to pick them up. The staff that we recognised from our previous visit, really makes the effort to do as much as possible, but more staff is needed. Half board doesn’t include drinks, be aware, expedia does not advertise this. Luckily we got compensation after claiming this via chat.

Sehr schöne und weitläufige Hotelanlage mit grosszügiger Poollandschaft und direktem Strandzugang zur Cala Esmeralda. Liegen am Pool sind schnell vergriffen (ca. ab 10 Uhr) während der Ferienzeit, jedoch achtet der Bademeister zwischen 9 und 10 Uhr darauf, dass sie nicht reserviert werden. Falls doch werden die Handtücher entfernt, was wir sehr begrüsst haben. Zentrum von Cala d'Or erreicht man entweder zu Fuss oder mit dem Bus oder dem Minitrenet, die beide direkt vor dem Hotel abfahren. Abwechslungsreiches und hochwertiges Buffet am Morgen und Abend. Am Mittag kann man sich an der Pool Bar versorgen. Es gibt sogar ein Mini-Buffet, für diejenigen, die zwischen 3 Uhr und 8 Uhr bereits abreisen. Unterhaltungsprogramm gibt es von montags bis freitags, u.a. Minidisco am Abend. Vergleichsweise modernes Fitnessstudio für ein Hotel. Sportplatz für Tennis, Fussball und Basketball ist auch vorhanden, sowie Tischtennisplatten, Billardtische und Minigolfbahnen. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend eingerichtet und die Sauberkeit stimmt. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder :-)

Very nice hotel. Access to the two cala’s is superb. Many outdoor options available throughout the resort. The room was very clean but outdated. I believe they have started renovations of the rooms as the one we had did not reflect the pictures at the time of booking. My only criticism is although it’s a family resort, I booked it anyways as the property description indicated there were family and adult only separate pools. Crying children were heard although this was the case. Same at breakfast, kids were running around the breakfast area as if it was a playground.

Refurbishment of hotel and room superb. Only problem lift not working , same in other blocks. Never saw anyonevtrying to fix them we with a baby in a pram in our party and on 3rd floor so hard work. Pools are cold even in Drago land, sea was warmer !! Entertainment very good. We have been on numerous occassiobs and updating of Esmeralda park is to a very high standard.

Fantastiskt fint hotell och rent rum. Trevlig personal. Dock Stort minus för poolområdet och stranden som var fullt av små barn och inga solstolar som folk sprang ut för att få. Ingen stol i närheten av poolen på hela dagen. Stranden överfull med folk på handdukar då stolarna var längre upp på stranden. Fruktansvärt mycket folk på frukosten och högljutt. Åt hellre på rummet som var trevligt!

Fint för barna :) kackerlackor på rummet. Fick ingen dispensation. Flera vi reste med hade kackerlackor på rummet. Men de va nått man fick vänja sig vid. Fin barnpool :)

Sadly, our stay was very underwhelming. The hotel is still under refurbishment, which wasn’t clearly communicated. There was no pool bar, a sewage smell coming from the air con, and the lift wasn’t working—especially dangerous and inconvenient with a baby. Staff communication was poor, and there was no real apology for any of the issues. The hotel might be nice once finished, but right now, it’s simply not ready. Wouldn’t return until everything is fully complete and functional.

Wir waren 11 Nächte dort. Die gesamte Anlage war gepflegt und sauber. Die nicht Deluxe Zimmer sind gefühlt in den 90er Jahren stehengeblieben. Abendunterhaltung für die Kinder war gut. Schöner Strand und genügend Pools.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön aufgebaut und alles ist sehr gepflegt - samt der poolanlage. Die Lage des Hotels ist top und man hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Cala Esmeralda. Wir hatten ein Premium-Appartment gebucht, welches kürzlich erst renoviert wurde. Leider waren dennoch bereits viele Mängel zu finden, wie total verkratzte Armaturen im Bad, fehlendes Furnier an den Möbeln, kaputte Dunstesse usw. Bei Anreise haben wir allerlei fremde Haare und einen dreckigen Boden vorgefunden, was aber nach Anruf bei der Rezeption sehr schnell behoben wurde. Die tägliche Reinigung war anstandslos. Die Auswahl bei der Halbpension war umfangreich, wenn auch sehr auf Massenabfertigung ausgelegt. Das Restaurant ist zu den Stoßzeiten sehr laut und für alleinstehende/Paare eher nicht zu empfehlen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit kleinen Abstrichen.

Wir haben das Hotel das 2. Jahr in Folge gebucht und besucht. Im Vergleich zum vorherigen Jahr wurde der Pool und Barbereich, sowie die Rezeption zum Positiven erneuert. Generell wird viel Wert auf die Qualität gelegt. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Der Miniclub hat unserer 4-jährigen Tochter ebenso gut gefallen, wie die Minidisco am Abend. Kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge: Die Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt, obwohl dies nur hätte passieren sollen, wenn man sie in der Dusche platziert hätte. Auch zwischen 8 und 10 Uhr bereits Reservierungen der Pool-Liegen entfernen. Ab 10 Uhr, als der Bademeister kam, wurde darauf jedoch sehr gut geachtet.
Wir haben das Hotel das 2. Jahr in Folge gebucht und besucht. Im Vergleich zum vorherigen Jahr wurde der Pool und Barbereich, sowie die Rezeption zum Positiven erneuert. Generell wird viel Wert auf die Qualität gelegt. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Der Miniclub hat unserer 4-jährigen Tochter ebenso gut gefallen, wie die Minidisco am Abend. Clean room, housekeeping cleans and restocks room daily which was so nice to come back to! Beautiful resort, beach is very close and staff was extremely helpful! Parking can be tedious but it’s the way all over the island! They provided crib for us and the store right across the street has everything you need including some baby supplies!

Ligger fantastisk smukt, men det er et kæmpe hotel område, der er rift om solvognene ved poolen og mange meenesker. Vil ikke anbefale restauranten, føltes som en kantine, der bliver ikke spritter af og der er virkelig meget larm, på ingen måde hyggeligt! Personalet er meget hjælpsomt. Vi havde desværre en del myrer på værelset hvilket virkeligt ikke var lækkert. Rengøring og ny håndklæder hverdag var dejligt.

Perfect location right next to a beautiful beach. Adults only pool in mid September was not that busy. Rooms were refurbished in May this year but already many scratches, doors not closing properly - it’s clear it was not the most high quality refurbishment. However sound proofing was great. We had Breakfast in our room rate which honestly was not great, and quite shocking in the number of options We enjoyed our stay as the hotel is extremely well located, but there are some gaps. I imagine in peak season the hotel is extremely busy.

We stayed in a top floor premium apartment which was very nice, spacious and light with a lovely large balcony. Food was nice with plenty on offer. Every member of staff we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Beautiful location with a small sandy beach which was very busy but it was high season still, very busy around the pool too. We will definitely return but probably at a slightly less busy time!

Beautiful property, the beds were ok, not the most comfortable, everything else in the room was perfect other than having one day where our hot water wasn’t fully working. We knew this would be a family resort, and had adult only areas but the public beach and dining is full of other people with young children and it’s very busy and loud. I would come back if I bring my kids with me, otherwise, I would go with an adults only resort for a more relaxing experience.

Wir waren 11 Nächte dort. Die gesamte Anlage war gepflegt und sauber. Die nicht Deluxe Zimmer sind gefühlt in den 90er Jahren stehengeblieben. Abendunterhaltung für die Kinder war gut. Schöner Strand und genügend Pools.

The design of the bathroom is awful, I’ve been to plenty of hotels and this was the worst. You couldn’t take a shower without the entire floor being flooded, including where the toilet stood! Also, I’ve never had to pay for use of an iron. I thought the 6 euro daily fee for an iron was ridiculous!

Die Anlage ist sehr schön aufgebaut und alles ist sehr gepflegt - samt der poolanlage. Die Lage des Hotels ist top und man hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Cala Esmeralda. Wir hatten ein Premium-Appartment gebucht, welches kürzlich erst renoviert wurde. Leider waren dennoch bereits viele Mängel zu finden, wie total verkratzte Armaturen im Bad, fehlendes Furnier an den Möbeln, kaputte Dunstesse usw. Bei Anreise haben wir allerlei fremde Haare und einen dreckigen Boden vorgefunden, was aber nach Anruf bei der Rezeption sehr schnell behoben wurde. Die tägliche Reinigung war anstandslos. Die Auswahl bei der Halbpension war umfangreich, wenn auch sehr auf Massenabfertigung ausgelegt. Das Restaurant ist zu den Stoßzeiten sehr laut und für alleinstehende/Paare eher nicht zu empfehlen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit kleinen Abstrichen.

Für ein 4-Sterne Hotel gibts ein paar Abzüge: die Rezeption war oft nicht kommunikativ im Sinne der Sprache (Englisch manchmal nur gebrechlich), was dazu führte dass ich 4x für einen Late-Check-Out fragen musste . Das Frühstück ist gut, aber für den Preis in dieser Hotelkategorie kenne ich eigentlich frischen Kaffee (nicht nur Selbstbedienung am Automaten) und auch Bestellungen für Eierspeisen mit Bedienung (z.B. individuelles Omelett oder Rührei) - man muss das nehmen, was da ist. Die Anlage ist aber sehr sauber, weitläufig, abwechslungsreich für Familien - aber auch der Adults only bereich optimal für kinderfreie Paare. Herrliche Strandbucht mit kristallklarem Wasser an sonnigen Tagen. Auch, dass man beim Checkout noch weiter Handtücher bekommt und sich duschen kann (bei späten Rückflügen) ist sehr entgegenkommend. Supermarkt direkt gegenüber mit allem was man braucht.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting in a picturesque cove. The room was well maintained, comfortable and spacious. The staff we met at reception, in the outdoor restaurant and cleaning our rooms were always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a very wide choice of food options. Children enjoyed the play area. Didn’t like the very busy and crowded family swimming pool.

After visiting a the hotel post renovation, everything looks beautiful, but unpractical, the pool shrank significantly and its impossible to enjoy without bumping into a child/adult. For babies/toddlers will be perfect, but not for 4+ as the big pool is now very small for the volume of guests. The new pool restaurant was ok but expensive. The kids show looked very improvised and repetitive. Even the DJ was distracted chatting with staff around him. The mail restaurant needs for staff, plates were pilling on the table without someone being attentive to pick them up. The staff that we recognised from our previous visit, really makes the effort to do as much as possible, but more staff is needed. Half board doesn’t include drinks, be aware, expedia does not advertise this. Luckily we got compensation after claiming this via chat.

There was no pool bar, a sewage smell coming from the air con, and the lift wasn’t working—especially dangerous and inconvenient with a baby. Staff communication was poor, and there was no real apology for any of the issues. The hotel might be nice once finished, but right now, it’s simply not ready. Generellt bra men inte mer än så. Förutom den otroligt varma och trevliga mörka mannen som jobbade som servitör. Ihanb… någonting hette han. Hotellet ligger jättevackert men det känns inte som ett 4 stjärnigt hotell. Kanske som att det har varit det en gång i tiden men är lite på dekis. Har kanske och göra med att vi har där sista helgen innan stängning.

Good hotel. Close to a great beach and a great cafe next to the beach that’s adults only. The hotel has a kids club. The kids club was enjoyed by our 5 and 7 year old. The 1 bedroom only has a sofa for the kids that can be modular to accommodate two kids. It’s not an extra dedicated bed for the kids. Staff was friendly.

Wir waren zufrieden haben allerdings nicht im Hotel gegessen, hatten ein Apartment mit Kochnische und haben unser Frühstück selbst zubereitet, 2 min zufuß bekommt man gute Semmeln das hat uns gereicht! Allerdings mit Kleinkinder die noch im Kinderwagen sitzen könnte es kompliziert werden denn es ist eine bergige Anlage mit vielen Höhen und vielen Treppen unter anderem zum Strand und auch zu den Zimmern. Ich als schwangere würde es in dem Fall nicht mehr buchen genauso nicht wie schon gesagt mit Kinderwagenkindern! Ansonsten schöne Bucht allerdings total überlaufen und keine Liegen direkt am Meer nur oben wo man pro Liegestuhl und pro Schirm 7,50€ bezahlt. Pools hatte ich auch schon schönere aber war ok der Erwachsenenpool ab 16 ist ganz schön.

Das Hotel liegt super. Direkt am Strand, mit Pool. Es gibt’s viele Dinge die man so machen kann, Billard. Tennis, Basketball. Tolles Fitnessstudio, Minigolf… Cala D‘ihr mit all seinen Geschäften liegt direkt dran. Man kann zu Fuß viel erkunden. Die Bimmelbahn fährt am Hotel. Es gibt einige Supermärkte im Umkreis. Das Appartement hat Herd, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle. Verpflegung klappt super selbst hier. Der einzige Nachteil, waren zum zweiten Mal hier. Die Zimmer riechen leider alle etwas feucht, schimmelig. Das zweite war okay, das erste ging nicht. Sauberkeit ist okay, aber nicht super.

Falls doch werden die Handtücher entfernt, was wir sehr begrüsst haben. Zentrum von Cala d'Or erreicht man entweder zu Fuss oder mit dem Bus oder dem Minitrenet, die beide direkt vor dem Hotel abfahren. Abwechslungsreiches und hochwertiges Buffet am Morgen und Abend. Am Mittag kann man sich an der Pool Bar versorgen. Es gibt sogar ein Mini-Buffet, für diejenigen, die zwischen 3 Uhr und 8 Uhr bereits abreisen. Unterhaltungsprogramm gibt es von montags bis freitags, u.a. Minidisco am Abend. Vergleichsweise modernes Fitnessstudio für ein Hotel. Sportplatz für Tennis, Fussball und Basketball ist auch vorhanden, sowie Tischtennisplatten, Billardtische und Minigolfbahnen. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend eingerichtet und die Sauberkeit stimmt. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder :-)

Perfect location right next to a beautiful beach. Adults only pool in mid September was not that busy. Rooms were refurbished in May this year but already many scratches, doors not closing properly - it’s clear it was not the most high quality refurbishment. However sound proofing was great. We had Breakfast in our room rate which honestly was not great, and quite shocking in the number of options We enjoyed our stay as the hotel is extremely well located, but there are some gaps. I imagine in peak season the hotel is extremely busy.

Für ein 4-Sterne Hotel gibts ein paar Abzüge: die Rezeption war oft nicht kommunikativ im Sinne der Sprache (Englisch manchmal nur gebrechlich), was dazu führte dass ich 4x für einen Late-Check-Out fragen musste . Das Frühstück ist gut, aber für den Preis in dieser Hotelkategorie kenne ich eigentlich frischen Kaffee (nicht nur Selbstbedienung am Automaten) und auch Bestellungen für Eierspeisen mit Bedienung (z.B. individuelles Omelett oder Rührei) - man muss das nehmen, was da ist. Die Anlage ist aber sehr sauber, weitläufig, abwechslungsreich für Familien - aber auch der Adults only bereich optimal für kinderfreie Paare. Herrliche Strandbucht mit kristallklarem Wasser an sonnigen Tagen. Auch, dass man beim Checkout noch weiter Handtücher bekommt und sich duschen kann (bei späten Rückflügen) ist sehr entgegenkommend. Supermarkt direkt gegenüber mit allem was man braucht.

Superbe hôtel, très propre. Personnel très accueillant et très sympathique. Nous étions en demi pension et le restaurant offre de nombreux choix de plats, d’entrée et de desserts de grande qualité. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel pour un séjour en famille.

Det var utrolig bråkete i martsalen. Unger som gråt og ropte og foreldre som styrte fært. Maten var ikke spesielt god - verken frokost eller middag. Kjøttet fra grillen var så seigt at det nesten ikke gikk an å tygge det. Rommene var OK, men litt ukoselige. Personalet var vennlige, men ikke mer enn det - de kunne feks ikke hjelpe oss med å få egne dyner til sengene. Positivt var at stranden og vannet var fint. Resten av Cala Dor var ikke noe å se på - nedslitte bygninger og kommersielle stranbutikker.

Expectations are higher for the amount of service received. Had to pay for the beach loungers and umbrella at the beach side whereas the ones by the pool was free. CardSlow and inefficient process accessing to most of things. ie. Needed to go to reception to activate the safe with unnecessary deposit. And interestingly, they could not make an authorisation on the card but asked for cash instead which did not make sense. Needed to wait until after 10am to get beach towels…

This hotel is in a beautiful setting in a picturesque cove. The room was well maintained, comfortable and spacious. The staff we met at reception, in the outdoor restaurant and cleaning our rooms were always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a very wide choice of food options. Children enjoyed the play area. Didn’t like the very busy and crowded family swimming pool.

After visiting a the hotel post renovation, everything looks beautiful, but unpractical, the pool shrank significantly and its impossible to enjoy without bumping into a child/adult. For babies/toddlers will be perfect, but not for 4+ as the big pool is now very small for the volume of guests. The new pool restaurant was ok but expensive. The kids show looked very improvised and repetitive. Even the DJ was distracted chatting with staff around him. The mail restaurant needs for staff, plates were pilling on the table without someone being attentive to pick them up. The staff that we recognised from our previous visit, really makes the effort to do as much as possible, but more staff is needed. Half board doesn’t include drinks, be aware, expedia does not advertise this. Luckily we got compensation after claiming this via chat.

The hotel was basically nice. There were very few chairs at the pool, and people rushed to reserve them as soon as the pool opened at 10 AM. However, 50% of the chairs were just reserved with a towel all day, and nobody was actually using them. The women working at the restaurant were rude to the customers.

Great hotel! Amazing location by the beach, with a view of the sea. Comfortable sunbeds in different areas (some with a great view), lovely rooms, great gym, a peaceful 13+ pool (for a break from the noise/fun at the other pools). The only negatives at this hotel was the lack of fresh juices at breakfast (the concentrate didn't taste nice), and the fact that people rush out to reserve sunbeds in the morning.

A nice hotel, in a great location not too far of a walk into the centre. We went on a couples trip, adult pool does get busy so you do need to get there before it opens to queue. Guests were offered a drink on check in (I saw on the day of check out) we were not offered any drink on check in. Rooms do not have irons and there wasn’t any available from reception for a few days. Found some of the staff to be abit rude
