Det er et fantastisk hyggeligt hotel lige ud til Nilen. Personalet var meget service minded. Det ligger roligt i udkanten af byen, hvilket vi virkelig satte pris på, da der ellers kan være meget trafikstøj. Der er masser at taxi’er som for ingen penge kørte os til templer m.m. Morgenmadsbuffeten er god og alsidig. Poolcafen og deres italienske restaurant kan vi også anbefale. Priserne er absolut rimelige. Faktisk var det halv pris af hvad vi oplevede i Cairo. Tilgengæld er deres aftenbuffet i Karnak restauranten relativ dyr. Nogle aftener tog vi over til det andet Steigenberger hotel i byen, da de nok har de bedste restauranter i byen og priserne er meget rimelige. Der var masser af plads omkring pool området og fantastisk service i poolbar m.m. Deres såkaldte gym er helt sikkert den dårligste af slagsen vi nogensinde har set på et hotel. Som ekstra service har hotellet feluka både liggende. En af dem brugte vi også til at arrangere hele vores tur til kongernes dal, så vi undgik at skulle køre mere end 2 timer syd om over broen. Og vi kunne være der inden de andre turister ankom. Det kan vi klart anbefale. Det er et hotel vi vælge igen. Vi var 2 familier med teenagere afsted.

Large property with Nile views. 3 restaurants and 2 pools. However, the "heated pool" was the same temp as the unheated one, wifi didn't reach my room so I had to go to the pool lobby to use the internet. The staff insisted the wifi was fine... Don't think I'd stay there again for the price.

Beautiful pool. Staff was very friendly and courteous. 5-Star service. There are also on site shops that make it easy to browse local goods without the high pressure tactics found elsewhere.

I liked the location and the lovely grounds. They had entertainers on every night and 3 restaurants available. the rooms were modern and had a lovely view of the Nile. The pool was also nice. Staff was friendly.

Great resort with beautiful garden right on the Nile. Lots of good facilities and friendly staff. Some small items like power points and electrical appliances are outdated, there is a ferry dock next door which had a running diesel engine all day on one day. It spoils the pool area - don’t know what, if anything the hotel could do about that though.

So my stay was amazing! Myself and my friend went. I highly recommend booking a Nile view. I did pay a little bit extra for it - we only stayed for one night but it was absolutely breathtaking just seeing the Nile. The pools were great, we did not know there was a jacuzzi but that looked great. The breakfast oh my word the best breakfast spread you will ever see - they have everything from a waffle/crepe/egg station to 10 different types of homemade jams - I would stay again for the breakfast alone. My friend and I only booked one night as we are only staying in Luxor for 2 days and back to Cairo but after the experience wit this hotel we wished we were there longer!! We also got a massage done and I forgot the name of the manager but he was amazing so accommodating and helpful as well as his amazing staff- my masseuse was unreal!! We really loved the shops too - we wanted to get souvenirs which is hard to get in Egypt because of all the unjust tourist prices and people yelling come to my shop, but the ones in the hotel were amazing especially the one selling all alabaster material stuff! This hotel is worth every penny the rooms are amazing, so quiet, great aircon everything you need and more!!!

Besst resort ever. Beautiful and clean. Right on the nile. Staff respectful and helpful. Would recommended to everyone. 2 swimming pools are just fantastic.

Right on the Nile with great vistas. Room with balcony is definitely worth. Food and drink are mediocre but on. Par with other places I have been to in Egypt. Do not recommend the spa

The hotel is not in the best condition. They definitely need new towels and new sheets. Also, when you eat in their restaurant and put the bill on your room, make sure you take a picture of the bill. When we checked out, the charges weren't correct (it was more than what was actually charged). Welcome to Egypt ;)

Great Nile location. Breakfast buffet was good. The bad. Dried feces on top of comforter. Replaced with yellow stained comforter and sheets not properly dried. Replaced with clean comforter no sheets. No apology or acknowledgment from staff. Said the tour director untruthful overpriced say anything to make a sale. Not to be trusted. Friendly staff on arrival ignored when leaving WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Schöne Lage des Hotels am Nil. Die ganze Anlage ist etwas veraltet. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite gebucht. Als ein 5* Steigenberger Hotel ist es nicht zu werten, eher 3-4* EU. Personal war sehr freundlich. Frühstück okay. Auch PP hat es (sind mit dem Mitetwagen angereist). Leider hat das Hotel in einer Nacht eine Hochzeit ausgerichtet. Schlafen vor 3 Uhr am Morgen war unmöglich. Beim Abendessen war ein Gespräch nicht möglich und es blieb nur die Flucht in andere Hotels. Die Speisekarte war eh ziemlich beschränkt. Wir haben wegen dem Lärm energisch reklamiert - ohne Erfolg. Dieser Affront und das Verhalten des Hotel-Managers gegenüber den Gästen betrachten wir für ein 5* Steigenberger als ein absolutes no go! Aber wie oft : Das Hotel muss vor der ersten Nacht voll bezahlt oder garantiert werden. Die wissen offensichtlich weshalb 😉. Für uns keine Wiederholungsgefahr.

Had to call several times to get the towels - they forgot to place towels for our room; no-one answers when you dial the house keeping number. Front desk is too busy to respond to calls. The pool area was nice; walk along the Nile was good too. River Nile view from the balcony room was spectacular. Booked transportation from the concierge and everything went seamless. The staff was courteous. Rooms were nice, quiet; spacious and with comfortable bed.

Clean room, helpful staff, fridge in room did not work despite reporting it, disappointed breakfast was not included in reservation as we stayed a couple of days prior with another booking company and breakfast was included for the same price

This is a dated property on the river bank but away from town. WiFi offered is less than 1mbs reminiscent of speeds from 20 years ago. Hotel staff doesn’t respond to emails from guests before arrival. Hallways are lined with old stained carpets. Bathrooms in the rooms are cramped. Food quality is decent but forgettable. Stay elsewhere.

Overall not a 5 stars standard. positives: breakfast, great views to the nile and nice shopping area within complex. Negatives: internet, service and size of room and beds. no option for late check out or day use.

Decent room. Not a 5 star hotel. More like 3 star. But, did the job. Good stay for visiting Luxor.

Really great hotel with nice swimming pool and decent breakfast. The rooms are big.

The room was clean, but it was old and not up to 5-star standards. The cleaning staff were very friendly, but the other staff at the desk were just so-so. In particular, the breakfast area did not provide napkins, and although there was a lot of food, it was a breakfast with nothing to eat.

My stay was only for a night, but it was wonderful! The staff was more than helpful and so incredibly kind. I arrived a little before check in and was happy to grab lunch and wait, but they went above and beyond and got me in my room early. They could probably tell I was quite tired. This was my first trip to Luxor, but I have no doubt I will be checking in here again!

Not a good experience. A/C didn’t work even after they “fixed it,” wifi is comparable to a dial-up connection—couldn’t get any work done, Karnak restaurant servers were rude/unpleasant—they look like you’re inconveniencing them and they don’t want to be there. Restaurant hostesses and front desk were nice. Overall I expected more from Steigenberger—wouldn’t recommend nor go back.

Manager names Mr Mursi did not even bother to meet me face to face despite repeated concerns raised about following issues: First of all staff communication was appalling. There was a certain degree of arrogance from male staff towards females. Breakfast was in fact stale. Bread hard as rock, unhygeinic fruit with human hair on it so couldn’t even eat with any satisfaction, tea and coffee station completely chaotic, no clean cups, milk and juices non existant no hot milk available. Almost 5-10 min wait just for tea. Instead of offering late check out for $30 as is policy, I was asked to book a new room for $65 dollars. This was after explaining that my 4 year old and my pregnant wife was sick after eating probably the unhygeinic breakfast. Ultimately after multiple protests about defrauding me into buying a new room, the ‘manager’ who I never saw once throughout the stay OKayed my request of late checkout. The Karnak Bar is aweful. When I requested the mint tea they literally brought me mint leaves in boiling water. I am sure even the remotest familiarity with middle eastern culture would have resulted in better service. If you ask for anything the staff stare at you blankly and instead of escalating to a senior they just start getting angry at you. The staff at the breakfast buffet were horrendous. They kept ignoring my wife’s request for tissue paper and when I pointed out a hair in fresh orange, they kind of blamed me for it until I had to tell them I am BALD.

Everything was great. One thing I would recommend, is to advise the cleaning staff to double check before walking in the room. We forgot to put the do not disturb sign. Before we knew it, the cleaning guy was walking in our room.

コンシュルジェに、空港までの早朝のタクシーの手配を前日に頼んだところ、明日チェックアウトしてからにしてと回答を受け、当日朝の対応は、忙しいせいかまともな対応をしてもらえず、自ら対応をせざるをえなかった。朝食のビュッフェの選択肢が少ないせいもあり、卵料理の調理に列ができていて、料理人と宿泊者が揉めていたり、気持ちの良い対応とは思えなかった。湯船の栓が壊れていて、お湯を貯めることができなかった。

The hotel, staff, service we received and hotel grounds were just fantastic. The only gripe we have/had, was that we couldnt walk out of the hotel grounds without being pounced upon (not literally!). Taxis, people with boats, horse and carriages all waiting and pestered us to buy their service. We like walking and can cope with some harrassment, but felt like we couldnt walk out of the hotel grounds, which was a shame. Otherwise, brilliant holiday with this hotel.

Nice hotel, great breakfast! It’s pretty clean overall and the service was ok. I would stay here again. The area around the resort is pretty sketchy though.

Hotel was good. We were able to recharge and relax at the pool for a day. It is at the end of the main street which meant it was quiet but not far from anything. Only issue is we got sick from the food at the restaurant and it was a lot more expensive to eat in the hotel than right outside. Aside from the restaurants, everything else we enjoyed.

The perfect hotel, stunning view of the Nile, and a friendly staff. A quiet oasis in Luxor, one of the best hotels by any standard.

Property overall is nice. There is no restaurant nearby.

The hotel is set along the Nile in a stunning location. It is everything a hotel should be, friendly staff, beautiful, quiet, and convenient.

This hotel was beautiful. But suggest you choose a Nile View room. Food is good. Friendly people. Lovely pool area and beautiful outlook over the Nile. It is also very close to the Luxor Temple.

What's good: The location is quite good, by the Nile river with good sunset view. Staff are friendly and most of time helpful. What's bad: Wifi is unacceptable bad!!! The connection is on and off for most of the time. I cannot watch Youtube with even the lowest resolution quality. We have to disconnect our phones to be able to have our laptop connecting to wifi. Basically, you can consider that there is no wifi here. Food is also bad, not fresh and choices are very limited. What's worse is that they don't have enough food for the amount of guests staying in the hotel. One day, I have to wait for 15 mins to get a clean cup. Another day, I waited for more than 30 mins and still not able to get a coffee because the coffee machine is not working. Table is left unclean until you chase and grab a staff member to do it for you. Overall, no way this is a 5-star hotel, I will say maybe an OK 3.5-star hotel, mostly due to its good location.

The food was lees than perfect. No flavor or over cooking. Too much oil in the salad for example and all you can taste is oil or no salt as another example. It was also served cold. It was as if prepared quickly by amateurs. But staff so friendly and pleasant to stay. Calm and peaceful. Get trained cooks and this will be too top notch. Cooks with good recipes who make sure food is prepared with care and not thrown together quickly. Something that would make me come back The food taste is like we have tourists coming all the time we don’t need to care about them coming back. Let’s make it just good enough to eat. The setting is beautiful. It would be nice to enjoy just as beautiful meals.

Buen hotel sin ser extraordinario, buenas vistas al Nilo. Mala calidad de comida en la cena, sobretodo si se considera el precio que cobran en comparación con los costos locales. Servicio regular a deficiente en el restaurante. Mejor comer en caso de necesidad en el bar algún sándwich o algo parecido, de lo contrario prever comer en otra parte.
